- Firebending:
- Firebending is the art of fire manipulation, and definitely the most aggressive of the four bending arts. While other bending techniques would involve having to use external sources, Firebenders create fire with their own internal body heat. The fighting style focusing on using a quick and powerful barrage of blows to overwhelm the opponent with brute force, and contains little defensive moves. Despite this, the martial art involves much more technique than it would at first appear to. Strikes exert incredible power, but only momentarily, much like an explosion, and circular motions are key to the fighting style. As for the fire that is created, it depends on the move used. There are many ways for a Firebender to use their element.
- However, it does have its weaknesses. Breath control is majorly stressed for Firebending, as poor control of breathing leads to poor control of the created flame, which could lead to it burning rampantly. Also, strong emotions such as rage can amplify the power of Firebending, it can also lead to a loss of control, possibly leading to the harm of the Firebender or unintended targets. Finally, because of the mystical link Firebending has to the sun, the power of the fighting style is lessened at night, and especially during an eclipse. It is also weakened by cold temperatures.
- Naomi herself is an above average Firebender, and uses powerful offense, forgoing almost all defense, feeling that it will slow her down. The moves Naomi have mastered include creating fireballs, explosive blasts, streams of flame, narrow arcs and rings created by sweeps and kicks, small jets from the fingertips, whips and lashes made of flame, controlling other sources of heat, disks of flame, and the ability to 'charge' her attacks. However, there are still other, even more powerful techniques she has yet to learn.
- Lightning generation and redirection:
- Naomi has the rare and unique ability to create and redirect lightning. Creating lightning requires complete peace of mind, and lack of any and all emotion for the duration of the attack. By doing a circular motion with one's arms, while separating the positive and negative charges, also known as the energies of yin and yang. When the two energies come back together, lightning is created, and the bender guides it to the intended target through their fingertips. Redirecting lightning from another source is a somewhat different process. The lightning is absorbed through one arm, led through the gut, and out through the other towards a new target.
- Manipulating lightning can be a dangerous technique to use, and performing it incorrectly can be harmful, even deadly. Because of the necessity for the clarity of mind, and how close lightning comes to the heart when redirecting it, any distraction can cause the energy to go off course, harming the bender. Also because of the concentration necessary to use these techniques, they take longer to preform than normal Firebending attacks until one is a complete master. While spending time in the InFamous universe gave her the chance to practice using lightning with Cole MacGrath, she has yet to fully master this power.
- Personality:
- Despite the aspect of control that Firebending training imposes on students, Naomi is a person that is ruled by her emotions. She is quick to anger and violence, seeming to always look for an excuse to fight. And, while in a fight, she does everything possible to win, and despises any loss. Coupled with her anger is a streak of rudeness and sarcasm, which is used on almost anyone. All she seems to care about is advancing her own goals and growing stronger, and will go through anyone that gets in her way. In fact, she is always blaming herself, and attempts to grow stronger and make up for any perceived mistakes by obtaining every bit of power she can, to an almost obsessive degree.
- However, there is a hidden, softer side to the Firebender. If one manages to get close enough to her to be her friend (an achievement that is no mere feat), she will be their faithful companion, ready to fight for them at a moment's notice, showing that she truly is capable of caring. She'll have to learn to trust first though, and her trust is not easy to gain. But it is truly Naomi's passion that is her greatest strength. Any interest or goal she sees through to the fullest, especially when it comes to her Firebending. Naomi is truly a diamond in the rough, her good side needs only to be coaxed out.
- Alignment:
- Neutral, but eventually Good.
- Appearance:
- Naomi has black hair, styled in a sort of messy bob cut that is cut short, reaching midway down her cheeks. Her eyes are a dark amber color, and are shaped somewhat longer than they are wide. Her complexion is clear, and her skin tone is that of the Fire Nation ethnicity, which is based off of the real-life Japanese people. Also featured prominently in the Fire Nation people are more prominent cheekbones and higher nose bridges, all traits that Naomi has. As far as clothing goes, she wears a black jacket over a red shirt with yellow trim, jeans that are ripped at the knees, black steel-toed combat boots, cloth bandages that are wrapped around her wrists and hands, and a small backpack that can be used for Chau to hide.

