- Theme plays.
- Start with Twin at some local hardware store, perhaps. He's off to go buy the newest and best in computer and art technology, a new computer called the Update Terminal. (Possibly have one of the Sadie/Lars TB combo work part time here?)
- The store has either sold out, or did not get enough shipments. Disappointed, Twin returns home. Therein, he finds that a corrupted Cobalt has spread their vile seed throughout the place, and that the CGs are fighting it.
- Entering the house, Twin gets attacked by a cobaltipeetle child, which is quickly slain. Enter the Crystal Gems, who remove the cobaltipeetle children from the premises via death. (Definitely include the Pearl -> Charoite cobaltipeetle casual neck snap. That's so in-character, fucking hell.) Twin tells them about the Update Terminal, and they show him a brand new one in his room. Which they stole. (Charoite went back to pay for it, probably?)
- The euphoria from the activation of the computer summons Twin's sword for the first time, it disappears. Next comes the weapon montage, and such. Everything proceeds as the original episode suggests from here, honestly. Tanzanite would definitely get an actual gravestone for the burial of the Update Terminal, though. Clearly.
