[b][url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgA5oaHx9ho"]Taz[/url][/b] vs [b][url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w1mq6rAfMM&t=4s"]Shawn[/url][/b] started out measured, with Shawn using his height and cardio advantage to keep out of Taz's grasp, tagging him with quick strikes and fancy footwork that kept Taz moving. Shawn even ducked out of the ring once or twice, using his veteran instincts to prey upon Taz's rookie impatience. When Taz finally took the bait and followed Shawn to the outside, Shawn took advantage, whipping the Tazmaniac into the barricades and knocking the wind from his sails. Shawn dipped back into the ring to restart the count before trying to whip Taz yet again, but his attempt was foiled as Taz reversed the whip and sent Shawn sailing with a stunning belly to belly suplex! Taz got back to his feet, and roared to the crowd as Shawn writhed in agony on the floor.

Taz got back into the ring as the ref started to count Shawn out. He fixed his eyes right on Shawn, who was just starting to get to his feet, and started beckoning him to get back in the ring. Shawn was angry now, and he got even angrier as Taz shouted at him from inside the ring. "COME ON, HEARTBREAK, YOU COWARD! GET BACK IN THIS DAMN RING!" Shawn got back in just as the ref counted 6, but Taz didn't let up. "YEAH, TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH! I THOUGHT I WAS WRESTLIN' THE HEARTBREAK KID, NOT A HEARTBREAK BI-!" Shawn stopped him cold with a hard slap to the side of the face, and got another in reply. Shawn slapped back, and Taz responded with a backhand chop that knocked Shawn momentarily dizzy. The Human Suplex Machine took this opportunity to hit the ropes, but Shawn took him right to the mat with a drop toehold, and interlocked their legs together for the Surfboard Stretch!

Shawn had Taz tied up in the Surfboard, and he used that time to do a little berating of his own. "YOU THINK YOU GET TO TALK BACK TO ME? YOU THINK YOU GET TO TALK BACK TO THE HEARTBREAK KID? YOUR FUCKING TRAILBLAZERS ARE GODDAMNED SKIDMARKS COMPARED TO ME! I'M A FUCKING LEGEND! A TWO TIME RUMBLE WINNER! WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED?"

Taz was holding strong, not giving an inch to Heartbreak, and he gave back as good as he got even while his back was being punished by the Surfboard. "I BEAT CHRIS JERICHO, AND YOU AIN'T DOIN' THAT!" This knocked Shawn off his game, loosening his grip just enough for Taz to wallop him with a stiff elbow shot and escape the hold. Both men were left on the mat, grasping for the ropes. Shawn was just a bit quicker on the draw, and by the time Taz was on his feet, Shawn was tuning up the band. Heartbreak tried to nail Taz with a Sweet Chin Music, but Taz caught the leg and hit a bridging Capture Suplex!

1...2..., 2.9, Taz couldn't keep the clutch or the bridge in place, and HBK was able to get the arm up. Taz and HBK were back on the mat, and the ref began to count. As the ref hit 5, both men were getting to their feet, and Taz sent Shawn reeling with a chop to the chest. Shawn was staggered but not knocked down, and fired back with a roundhouse that sent Taz to a knee, but Taz powered through and hit a horrific backhand chop to the throat. I swear, I thought Shawn's heart stopped for a second or something. The chop had Shawn vulnerable just long enough for Taz to lock in the top half of the Tazmission, but before he could get the bodyscissors in, Heartbreak was able to stagger to the ropes. Taz broke the hold, but immediately hit the ropes and GOT CAUGHT WITH A SNAP SWEET CHIN MUSIC ON THE REBOUND! Taz crumbled to the mat, and Shawn went for the pin.

1...2...3. Shawn won. This was full-stop amazing, the best match on Raw since that tag match after Survivor Series.
