  8. Rigor Mortis was a young Tuffle living in the underground city of Atlantis. From the time he was a young boy his fellow Tuffles would look down upon Mortis due to his lack of talent when it came to Science, and Mathematics. At one point in his life, the young Tuffle became a very power hungry person. Someone who had only wanted to better themselves to make the ones around him look inferior, as he would feel and look at every second of his life since birth. The young Tuffle was very angry, and very ambitious. By the time the Tuffle became a pre-teen, he had started to record everything he had seen that had intrigued him into a small journal that seemed to have endless pages. It were passed down to him when his mother had passed away. Rigor Mortis lost his family to a rogue Saiyan who had invaded Atlantis when he was around 10 years old. The young Mortis had witnessed the Saiyan rampage throughout Atlantis blasting holes through all the Tuffle he could find. The final Tuffle being Mortis' parents.

  10. While the Saiyan had been rampaging throughout his city, Mortis had prepared for the inevitable. He had stolen his fathers' rifle and dismantled it swiftly. While piecing it back together he had placed a small yellow chip into the hardware of the energy gun causing the gun to fire on his command. As the Saiyan was about to slay him as well as his parents, suddenly a loud booming from the energy rifle blew out Mortis' right ear permanently leaving it slightly deafened. As he looked up with his hands over his ears he would notice a large hole in the center of the Saiyans chest. The Saiyan would then drop to his knees looking blankly into the eyes of Mortis as he gasp his last breath and fall face first onto the floor. Mortis' ingenuity had saved his life, and his alone. He then noticed that he had nothing else to fear and ran to his parents side. What he was not prepared for was his Father to be dead when he had recovered, After letting the moment sink in he began dragging his fathers' lifeless body to be beside his mother. "Father.. Mother..." He says as his mother notices what Mortis had done. She would then reach into her pocket with shaky hands and tears in her eyes. After seconds of waiting that seemed like years his mother would pull out a small book reading "Journal of Mortis." The final time Mortis had seen his mother's eye full of life was the slim moment that she had handed him the book. Her hand would slowly fall from the book leaving blood stains on the cover which will to this day be seen as a dark coloration on the leather bindings and cover.
  11. After that dreadful day Mortis vowed to never be weak again, and to never let someone catch him off guard. He would never come to love another as he feared them being taken. Years pass and Mortis had become a great scientist. One of Extraordinary calibur. The secrets to his knowledge were not only that of his bloodline, but the Journal itself. This journal had been infused with Ki, making it to where any information written in the book would instantly convert into permanent knowledge in the chosen wielders' mind. The book would only be activated by those who belong to the Mortis bloodline.
  12. In order for Mortis to have become the scientist he is today, It was required that he join the Saiyans. The race he despised the most. Working for the Saiyans had given Mortis his chance to shine. As he were the only Scientist to be associated with such unintelligent beings, He would amaze the Saiyans with every single piece of technology he had created. Each being far more advanced than the last. The Tuffle had obtained this knowledge from not only the book he had obtained from his mother, but also from his own studying. When the Journal of Mortis was handed to him all the knowledge of his ancestors was bestowed upon him, but there was still much more to be learned. If he had not filled the books endless pages more he would disgrace not only his ancestors but his parents who had been the keepers of the book prior. In order to keep pride in the Mortis bloodline and redeem himself from his previous ways of unintelligence he would study for days at a time never leaving his laboratory even to buy food until he absolutely needed it. By the time the Tuffle had reached adulthood none of the others of his kind could keep up with his intelligence, making the discrimination against him proceed further. As smart and renowned of a scientist He was his kind would still hate him. Now a man, Mortis cared not for such irrelevant things. He had far more important matter to take care of. And a bloodline to bring honor to.
