"Physiological Warfare, can anyone tell me what that is?" The professor asks
one student raises one of his appendages
"It's when you use methods to reduce enemy moral, sir"
"That is correct X'yerthi, Does anyone know who are the masters at psychological warfare?"
A few students raise their hands and the professor calls on one of them
"Uh...the Kranx, sir?"
"Their war paint and chants are good uses of psychological warfare, but you are wrong. It is actually the Terrans who have mastered this art" the professor continues
Murmuring fills the lecture hall, with students talking among themselves
"Sir, If I may interrupt, how can such a young race already be masters at that?" One student asks
"Ah, good question. i was just getting there but first we need some back story to the footage I was about to show" the professor says
"Back when humanity was first discovered, the alliance became interested in their military capabilities and culture..."
"One way they learned about human history is by visiting many of what Terrans call "Antique shops", where they sell old artifacts from the past. During one such visit they found two old games that young Terrans used to play, you all remember when this was found yes?" the professor asks.
Almost every student bobs their heads
"Back then we thought these were documentaries, actual things that humans were capable of..." the professor goes on
"The Alliance went into panic mode, for they thought they just accepted a race of psychopaths into the Alliance..."
"And the humans saw this and used it to their advantage..."
"For you see, when the Alliance also went to the Terrans to study their military history and military capabilities, they found a large use of 'Terror weapons' and operations just to strike fear into the enemies heart..."
"Sniper teams, the use of deep operation units that's sole job is to make the enemy jumpy by placing bombs where they least expect it, and much more..."
"To show how they used this fear caused by the craze, We have some helmet footage from a detachment of Terran Marines during a space battle against the Qurthyans, the men in the footage are preparing to board a Qurthyan Cruiser...now pay attention"

The professor starts the recording, showing a platoon sized unit of Marines stacked up in an airlock, in full battle gear with close quarter weapons in hand
"ALRIGHT FUCK STICKS! THAT XENO SHIPS HAS HAD IT'S WEAPON SYSTEMS KNOCKED OUT AND IT'S WARP DRIVE AS WELL! WE'RE GOING TO CLEAR IT OUT OF ANY OF THOSE PIG LOOKING FUCKERS IS THAT CLEAR?" The marine near the front of the column shouts
"AYE SIR!"
"DO YOU LIKE HURTING XENOS?" the officer yells again
"HELL YES SIR!" the marine shout back
suddenly the airlock shutters for a few seconds with a great groaning sound then it stops
"WE HAVE LOCK! CUTTERS DO YOUR WORK! MASKS ON EVERYONE!" the officer yells as he takes what looks like a tiger mask and sticks it to the front of his helmet
The rest of the marines follow suit, as well as the marine the camera footage came from
"START THE MUSIC! LET'S MAKE THESE XENOS SHIT THEMSELVES!" the officer yells into his mic
soon extremely loud music penitrates the recording, obviously being blared over the PA at maximum volume

Many of the marines in the coloumn visibly get antsy or more pumped up, with phrases like "kill all the fuckers onboard" can be heard
around 1:05 into the song the door is cut through, blowing into the alien ship and the marines barrel through the door firing their shotguns and rifles as they go
Many students have to excuse themselves during the footage that followed
Others stared on as the marines violently and brutally sweep the ship, using methods that no one in the alliance would ever dare using
One marine in the footage is seen hacking away at a Qurthyan with a fireaxe before flinging it at another who rounded the corner then charging him
The professor paused the recording, catching the moment the marine with the camera began gourging out the eyes of Qurthyan Marine after a short hand to hand struggle
"You see, the humans took the fear that was instilled by the craze the finding of those two games caused and began using it in their military operations..."
"The unit in question that this footage came from that you all must have recognized by now, is the famed and feared 72nd Terran Marines, also known as..."
"The Hotline crazies"
