  1. In this scene, Uri takes witness to the arrest of his student, Caila after she ventured to Osrona to try and have word with the King... He had no doubts in her strength, but, when he watched the fight, it seemed like many others were ready to fight after Nebula...This was something Uri would not sit with, he would have it only be himself to fight his dear student, but alas, due to Kingdom Priority rules, he was not able to... However, a peaceful arrangement followed before another fight could begin... Uri however, remained cautious, ready to fight anyone who tried anything against his student that would prevent her from a safe flee of the kingdom despite her actions of attempting to obtain peace.
  2.
  3.
  4. [09:37] Uri Sanctum says, "Hm, maybe I'll know once I dive into rune-writing."
  5. [09:37] Sanna Arborea says, "Perhaps."
  6. [09:39] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Alright!"
  7. [09:39] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Stocks are set today!"
  8. [09:40] Uri Sanctum says, "So this is where everyone was..."
  9. [09:40] Sanna Arborea says, "Seems so."
  10. [09:41] Alexander stares, a hard gaze that sits on this woman.
  11.
  12. "Talk to me of, what? I do not think you understand the situation we're in. I already had a letter relayed to Alya and she made it clear. She wants war no matter what."
  13. (Alexander rei Petrakis)
  14. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15.
  16. [09:44] Uri looks into the arena... He came in with a smile, hopeful of today to be one that would bring either good fortune or good news to all. That's when he stumbled upon a surprise, seeing the face of his student, and the King speaking to one another.
  17.
  18. "Caila?" he asked his little moon walker in question. Hearing the words of their King and approaching the situation himself. "My, you've grown since the last time I've trained you, though, still a protector of the people, yes?" He asked with excitement to see his student.
  19.
  20. "Pardon me though, I'm not sure, what it is I've walked into here."
  21. (Uri Sanctum)
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23.
  24. [09:45] Aimlessly wandering through the Glimmering City's streets. Why'd it always seem like Arch stumbled upon Caila bumbling their way into trouble? The man glared at the Drakanite - "Long way from home, Little Kriemhild." Appearing rather irritated given the already touchy political situation-...
  25.
  26. "An arrest, I'd imagine." A response to Uri's inquiry. "King Alexander, yes? Who'd you relay the letter to? I frequently Theria on message runs and haven't seen Alya fer' quite some time-..." Rinn's outburst at Ophelia aside.
  27. (Arch)
  28. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  29.
  30. [09:46] Alexander rei Petrakis asks, "You do not just ask, King Alexander. The diplomatic issues are mine to handle. Who even are you?"
  31. [09:47] Arch says, "Messenger. Former citizen of Theria who often noticed the fragmented leadership-..."
  32. [09:54] Honestly Caila wasn't surprised about the Queen's actions or demeanor on the matter. Nebula didn't know Caila at all. This was expected... sadly enough. Turning her attention to the Queen.
  33.
  34. "I am here to help. I don't see why you have reason to collar me. And if I recall the last time I was here my hands were restrained I was not collared." She turned to Alexander at the correction. "His procedures made more sense than anything. Everything I've seen from him has been something I could respect and follow without question." A sigh as she continued. "The last time I was here you didn't question what I had to speak about you just cuffed my hands brought me to prison and heard me out from there.. the entire story, you allowed me to explain everything so you could discern it for yourself." She lowered her head as her brow furrowed. Her sister always told her about talking first before acting yet the actions she has seendidn't make sense nor did she want to follow them anymore.
  35.
  36. "I want to fight with Osrona, maybe that way my sister will see the wrongs that I've come to find out. It's not right." Turning to Uri.
  37.
  38. "Hey, I have and I've grown with a mind that things are not making sense. I still only strive to protect those I care for and what I believe in. Yeah.. it's why I keep coming back here hoping they will listen to me." She shook her head turning to Arch. "Hey Arch, I am a long way from home... but for Theria's sake it's best that I am here. My sister won't listen to me and Rinn has given up whatever will she had left when Yani died to the Occultist that keep roaming around..." The thought of him.. killing more and more was upsetting...
  39. (Caila Kriemhild)
  40. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  41.
  42. [09:58] Blinkly wildly. "Huh." Shaking his head. "Thennnnn, I can't say I care anymore if this is what yer' doing." Completely detaching himself from the situation.
  43. (Arch)
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45.
  46. [10:02] "Then and now are different."
  47.
  48. The Royal Retainer interjects quietly, voice cold, sharp - keen like the edge of the crystalline figments that whipped about his figure. Those eyes of his never shift from the figure of Caila, so bold and casual in her approach.
  49.
  50. Stupidity as always.
  51.
  52. There is a step forth to join his King, though he lingers a few paces behind always. To stand aside him direct was above the Keepers station.
  53.
  54. "The mercy of then is not the mercy of now. We are in the midst of war. Please do not trouble the His and Her Majesty with your insolence any longer. A comprehensive discussion regarding your commitments to this quisling lifestyle can take place within the confines of the prison, with hands bound and neck collared.
  55.
  56. As Her Majesty has told you. This matter is non-negotiable, you understand?"
  57. (Sethon)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59.
  60. [10:04] Mariaan was there, though she had all the authority of a house fly. Those that she was comfortable speaking to weren't around and Sethon was present, being intimidating as usual.
  61.
  62. She glanced from figure to figure, shaking her head. To the alchemist it was clear that powerful magi liked to have their egos stroked... co-operation was not going to come from anything else.
  63.
  64. Perhaps that was their intention. She twirled her hair and listened.
  65. (Mariaan)
  66. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  67.
  68. [10:08] The Petrakis King nods.
  69.
  70. "It is as the Queen says. You wish to fight with Osrona but we have no proof. And if you do fight with Osrona, are you still going to frequent Theria? Things get messy when loyalty is called into question," Alexander says.
  71.
  72. "You will be collared and placed in prison and we can work from there. I do not know why you did not just ask to join us originally instead of continuing to come back."
  73. (Alexander rei Petrakis)
  74. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  75.
  76. [10:15] Uri would move to stand in the middle of all this. She was his student after all, much like a younger sister to him if anything, and most of all, his responsibility... He looks between the figures of the room as he spoke, "If I may.... Caila, is loyal to the people, I can vouch for this as it as the path I've guided her to walk upon, doing what must be done, to protect the innocent... So for her actions, I know there's a reason, and, no need for a collar."
  77.
  78. He looks to Caila, "I know that if she truly wished, she could fight, but, she's always been a good soul... So, I will sit with her, in that prison to keep her company... " He spoke with a calm tone, for he would not have Caila suffer any in-justice, the same as he's done for Erehn and all of those upon his crew... He knew there were a few within Osrona who were ready to kill anything at the first opportunity they got... Those were the people Uri personally hated, for it painted only a bad image on the face of their beloved town.
  79.
  80. He places a hand onto Caila's shoulder. "I'll never let you be alone, little dancer," he spoke as the protective figure he was.
  81.
  82. "I am aware of the law. You know the rules, and so do I," he spoke for those who had malice within their intent.
  83.
  84. Only to Nebula and Alexander would he give a smile, had they understood the reason behind his actions.
  85. (Uri Sanctum)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [10:18] "It is not a matter of question or suggestion. It is an order. One we've stated more than necessary."
  89.
  90. The Queen's golden eyes fall upon Uri, her gaze gold and judging. "The advice is not necessary, nor is vouching for her. The treatment we're offering her would be the same we'd offer to anyone else. She will not be harmed." And if what she was saying was true - then there was no problem with her speaking with people behind the bars of a prison cell.
  91.
  92. "Now, Caila. Make this easy for us, please. Are you willing to wear this collar or does someone need to put it on you?"
  93.
  94. A simple question is addressed to the woman when Nebula's eyes drift back towards her.
  95. (Nebula rei Petrakis)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [10:22] Uncanny timing. That's what Kofe always had. Entering the dojo at a rather odd time he came upon a gathering around Caila. It probably meant the woman was in some sort of trouble, didn't it? For her to be this deep in Osronan territory only left to wonder what would happen next.
  99.
  100. For now, the young man remained silent - observing the situation at hand.
  101. (Kofe)
  102. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  103.
  104. [10:28] Looking to Alexander with a saddened expression. It seemed they had no faith or trust in her after everything that's happened. Literally none. Tears came to her eyes as she heard everything going on. She shook her head. Wiping away at her face as she turned her back to Alexander and Nebula.
  105.
  106. "I'm not wearing a collar when I know and others know who I am and what I've done. If Pericles was here. He would listen..." Caila had made a choice hoping they would listen and instead they just wanted to collar her. Even if she would help. Even if she wanted to fix all the wrongs that were done. She had literally never fought in any war. Yet.. all this distrust because of others.
  107.
  108. Depressing...
  109.
  110. "I'm going to leave here in hopes I can fix this on my own another way... I wish you all the best.. but if you stop me I'll have to be forced to fight my way out."
  111.
