  38. Description:
  39.
  40. The snowfields of the Catalan region have yielded many archeological finds, as their bitter cold have frozen several remnants of ancient civilizations in perfect condition, but perhaps none more curious than an entire species of Pokemon freed from under the ice during a dig. The historic dig reported several baffled archeologists laying witness to a new species casually trotting out from underneath the ice. Previously-found remnants of constructed Pokemon were discovered, upon bringing in a subject, to be this new species—the newly-christened 'Fimbulb'.
  41.
  42. Standing at 1'1", or 33 centimeters tall, the cool blue Fimbulb has a simple biology. Its 'flesh' is constructed of flash-frozen, cool-blue clay similar to another ancient Pokemon species, Golett. The name comes from its bulb-like torso, which glows with the heat of its internal 'combustion reactor'. Fimbulb moves by using its tank tread-like feet at the bottom of its central bulb, and its only other biology is a jagged, fanged mouth on the front of its central reactor, with nostrils on the end and beady eye fixtures on each side, akin to the head of an alligator. Symbols in an ancient, yet-undeciphered language line the central reactor.
  43.
  44. Much like its cousin Golett, the Fimbulb line were created by an ancient civilization—in this case, for the purpose of trash disposal. The average Fimbulb has a cheerful disposition as it munches on clay, ice, refuse, and other materials. The flame that burns inside of it burns hot enough to incinerate whatever Fimbulb eats and perpetuate its existence—however, when the flame flickers, Fimbulb will fall over and take a nap until it smells food. Its reactor is lined with a sheet of intensely cold ice, which douses the flame if it gets too hot by partially melting—as such, the ice and the flame remain in a balance where neither can destroy the other.
  45.
  46. Having been previously built as domestic tools and/or pets (some recent discoveries depict humans walking with pet Fimbulbs), the species are very social and easy to train, despite their relative rarity and difficult habitat to traverse. Their voracious appetite means they will be excited to eat just about anything their Trainer commands, and their temperature modulation means they can easily survive in many harsh environments.
  47.
  48. The method of their construction still remains unknown.
  49.

  85.
  86. Description:
  87.
  88. While most Fimbulbs appear to have been satisfied remaining Fimbulbs, a few messes required the development of an 'adult' form, much like Golurk. A Fimbulb who has eaten a sufficient amount of materials will increase in power, its combustion literally becoming white-hot. This triggers the evolution into a new form to handle its new power—the form of Glaciengine.
  89.
  90. The central reactor bulb is still present in Glaciengine, but its body has grown significantly. The small tank treads it moved on have now grown claws, and with Glaciengine's new jointed, dinosaur-esque legs, can be used to run, or even 'skate' along the ground at far higher speeds than it could manage previously. The central reactor has ballooned in size, and the symbols on it now glow white with the flame. However, it is now topped with icicle 'spines', permanently frozen moisture formed into spikes covering the otherwise-vulnerable back of the creature. These spines also run across Glaciengine's new upper body, which is primarily a neck-like tube used for space for Glaciengine to eat more food. Its fanged mouth has increased in sharpness and overall size, and Glaciengine now has the beginnings of horns on both the top and bottom of its jaws, as well as slightly more head mass overall. However, its charmingly alligator-esque head shape has not changed in the slightest. It now stands 5'1", or 155 cm, having quintupled in size.
  91.
  92. The spines on Glaciengine's back will sometimes release vapor from the heat within it, which Glaciengine can sense through to locate ideal food. Its voraciousness has increased to match its larger body, and Glaciengine's jaws can now superheat, flash-freeze, or even electrify themselves to consume previously-inedible materials. Metals like steel and iron, however, prove to be a Glaciengine's favorite meal.
  93.
  94. As Glaciengine does not have bones, only one known specimen has ever been found—an entombed Glaciengine's dead reactor was found within a deep tomb in the Catalan Catacombs. Wild Glaciengine are quite rare, but will care for wild Fimbulbs as though they were its own children (despite the fact that Glaciengine, being artificial Pokemon that lack physical sex, can only breed with Ditto). Glaciengine's cheerful, sociable nature has not changed during evolution. Pokemon Trainers whose Fimbulbs evolve note an increase in nuzzling, and the occasional gentle nibble on their clothes, as gestures of affection from Glaciengine—however, its new appetite can occasionally get the best of it, and cause it to eat things it likely knows it shouldn't, such as furniture or appliances.
  95.
  96. Glaciengine also gets along well with other Pokemon, being sometimes overly playful. Its habits from childhood have not changed much, and if left hungry for too long, Glaciengine will still fall over where it stands to take a nap. Glaciengine is an impressive sleeper when left to its own devices, the depth of its sleep sometimes even rivaling that of a Snorlax.
