**The Veiled Accord**
Try to break a vow out of spite,
And witness venom of my bite.
Dare to betray the Veiled Accord,
You shall bleed and fear by my sword.

Desperate time I sealed my fate,
Terms of contract were far from straight.
Tricked in servitude my mortal life,
I lost my beloved ones in this strife.

They live, yet I'm not in their mind,
Once oath fulfilled, them shall I find.
Will I be whole when this is over?
Or face a sorrowful closure?

Grueling deeds gnaw my soul at night,
Claiming life is not a delight.
Why are we if not to survive?
In shadows only the strong can thrive.

At times green scales call for embrace,
These moments stay my only grace.
Addicting thrill of the toxic breath,
Even then, I tread the verge of death.

Yet I let none become too dear,
Losing them is my deepest fear.
Is it kinship that I long for?
Or the ones I have lost before?

One of the first to Accord my voice.
Lead to the selfish acts by choice.
Bound to the selfless cause by pact.
I wield my fate with will intact.