  112. Caila would turn and run away fleeing fromthe scene. Unless stopped, then she would fight her way free.
  113. (Caila Kriemhild)
  114. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  115.
  116. [10:28] Roll.
  117. (Caila Kriemhild)
  118. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  119.
  120. [10:28] attempt
  121. (Nebula rei Petrakis)
  122. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  123.
  124. [10:32] Ah.
  125.
  126. Perhaps that's why his body brought him there at that time. There was a certain palpable sadness in the air, a feeling of betrayal, even if nothing had been promised. The tides of war raged on at their utmost capacity, and without a way to properly showcase he desires to speak, Caila had been left with no choice but to attempt to...
  127.
  128. ... slowly run. Ouch.
  129.
  130. It wasn't his place to get in Nebula's way at that moment, that much was obvious. Kofe could feel the tension of a fight when it came, and this one wasn't his.
  131.
  132. He'd wait for the resolution before speaking his mind, naturally.
  133.
  134. A good fight was always worth watching after all.
  135. (Kofe)
  136. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  137.
  138. [10:35] "This is your decision, Caila. You have been warned and advised against it. Choosing to leave is admitting that you have something to be afraid of. That there's a reason for you to doubt our intentions - just as we doubt yours."
  139.
  140. In a gruesome manner and what could possibly be described as the least royal image one could expect from the Queen - Nebula retrieves an arrow to make an incision on both of her wrists, blood beginning to flow from her wounds freely. The scent of copper fills the dojo as vines burrow through the wooden tiles, making their approach known.
  141.
  142. "Stand down now, and we will all put this aside when you're placed in a cell - we'll still talk about what you came here to discuss."
  143.
  144. However, the Drakanite opts to run instead.
  145.
  146. An arrow of blood shoots at the Kriemhild - the beginning of a fight.
  147. (Nebula rei Petrakis)
  148. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  149.
  150. [10:36] After a brief scramble throughout greater Osrona, Armondt eventually comes to the realization that the Dojo usually houses the most souls at any given time. The deputy clambers in, a missive in hand, and then... there appears to be a kerfuffle here. His pace slows significantly, and he winds up having to just walk towards his superior, keeping at arm's length with the ongoing fracas.
  151. (Armondt)
  152. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  153.
  154. [10:36] Like the Captain he was... He stood by, like the mentor he was, he listened and observed the actions of his old student... Watching as she made her attempt to flee... And he would do nothing, for he wanted her to be safe, it was hard enough, hearing that she would have to wear a collar...
  155.
  156. 'Dammit...' he thought to himself as Nebula would chase, being faster with a sudden burst of speed for whatever it is that she may do. He would stand by, worried for her, wondering, if he would have to step in, if things got out of hand... "Caila," he whispered her name, clinching his fist, waiting for the outcome of the issue before him.
  157.
  158. He didn't want her to fall, he knew it might've been wrong to flee, but even he knew how terrifying it could be, wearing one of those collars, how those prisoners of war felt... Now, those within the Kingdom he loved, went beyond reasonable means of interrogation. But, who could he blame? For the times of war were upon them...
  159.
  160. Who was more important? The lives of innocence? Or was pride and honor more important? Were all morals simply thrown out of the window?
  161.
  162. All he could do, was observe for now and hope, that things did not end in blood...Despite the fight being one of blood from the blood magi. He couldn't help but worry for Caila just as he couldn't help but understand her caution or fear for being collared.
  163. (Uri Sanctum)
  164. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  165.
  166. [10:36] Arch whispers something.
  167. [10:40] Arch whispers something.
  168. [10:41] Armondt asks, "Guess I'll ask while folk are here, but... any of ya'll seen Lloyd around town today?"
  169. [10:41] Arch whispers something.
  170. [10:42] Arch whispers something.
  171. [10:42] Mariaan's lips pursed as the scene escalated. She knew well to fear those collars, she knew what it was like to not be trusted... even if there was reasonable cause, it was something painful. Magi weren't used to being treated like common criminals.
  172.
  173. She followed along with the chase. There wasn't any chance of getting involved, not with both members of royalty here...
  174. (Mariaan)
  175. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  176.
  177. [10:46] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "!!"
  178. [10:48] Uri stares at the fire wings made by the young drakanite... Uri would smile ever so slightly, proud to see his little moon walker ascend to such flames... The fruits of her own volition, and here... He got to see them in action, to see the flames burn upon soil, but... Would it be enough is what he wondered... Was she holding back as he has? He wondered, what Caila planned for at this certain point of battle, and if she would make her escape if anything... Her very image, reminded him of a dream he had long ago... He hopes she takes flight just as that knight did...For the people, by the people, majestic like an eagle.
