 You had to stay quiet about why you wanted a healing artifact around Touko-nee, but eventually she caved and helped you design something that would conceivably work to heal and repair any physical damage or disease she could imagine. When you asked about souls and curses she promptly bopped you on the head and told you that messing with stuff like that using a Mystic Code for that was a good way to get a person killed or worse.
