Osprey and Yang: Tourney Intermission

Osprey decided to go use the bathroom during the break, leaving Iori with Yang and the others as he walk towards the exit of the dugout and into the hallways above them. Coming into the populated halls, he had to walk past many people who waved at him and wanted to talk to him. He however only gave them brief nods and even shook hands with some of the kids who came up to him with their parents. While he may be callous at times, he would make sure to never be rude to kids as his mom taught him and Yang.


Entering the bathroom, he finds it to be empty which is good for him as he prefer to pee alone. Walking up to a stall and taking care of business, he begin to think on the various events that had happened to his life so far. Graduating from Regna Ferox(top 10 even along with his sister despite ditching classes.), Acquiring their own ranch, getting their first monsters, meeting Ruby for the first time, going and winning their first tourney with Yang, getting their band started, and going to the next rank.


During all of that, they had to deal with the Geonyte Shortage where they met Marth(Revealed to be Princess Lucina) and took down some organization that called themselves the Grimleal. Which to him, is nowhere near bad as that other group his mom warned him about called The Orochi's Fangs. "Hope we never come across those freaks..." He finish peeing and go to wash his hands in the sink before leaving and heading back to the dugout to where the others are at.


Sitting down next to Yang who's busy scrolling through stuff on her phone, he leans over and look at it with Kyo and Iori both chilling and eating some of the apples the trainers brought with them. "Looking up something?" "Yeah...just random memes to bother mom with." She smirks as she saved a voiced gif detailing a talking cat in Nohr with images of armies. and send it to Raven. Upon sending it and seeing that it's been seen by their mom, Raven quickly send them a angry emoji and a middle finger. The twins smirk knowing that their mom is joking as well. Quickly after that, she send them a text.

[Good job to the both of you, doing well.]
Yang look at Osprey before texting back.
{Thanks.}
[So guess who I'm sitting with?]

Yang roll her eyes and reply back to her.
{No idea nor do we care.}
Another text from Raven.

Osprey and Yang widen their eyes as the latter type back fast.
[Where?]

Another reply from their mother.
[LMAO, relax. We're on the west side in the top level.]

They both get up and look to see Raven smirking as she wave down at them with Qrow calmly holding a can of beer up at them. "I don't see dad..." Osprey mutters with Yang texting back.
[Where's dad?]
Osprey watches as Raven get the text, read it, rear her head back and laugh before texting back.
{He went to get some more food with Summer, He's proud of y'all too and I will make him meet y'all after the tourney.}

Yang nods as she replies back as the 15 min bell rings to end the break as many of their friends and peers come back to the dugout to get ready.
[Ok, see ya later mom.]

Yang put her phone up and walk to her brother. "We gonna meet dad soon.." "We are, huh?" He doesn't look at her as he watches Taiyang and Summer coming back, the former carrying a lot of food that the other 3 take from him as he sit down and get ready to watch the matches. "Allright..." He nods as he turn to Yang. "You ready?"

They shake hands and she nod at him. "Always." The twins then sit down as the announcer speaks up "THANK YOU ALL FOR WAITING, WE ARE NOW READY TO PROCEED WITH THE RANK D ELIMINATION CUP!!" The roar of the crowd gets louder as the tourney continues.