  179. (Uri Sanctum)
  180. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  181. [11:27] As the battle had started started on her departure Queen Nebula had fired off an arrow directly at her. Due to now really having much relaxes and her back was turned she had got hit by it. Turning around immediately to direct injury at her person.. she didn't want conflict nor did she want to fight the Queen.. but so be it. This had been something she wished to prevent but people never listen to the young because they lack experience.
  182.
  183. Now was time for action...
  184.
  185. At first she called forth her blessings and let her staff guide her drive forward. Manifesting Magma waves to get rid of her conjured vines and tree of rejuvenation she would try and set all of it a flame. Burning down the hindrances as spores and the like bombarded her scales. The very foundation of her visage assaulted by blood from the Queens Magic as well as her own body seeing as how her wrists had been cut open. Seeing the display of self harm for Magical purposes was something she never expected of Royalty but in the means of combat.
  186.
  187. Anything goes...
  188.
  189. With that her body would be assault by an overwhelming force of Blood Magic. Shockwaves of an explosive force of Blood pushing her aside like she was a fly. Darts pelting at her frame as Caila had fallen.. during the first round. She then willed herself up. Refusing to give in to the overwhelming force that stopped her. She had to get out.. if she were to fall before helping everyone and stopping the coming war, what good was she..? She had to persevere and fight onward.
  190.
  191. Caila then allowed herself to get up once more. Flexing her shoulder blades as her eyes narrowed.
  192.
  193. "I will not fall here. Flames shall guide me forward... even now." She closed her eyes gripping the Heat Rock she had recieved from Kyldre the Air Dragon of the Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Her Magma winged erupted into pure Flame. The absolute definition if not outright pinnacle of Fire Magic itself.
  194.
  195. A Glorious Inferno.
  196.
  197. "I'm sorry to everyone here.. but I must push on to help you even if it means fighting you in the process." Caila then made her way to Nebula wings beating in full stride. Everyone else around in the Dojo didn't matter at this current time. She had to fight for her freedom now more than ever. If she would fall here.. Everything would be lost and she would never forgive herself. Caila then manifested a miniature Volcano within the Dojo without the consideration of those present it would erupt and send of shots of Magma throughout the Dojo's confides leveling the Dojo's mat and floor with waves of Magma and more. As she snapped her fingers in the charred grounds manifesting her own Vines and Flora alike over the destruction she was causing.
  198.
  199. More so as when Death is seen, Life is created.. she would use her control over Nature Magic to send forth her own barrage of spores. Keeping herself sustained through her own means of the same Magic, the rejuvenating tree of life to further revitalize her being. As it came down to the very end.. both her and Nebula seemed to be exhausted from the prolonged fight. Straining their Mana to the brink. Caila had one option left.. she held the Heat Rock once more... as Kyldre had told her.
  200.
  201. 'A rock utilized by most dragons to keep themselves warm, even if they’re capable of conjuring the most powerful fire magic known to mankind.'
  202.
  203. She would clasp both her palms before dashing within range of Nebula focusing deep within herself. Caila would close her eyes briefly and utter a small phrase she has said thus far in her life. "Let Flame Guide Me." She has seen Sythaeryn use this technique once before on an expedition and now she would attempt to use it here to end this fight. As her eyes opened she would send forth a roaring wave wider than normal of pure Magma into Nebula's frame. Crashing down upon her as it dissipated and left nothing but charred grounds and smoke in it's wake she was downed and knocked out from the overwhelming heat and pressure that was applied.
  204.
  205. Turning her attention to Alexander and the rest she shook her head as Nebula lay before her. "I'm sorry for how this came about but I'm sure you won't be allowing me to leave either way.. especially not now. If you wont stop this war I'm going to have to take this into my own hands..." With that she looked towards the fallen Queen. Caila in her exhausted state would attempt to pick her up and carry her off as a captive in hopes to end this insanity. She would then attempt to flee once more from the Dojo and Osrona's grounds.
  206.
  207.
  208. (Caila Kriemhild)
  209. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  210.
  211. [11:28] Roll.
  212. (Caila Kriemhild)
  213. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  214.
  215. [11:39] It almost felt like they were fighting for hours. In reality... The battle between the two nature magis lasts only for a couple of minutes, with Nebula coming ontop once and pushing further in - to hopefully capture the Drakanite, and the Drakanite shaping fire into a pair of additional, fiery wings that grant them the edge in their fight.
  216.
  217. They are both whittled down, slowly but surely.
  218.
  219. .. So much for always coming here peacefully. She might have not thrown the first punch, but Caila was just as willing to fight - just as the Queen had expected. She did not trust Drakanites. Not her, not those who proclaimed they would fight for Osrona as well, and certainly not those who begged for a war to stop only to join another.
  220.
  221. Trust was a thing you had to earn.
  222.
  223. By the end of it all, she is beaten and on the ground-- blood spilling from the corner of her lips along with the blood that spilled from the wounds on her wrists. She murmurs somethingquietly, perhaps to herself - perhaps to the Drakanite. A prayer for the stars, maybe.
  224.
  225. "Insanity?"
  226.
  227. "You demand an audience with my husband and claim you want to stop this war - but you want to make me your prisoner. You've been told not to return to our city - and you've done so time after time. How could you possibly speak about aiding us?"
  228.
  229. Her hand is raised, reaching to her lips. The blood that spilled there is collected by one of her digits.
  230.
  231. "Release me and you will have your conversation. If you've wanted to kill me... Then you would have tried to do so, but you did not. So take my word now and stop this nonsense."
  232.
  233. Her eyes lock with those of the Drakanite.
  234.
  235. "Any other action digs a grave for us both, Caila."
  236.
  237. She remains fearless despite the loss.
  238. (Nebula rei Petrakis)
  239. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  240.
  241. [11:41] Uri watched as the flames upon Caila would shine brightly. The fight was very close, so much so that the two were very even in power and strategy, neck and neck, but ultimately, it all came down to Caila's victory... Something Uri could be both proud of and...Concerned with considering her intentions...
  242.
  243. Uri, had been planning since the start of this fight, to see the strength of his student, but to also make sure, that no one here got captured in any way.. Uri's main focus was the safety of those around him. Even if it meant fighting Caila to stop her from making a big mistake. He didn't want to see her on the bounty poster not when there were many out there willing to take heads without any question.
  244.
  245. "Caila! You don't know what you're doing!" He shouts, trying to make his way on over to the scene to interrupt this flee... He knew that if it wouldn't be him, then another would follow and then another after that, right until she would be captured... Uri knew the risk he was taking for this all happened at the heat of the moment.
  246.
  247. He watched as his little dancer brought injury upon the Queen... Though it was probably not truly intentional, Uri knew exactly what it looked like to the eyes of those around him..Tragedy, and the crime of the century... This had to be stopped, it had to be through his hand or...Alexanders... For it was his wife after all, Nebula...
  248.
  249. "Please, everyone... Search beyond your feelings, seek reason," this was what Uri announced as he made this attempt to break things up.. Ultimately, it'd likely fall upon Alexander. These were the rules of their world and so, the Captain would follow them without knowing such.
  250. (Uri Sanctum)
  251. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  252.
  253. 11:42] Alexander rei Petrakis watches with a steady gaze, eyes ever on his wife. And then, she falls..
  254.
  255. The King of Esshar finds anger, frustration but it only grows when volcanic ash rises up from the ground. The dojo floor splits and undergoes a metamorphosis. Volcanoes rages and magma splits through the dojo, rolling over the matt and floor.
  256.
  257. Vines and flora withers around.
  258.
  259. Caila sought to leave and the King of Esshar is forward in a heartbeat, time stops and his blade unsheathes with the clear glow of cosmic energies. Intertwining all the way down to the very tip.
  260.
  261. "Leave Nebula and I will grant you this conversation. Now is your chance to prove that you want to fight for Osrona. To help stop this war. All you have to do is hand back my wife."
  262.
  263. Last words, giving the drakanite a chance to make amends but if she sought to continue to flee, then Alexander would have no choice but to pursue.
  264. (Alexander rei Petrakis)
  265. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  266.
  267. [11:44] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "Make the right choice, Caila."
  268. [11:45] Uri Sanctum says, "Please Cai... "
  269. [11:47] A battle of wills, and a victory seized by an inch -
  270.
  271. It is not until the intent of the Drakanite is known that Keeper and Retainer barrels into motion, keen crystalline blades whipped and wound harshly about his figure, physique taut and braced to streak into motion.
  272.
  273. With stave drawn and arcana at his command, he holds ready to take pursuit should the Kings pleas fall on deaf ears.
  274.
  275. The air swelters beneath the weight of apprehension, as all eyes befall Caila in search of her decision.
  276.
  277. (Sethon)
  278.
