About a year later; CLARK'S TWO NOW. He's running around the living room. Jonathan trying to get him to come, but Clark keeps rambling away. Finally, Martha enters:

MARTHA
Clark, come on: we have to go upstairs for a bath, now.

Suddenly CLARK TAKES OFF -- FLYING THROUGH THE CEILING. JONATHAN AND MARTHA ARE SHOCKED.

Martha bolts up the stairs:
