Remember

Baron Gauntlet floated above the city streets, dangling a crying baby by its ankle above Dr. Phantasm. He grinned devilishly before letting go. Dr. Phantasm looked on in horror as the baby plummeted to the ground, unable to break out of his chains. A second before it would have hit the ground, the baby freezes in midair. The Baron growled in frustration.

"Argh, what is wrong with you!" yelled the Baron. He pressed a button on his glove, disabling the simulation and leaving the two costumed men in an empty holo-chamber. "You're supposed to break out of your bounds, catch the insipid brat and then make some sesquipedalian quip at my expense."

"For the last time, I don't remember how to do that!" yelled Dr. Phantasm. "I don't remember anything since I opened the box! Just..." The doctor slumped to the ground, too overwhelmed to stand. "I can't do this. I'm not Dr. Phantasm anymore. I'm just Mr. Riekert. I teach at community college. You've won. Isn't that enough for you?"

"Never! Because I'm your archnemesis! What am I supposed to do if I can't rub my successes in your face? Embrace my own achievements without external validation? In this economy?" He sighed, covering his face with one of his impressive gauntlets before resetting the simulation. "I'm going to turn you back into this generation's greatest hero one way or another."