  279. [12:03] As the battle was over and... things seemed to shift in a different direction it seemed the Queen had not been knocked out but instead just captured. As a shift in emotion was taken. Caila didn't want to hurt anyone but she wanted to end this war. Words of Alexander ringed throughout her mind.
  280.
  281. "Leaving Queen Nebula here so you can speak with me now... because I have her captured.. I will.. not. I've made up my mind to help try and stop this war. I cannot." She shook her head she didn't want this... to many clouded thoughts. Her till to push through this was strong enough to hold her ground on this issue... she wanted it all to stop. This is what she wanted more than anything in this world.
  282.
  283. Theria and the poeple of Osrona she cared about to be out of harms way. Pericles died.. Yani died... people were getting hurt. Nothing... was clear anymore. Except what she had to do now.
  284.
  285. She turned to Alexander as she spoke her final words on the issue.
  286.
  287. "I'm sorry.. I cannot do that. Nothing will happen to her I put that on my very life she'll return to you. Unharmed.. but not until this war is over. If I had to fight my own family to make them stop. I will. I'm not going to sit by and watch people die anymore. I won't." She shook her head once more.
  288.
  289. "She's coming with me... I hope you'll forgive me for this."
  290.
  291. Caila had made her choice.
  292. (Caila Kriemhild)
  293. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  294.
  295. [12:08] A sigh leaves his lips.
  296.
  297. Alexander rei Petrakis keeps eyes on Calia, not quite understanding there reasoning for all of this. To further insult Osrona. To make the war between Osrona and Theria that much more personal.
  298.
  299. The King of Esshar stares silent, and then, moves on. The choice was made, and in turn, Alexander's blade becomes enamoured in cosmic fury that streaks all the way through the mithril of his blade.
  300.
  301. "No. She is not. She is staying with me," and with that, time rifts the area a part and while the drakanite might be able to soar and use magma and nature, Alexander controlled the flow of time. In a heartbeat he is forward, hand outstretches for Caila's face and with a frightening show of all of the strength in his body, he swings to slam her face first into the ground. The fight was off to a soaring start.
  302. (Alexander rei Petrakis)
  303. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  304.
  305. [12:10] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "I will fight for her no matter what. If you really want to leave her unharmed, then let her go now."
  306. [12:11] If anyone was to write a book on how to piss people off, it would be Caila. As if predetermined to cause panic and disaster wherever she went, the drakanite could not fly further from her dreams of co operation. Mariaan sighed.
  307.
  308. She'd stay close to the priest that was meant to be guarding her but had not acknowledged her once ever.
  309. (Mariaan)
  310. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  311.
  312. [12:12] Uri tried to step forward, but again. He was out sped by Alexander... It would be poetic this way, for the husband to try and save his wife. Whilst Uri would only try to break the fighting apart, to intervene only if he was allowed to do such... "Caila…" He said to himself while reaching out to her...
  313.
  314. Because what could he do? His student was making the choice of the century, something he couldn't truly stop like this. Nothing he could truly prevent unless he were to fight everyone around him, to assure that nothing happened to both Nebula or Caila… Exhausting, the idea was, but the young Captain made his move if only he were allowed to do so.
  315.
  316. For now, only fate would decide what could happen from this point on... Be it by the Kings blade, or through Uri's fist... There would likely be another fight here. "Caila… Let us speak... Let this be a talk where our blades aren't drawn... " He sighs... "Do not deal in absolutes, but for the innocents to stay safe from any further action... I'll do what I must, if fate permits this prayer," said the young Captain.
  317. (Uri Sanctum)
  318. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  319.
  320. [12:22] Her emotions constantly in flux she didn't know if this now was the right choice... or the wrong choice... either way she didn't want anyone hurt. But literally no one aside from Uri seemed to figure that out about her from those present.
  321.
  322. The aftermath of the battle decided.. the young Drakanite exhausted and her mind being bombarded by a constant shift in emotion. Genuine feelings... of truth behind their words prior but why was it always to be decided by those who nothing but violence and laws as means to act.. from her Friends and Family to those of Osrona.
  323.
  324. She would.. leave Queen Nebula with King Alexander. She would find another way to help..
  325.
  326. Turning to everyone again.. labored breaths and a saddened expression upon her features she didn't want this anymore.. it was wrong. "Please just take her.. I'm sorry and I hope you'll forgive me for what I've done. I just want everyone happy again.. I don't want to be hated by every single person in the world." Caila would hand back Queen Nebula to King Alexander unless she would walk on her own and then leave the Dojo and Osrona's grounds there after.
