- SPOILERS!!!

- My ending was: Ciri becomes the witcher. Possibly the best ending? Unless she really wanted to be the empress.
- Sadly, not only the ending was shorter than the one for Mass Effect 3, it was very underwhelming at the same time. A short side quest followed by quick graphic novel flashes ...and that's it.
- Seriously, some obscure secret side quests had more production values and emotion than the ending.
- On top of that, this particular ending is just plain silly. Geralt lies to Emhyr var Emreis, Ciri's father, that the girl is dead. The emperor is sad. "Did he believe you?", Ciri asks later. "No idea", admits the witcher. So basically at this point we leave Emhyr var Emreis thinking his daughter is possibly dead. The daughter he spent insane amount of resources looking for.
- And then the ending tells you what ultimately happened to Ciri: that she became a world famous witcher, "Rumors spread from the Yaruga to the mountains of Kovir of this ashen-haired adventuress."
- I mean...
- - Hey, Emhyr var Emreis, who rules half of this planet, there's this girl looking exactly like the daughter you've been so hard looking for in the past. And she's a witcher. Interested?
- - Nah bro, I'm good.
- What the fuck... :)
- Look, The Witcher 3 is an absolutely incredible ride and the weak endings don't change that. But there is a little bit of that bitter aftertaste in my mouth now. You invest 10+ hours in Lord of the Rings and you get an ending that lasts another 10. I invested 100+ hours into The Witcher 3 characters and their stories and all I got was a side quest and a short graphic novel.
- Oh well. Still <3 So sad we have to wait till October for the first story DLC :)
