- [16:34:20] Its true what they say, war is hell.
- The screams, the terrible screams. As Thom dashed and ran around, trying to save as many people as he could, he would more often then not see the bodies of hte slain soilders. Tears filled the brim of his eyes for the first few times but after that there would just be the harrowing nothingness felt inside of him. The giant eletricty elemental that followed his moves dashed to the right and left, cackling, but at what? Perhaps the deaths or perhaps the feeblness of its own master.
- And so it would be in this haze like state that Thom began to walk. Without thinking he would slice through the bodies of yokai, for once forgetting to check if they lived or not. He felt lost.. Reddish lighting dancing around him in this hellscape of a world.
- However before long his golden hues fell upon the form of another. A mage who seemed also to be powerful in this landscape. The glaive would be twirled and wordless and carelessly Thom stormed forth towards them, fire and lighting at the ready.

- [16:39:28] The tide turns.
- The battle had soon descended to the point of stalemate, both sides with elite forces yet to spare as those less capable creatures-- yokai and human-- fell in droves in the fact of magical forces beyond their means to deal with.
- He would be fighting on.
- Fresh from prevailing over Sirus, the harshly critical Occultist had moved on to striking down any others than got in his way with significantly less effort, a group of skeletal warriors preventing any that might slip a dagger in his side at a vulnerable moment.
- It isn't minutes before he comes upon his next true opponent, a blaze of lightning and flame flavoured with Occultism... possibly at his level or even beyond it, yet on that side.
- Muffled albeit, his voice speaks mockingly of the approaching figure as his powers are manifest in full to ward him off-- what chance did this inferior man stand, wielding dark powers in the name of good?
- "Oh, Thom. You still don't get it, do you?"
- Sickles of blackened wind soar in the oncoming Magi's direction, threatening to lacerate and bleed if not sever limbs entirely.
- The battle was on.

- [16:45:26] He still didn't get it?
- A blink of those hazy golden eyes as he heard the voice and though it was farmilar he could not remember where he had heard it before. His face would be one of loss, perhaps even despair as he walked over the various bodies of the falle, yokai and magi in his path as lighting and flame both bore into him and into the other he fought.
- Still, he spoke no words. As fire marred him, nothing was said. As darkness pulled on him, nothing was said. As the undead sliced at his skin and tried to tear him limb from limb nothing was said. All he did was keep moving, wordlessly in flurry, sometimes even becoming lighting itself.
- "I still don't get it... The world is dark enough even if I do get it. Does it even matter? People are dying.. What is there to get."
- (Thom M. Takashi)
- [16:50:33] It isn't going as planned.
- Ramia and Thom clash almost equally, albeit it felt as if he were likely the sooner to yield-- his stamina wasn't the best of his traits, though the disguised Occultist is not yet done. His skeletal minions remaining close ranks to shield him, granting a momentary reprieve.
- "You're following a bunch of hypocrites." His words are laced with venom, slightly weary now he'd been forced on the back foot... the previous Magi hadn't given him nearly as much trouble. How was it possible, for such a do-gooder to...
- "They speak against depravity and yokai yet march with the very same. That is what you should realise-- it's a wasted effort."
- Vicious, renewed malevolence circles the necromancer in the form of a black wind once more. His acquired staff is waved, manifesting embers of shadowflame at his feet... a low stance taken in preparation to soar aggressively at Thom.
- No more words need be said, not yet.

- [17:00:48] Dead.
- The look in Thom's eyes would be one similar to a dead man in how dazed they were. The undead swarmed him, the fire burned him, illusions blinded him.. And yet throughout the tempest he stood, and he walked and ran. Lighting, arrows of flame, all sorts of things collided against the body of the unknown assilant, and in the end.. Thom was barely able to stand undeafeated.
- A golden gaze downards towards the body of the boy as his hand slowly lowered to the hood, flicking it off. The golden eyes would look into the farmilar face of Ramia hirano. A blink or two of suprise before the orange haired youth would responded to the words he spoke previously.
- "A salvageage hypocrite is better then believing in nothing at all, Ramia. Maybe when Dumuzid falls I'll leave or something but.. For now I just don't want the people I know to get hurt.. I don't want Cinderfall to be destroyed. Fighting for that goal.. ITs enough for me. Maybe it is just a wasted effort in the end but..
- Why do I have to care if its wasted? Just because one doesn't care does it mean something isn't worth doing?" With that said Thom would leave the boy, not bothering to pursue him to the death or without true desire to. "Don't let anyone else know you fought here. I imagine it would be difficult if the entire country wanted your head."

- [17:13:36] At a critical moment, he errs.
- He's taken by surprise, his own agility not quite able to match instant translocation-- he's caught unawares, merely a flimsy barrier raised as lightning and fire engulf him. It cracks and shatters completely despite his effort to maintain it, the remnant insufficient to slay him.
- It ruins his mask though, Occultism used against him sapping away at what energy he had left to continue fighting. He's brought to his knees as his retinue were reduced to but blackened and scattered bones, vulnerable enough for his identify to be revealed with but a hard tug of his hood.
- Exhausted, Ramia Hirano still has the will to glare at him-- this orange-headed buffoon had bested a born Occultist? One of a royal line, even... it was utterly humilitating and if anything worse than merely the physical pain of defeat.
- He isn't immediately executed, but treated to a fate perhaps worse than death.
- Preaching he couldn't argue with without appearing bitter.
- As the man leaves, he turns to look over his shoulder at the departing back-- restrained a moment, before calling out in anger. "How is an idiot like you this strong!?" He gradually lifts himself up with some difficulty, standing straight as he can but unable to fight on.
- "I won't accept it." The horned teen growls, casting his borrowed wooden staff to the ground and balling his fists-- storming off in a tantrum, and obviously no longer intent on staying on the battlefield.