  327. (Caila Kriemhild)
  328. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  329.
  330. [12:25] Cetta happily skips past the scene unaware of what is transpiring, and she prefers it that way!
  331. (Cetta Amor)
  332. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  333.
  334. [12:28] Sanna nodded and breathed easier as the queen was released. She'd watched the proceedings with a mixture of disappointment and anger at those involved until this point. Caila making seemingly all the wrong choices, ignoring consequences for her actions, taking actions that would only make consequences worse and doing all of it in the name of peace. Sanna and Caila were perhaps more alike than the drakanite might know.
  335.
  336. Offering to let Caila off the hook for giving the queen back. An understandable option in the circumstance but one that left the taste of bile in her mouth. Sanna had never hurt anyone, she'd been collared for nearly three years. She had deserved to be collared but when someone attacks the queen and makes moves to kidnap them their sentence is redacted. The powerful are protected, the weak are stomped upon. Exactly like Theria.
  337.
  338. Still. Caila decided to release the queen after all the fighting. She was still smarter than Sanna had been at her weakest. Finally, maybe sense would reign.
  339. (Sanna Arborea)
  340. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  341.
  342. [12:32] She is to be taken, according to the Drakanite.
  343.
  344. But Alexander refuses to let Nebula go - just as she'd refuse to let him go if they were in opposite roles. It's funny-- all she can think about, even now... When a looming sword dances above her head and threatens her life, is their idiotic fight the other day. The fact she couldn't even stand to look at him and that she wanted to stay outside of the castle.
  345.
  346. Was she regretting things now? While she still has the time?
  347.
  348. Her breaths are deep, her eyes refusing to drift away from the expression of her captor - the Drakanite.
  349.
  350. "..I won't forgive you, Caila. What you did here today-- threatening my life..."
  351.
  352. "It is a crime. And one that will be answered. If not by me, then by someone else. If not by someone from Osrona, then by the stars themselves."
  353.
  354. It's a promise.
  355.
  356. "..But you wanted a conversation, and I am a woman of my word. Stay. We will talk without a collar and discuss whatever it is that you came here for. And after that-- you will not return without sending a letter first."
  357.
  358. It seemed like the offer was still on the table.
  359.
  360. Nebula raises to a stand now, using her husband for support. She waited for the response of the Drakanite.
  361. (Nebula rei Petrakis)
  362. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  363.
  364. [12:32] Alexander unfortunately lacks somewhere along the lines. Either not holding enough skill in battling his first drakanite or lacking in power. Every swing seems to hold not enough power, and his movements lack in the grace that time magic affords him.
  365.
  366. He jitters forward, seeking purchase once more upon Caila's frame and yet, waves of magma come cascading down, covering him and sending him through the grassy plains.
  367.
  368. The King groans, blade stabbed into the grass. Too slow.. too weak. And yet, Nebula is returned and in a blitz of speed, despite the loss, Alexander moves to catch her, time magics immediately taking hold of her frame. The wounds on her wrist reverse and close up, and then the loud ticking of a clock as her other injuries -- the bruises and burns that marr Nebula's legs start to soften. The Petrakis lowers her to the untouched ground of the dojo floor. Where there was no volcanic ash, no vines and starts to tend to her injuries.
  369.
  370. He was stunned, and as the drakanite leaves, a glance is shot to her.
  371.
  372. "Why wait to return her? Why don't you stay and talk?" Confusion took hold, but the King of Esshar doubted an answer return and instead, he continues tending to Nebula. Wrapping her legs in bandages while his own face furrowed. Eventually Nebula is brought to a stand, help offered.
  373. (Alexander rei Petrakis)
  374. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  375.
  376. [12:34] Flames filled the arena with that of the cosmic energy emitting from Alexander... Uri watched carefully as their fight went on and eventually leading to Caila's secondary victory of the day... His little dancer, his dragonlord of a student had succeeded him in more ways than one from the looks of it... And for this, Uri wouldn't let the day just end where it was... He knew what was coming next, those who might not honor this victory, people who will challenge her again if she is seen alone...
  377.
  378. He went to help Alexander up if he had fallen, but, Nebula was already there beside him... Uri on the other hand, would just leave the mending of any wounds to those around him, Sanna and the likes whilst he would follow Caila. The Captain had many questions, even if it might result in a fight, "Caila, wait!" He'd only follow her to the gates of Osrona if she left by then…
  379.
