I watch the world from the rooftop
Wanting my time in this world to stop
As I watch the stars shine from above,
I wish I could fly towards them like a dove

If you want to see me before I go,
better hurry before my head hangs low
I walk towards the edge as my time nears
but my friend appears with a face full of tears

He pulls me back, holding me close
Telling me that he would miss me the most
My heart began to ache once more
and my first emotional tears fell to the floor

Not even once did I even dare
to think anyone in this world would care
but he listened and heard my final plea
I am thankful for my friend for saving me