- History:
- Naomi was born into a wealthy Fire Nation family located in the capital of the nation. Her mother died in childbirth, and she therefore never felt attachment to her, and was happy being raised in all the luxuries of being rich. However, while fighting in the Fire Nation's war against the other three nations, her father was capture by Earth Nation soldiers, and died as a prisoner before the war's end. Because of her close bond with her father, this news devastated Naomi, a depression that was made only worse when the loss of her father also meant the loss of her family's status when there was no way for only her and her caretaker to pay the taxes. Eventually, the strain grew too great on her, and Naomi ran away from home, with nothing but the clothes on her back, and still a young girl.
- Eventually, she managed to join up with a group of street urchins, and spent much of her time trying to raise money, not always through honorable means. Eventually, once she had enough money, she paid her way into a Firebending academy, having discovered her talent. She managed to excel in all classes, and learned very quickly, gaining passing grades at every opportunity. However, this earned the ire of a few other students, who felt that someone so obviously poor should not be able to be so affluent at bending. One day, this tension reached a peak when they grouped up and attacked her, telling her that she was not allowed to be any better than them due to her social status. Of course, she realized that this was a completely stupid concept, but was unable to do anything against the group. From then on, she refused the offers to take advanced classes.
- On a stormy day, Naomi had been on her way to class, hurrying to get out of the rain. Suddenly she was struck by lightning, but instead of being harmed at all, she somehow managed to direct it through her body, and out the opposite side safely. However, onlookers had realized what she had done. One of the very few known people known to use lightning was the former princess Azula, who was hated for her cruelty. The onlookers quickly turned into an angry mob, in fear of Naomi being like the ex-princess. However, before she could be harmed, there was a bright light, and Naomi had quite suddenly disappeared.
- She woke in Haven City, where she met Blaizokaran, who helped her find her bearings as an Interference, and took her to Radiant Garden, where she acquired her own Gummi Ship. She then went on to Olympus Colosseum, where she trained for some time with David Stevens, who was disguised as Cooper Bell. The two eventually left together, where they met then-Corporal Azumi Ian and Kalas, and discovered David's true identity. After fighting a shark, she left on her own to Twilight Town, where she met Karin, a Red Mage. Deciding to help the Red Mage start as an Interference, Naomi took her to Radiant Garden, and then to The Land of Dragons, where she met Spencer Johnson. The three investigated the caves in the mountains of The Land of Dragons, and discovered a newly born dragon, who immediately took to her. The dragon, which Naomi named Chau, even developed minor speech abilities.
- The three journeyed together to Wonderland, where they had an encounter with the Queen of Hearts, and had to fight a Trickmaster Heartless. The three then split up, and Naomi went on her own way, wishing to train more in her skill and get to know Chau better.
- Naomi eventually came to the universe of InFamous, during the time between the first and second game. There, she met Cole MacGrath and his allies, who helped her with her lightning abilities because of Cole's similar powers. In return, she helped fight off the invasion of Empire City by the forces of DARPA and FBI agent Moya Jones, who was trying to capture in Cole in an effort to replicate the effects of the power-activating weapon of mass destruction, the Ray Sphere, as well as David Warner, a man who had been exposed to the Ray Sphere so many times it led to extreme muscular mass and deformity, and who believed Cole to be the first game's villain, Kessler (technically not untrue), who had murdered his wife and child, and was attempting to exact his revenge on the electrokinetic. However, even with Naomi's help, Cole was captured by Moya. The Firebender worked with Cole's friends Zeke and the villainess mind controller Sasha to rescue him, and eventually did so, fighting and killing David in the process, and also causing major damage to the boat Cole had been held captive on. All but Moya managed to escape.
- Soon after that, Cole got a call from a female NSA agent named Lucy Kuo, and he offered for Naomi to stay and help them. She declined, thinking she had learned all she could from Cole and that it was no longer in her interest to stay and help.
- She and Chau returned to Gummi Space, and continued their adventures.