  380. "Do not pursue us... Everything, is under my control---Don't make a foolish decision," he warned while trying to catch up to Caila in order to speak with her about the plans she had in mind. About everything, he knew, that she of all people, before everyone here... Had a mind of reason, even when under stress, and for this, he was willing to fight, so that he could hear what she had to say... To pass on a message of someone they saw as a threat, from a person they saw as an ally.
  381.
  382. "Please, speak to me Caila… To Us."
  383.
  384. So spoke the Wandering Phoenix if this was truly the end of the scene.
  385. (Uri Sanctum)
  386. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  387.
  388. [12:37] Sometimes people acted erratically. It was human to err, or something. That's what her early teachings said, right? It looked like the situation was finally resolving, so Mariaan let out a deep sigh and turned around, looking over to the exit.
  389.
  390. "I'll, uhh... go and find a Radiant." She washed her hands of the scene and would make a very fleeting attempt to find any Radiant that wasn't wheelchair bound Lloyd before ultimately going to sleep.
  391. (Mariaan)
  392. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  393.
  394. [12:37] In the end, the Drakanite is swayed by these injunctions; whether the interjection of Uri or plea of the King, it mattered not, for the safety of Her Majesty was paramount.
  395.
  396. And though a good deed done and rationale bestowed upon her by the Stars above, her face would remain etched in memory.
  397.
  398. Until the next time.
  399.
  400. Her retreat is met with an exhale, digits clasp together, and lips part in pious utterance:
  401.
  402. "Almighty Creator, may Your name be glorified for You alone are worthy. For the protection of our Queen, we give thanks. Strenghten His and Her Majesty in the power of Your might, Almighty Creator. Dress Them in Your armour so that they may stand firm against the schemes of evil. You are our keeper, Creator, the shade on our right hand. Protect them from all evil and keep their soul. Guard their going out and coming in, from this time and forever."
  403.
  404. A tap upon his Star of Celestialism, and an offering of starlight - fleeting and resplendent, cast to the heavens above - to return to the Stars and the lifestream beyond.
  405.
  406. He sets into motion toward King and Queen, mana conjured and warped into thick, potion emeralds of reinvigoration.
  407. (Sethon)
  408. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  409.
  410. [12:39] Caila had no more words here.. she would just return home and send a letter there after of everything she wanted to say. After everything that had transpired here today. Nothing made sense. Caila was sure they wouldn't listen to her now.. or maybe at all. She would use her wings to carry herself once more. This time in full stride to leave the scene at hand.
  411.
  412. Hopefully when all this war is over they may look back on this day and wonder if she was right...
  413.
  414. Caila would exit the Dojo and begone from Osrona's grounds forever unless given direct reason otherwise.
  415. (Caila Kriemhild)
  416. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  417.
  418. [12:40] Alexander rei Petrakis says, "...."
  419. [12:43] As he followed, the man made his pursue to try and speak to Caila… For its been a year or so, since the last time, they actually had a decent talk. "Caila!" He shouts to try and get her attention...
  420.
  421. "Caila!" The young Captain shouts once more. He was running whilst she could possibly be flying or fleeing at the heat of the moment without a single thought as to who was behind her.
  422.
  423. "Wait!" The young Sanctum declared, trying to catch up, to grab onto her shoulder, to get his dear friend to finally speak to him. "Why can't you... Speak to me?"
  424.
  425. He waits for her to respond...
  426.
  427. "Caila?"
  428. (Uri Sanctum)
  429. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  430.
  431. [12:43] Caila Kriemhild says, "I'll be returning home."
  432. [12:43] Caila Kriemhild says, "I hope we talk in the future..."
  433. [12:43] Caila Kriemhild says, "Bye Uri."
  434. [12:43] Caila would turn to leave.
  435. (Caila Kriemhild)
  436. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  437.
  438. [12:48] He reaches out to Caila, unable to catch up to her in his pursuit... She wouldn't talk to him, only saying her farewells to him. After so long, someone else would give him the treatment of a farewell in times of war, from those of his childhood and even now...
  439.
  440. Left behind...
  441.
  442. His heart would ache from this...
  443.
  444. Just waiting, watching as she flew away...
  445.
  446. "Dammit... Why couldn't things just... Have gone peacefully...Why don't they ever fucking go peacefully!"
  447.
  448. In his rage, the flames would spark from his body, bursting of light and heat, for the inferno within his fist glew brightly.
  449.
  450. "Why Doesn't Anyone In This World Have Any Damn Sense!!!" He fell to his knees, slamming his fist upon the brick road of Osrona which led out to the western forest... Able to do nothing as his student fled from the scene.
  451. (Uri Sanctum)
