  1. Stray Shot, on the outer edge of town, finishes pinning a paper target to a haybell. It was quite dark, but at least that would help him focus more. He turns around from the target and trots about 10 meters away before drawing his slung, brand shiney new repeating crossbow! He sits on his haunches and brings the weapon to shoulder, aiming down the sights and steadying his breath as he slowly pulls the trigger bar backwards, the crossbow soon flinging the bolt towards the target at verrrrrrryy fast sped.
  2.
  3. Stray Shot watches with a satisfied grin as the bolt hits pretty close to the center of the target. Not a bad start at all.
  4.
  5. Stray works the crank of the repeating crossbow with his right hoof, the well-oiled machine loading another bolt from the magazine into place. Inhaling slowly, he touches off another bolt with the flick of his hoof
  6.
  7. The shot goes far left, Stray's jerky trigger pull making the muzzle turn slightly at the moment the bolt was fired. The stallion cracks the lever again, loading another round before setting up for his next shot.
  8.
  9. Stray misses the target again, the bolt going into the haybell. He grunts to himself, taking a deep breath to steady himself so he would hopefully not miss the next one. He carefully squeezes the trigger bar until the bolt is fired off.
  10.
  11. This one hits right next to the bullseye, touching the line.
  12.
  13. Stray does this shit for a long time and starts to get better! The end.
