  17. About this rip
  18. --------------
  19.
  20. Raw WAV files originally posted on Final Fantasy Shrine <http://ffshrine.org/>
  21. by robotortoise1, then converted to FLAC and tagged by dada78641 with help
  22. from others.
  23.
  24. Not all of the music is present, unfortunately. This soundtrack is based on
  25. whatever could be ripped directly from the decrypted ROM data, so streamed
  26. tracks (like KK's music) are not included. We hope to make a new release
  27. someday that includes these. This is also why the museum music is so plain,
  28. since each room has an extra piece of music overlaid on top of it which we
  29. could not rip.
  30.
  31. Some tracks were spliced together. For example, when you go to the commercial
  32. area, there's a short intro followed by the main part that loops. This
  33. and a number of other tracks were put in one file since they're always
  34. heard in sequence anyway.
  35.
  36. All tracks are FLAC L8 or MP3 V0 and tagged to the best of our ability. We know that
  37. Kazumi Totaka, Manaka Kataoka, and Atsuko Asahi were the composers for the
  38. game, but we don't know who composed which song, so they're all credited
  39. for each track.
  40.
  41. The second museum aquarium track appears to be unused. Only the first track
  42. plays when you walk around in any of the aquarium rooms.
  43.
  44. If you have suggestions or fixes, mail them to dada78641 <dada@tomatoland.org>.
