[16:24] LayaElisabeth: This is what you can do:  you ARE allowed to place signs near the desired region poles stating that someone WANTS to claim them, or have their eye on that region, asking others to Not claim them.
HOWEVER; Other players are NOT obliged to obey those signs and have the right to punch the signs and claim it anyways.
Placing signs does not reserve the right of ownership. We allow NO animosity when other players choose to ignore the signs..
[16:25] LayaElisabeth: that said, there's plenty of regions to go around, even if your first picks get taken, there will still be enough room elsewhere to make a colony but you might have to settle on whatever terrain you get.
[16:26] scratchythecat: Yeah, that's the problem we wanted some particular things since a few of us need specific regions for their base designs. So can I take screenshots of coordinates of region and ask them to post a forum asking for mayorship over the region?
