Uruz // "Oo-Ruse" / Translation: "Aurochs"

Aurochs are an extinct species of wild cattle, and in Uruz they are invoked in the masculine sense to channel the spirit of the bull. Strength, sturdiness, vigor, endurance. There are many ways to interpret this rune but my personal favorite is to channel the teachings of the stoics. To be steadfast, objective, and unchanged emotionally by outside factors. Your strength stems from inside.

Likewise, the appearance of this rune could mean that you are lacking exactly that, inner strength. If you are too swayed or affected by the opinions of others, Uruz reminds you to find your center and remember to be steadfast and concentrate on your foundations.

Otherwise, if you are being too insensitive to those in your life, Uruz would appear to mock you. A way of telling you that you're acting too bullish and that a less bulky and destructive approach may be necessary.
