Rant about the world.

I thought just occurred to me, and that is that we as people don't really absorb a lot of media like we used to.
And I feel like this goes back to my essay about business.
Business that feeds ads and ad campaigns in our faces and how our mediums don't really deliver as much content anymore.
Watching a youtube video is like eating a bag of Doritos.
You consume the ad (the front of the bag visually), you ingest the content (eating the chips obviously), and then the video's done and you go to find another bag of chips to consume.
There's no thought to it,  you just do it.
And in this vapid dumb idealism of a world we live in, there's 2 things here that tie all of this together. Business and Culture.
Business feeds culture until it becomes oversaturated.
Once the pig is full, they continue feeding other pigs until  all the pigs are full to bursting. And that is how our country has worked since TV has become a thing.
Youtube, Google, Netflix, all of these companies do the exact same thing. They absorb culture and transmit it back to us. Profit becomes an afterthought after all of this is taken into consideration.
As culture degenerates itself, so do the businesses that feed it. I've been thinking for a long time and after watching all these people complain about Youtube and the lack of decent content on it. I've come to the conclusion that the 2 sides to this coin or argument rather is how we changed in our cultural aspect. And this partially has to do with the SJW movement.
Now, I know SJWs are often considered to be tied to Transgender people, but this whole thing tied to cisgender and whatever other nonsense people want to label it is indeed a culture shift. And it was through this that we as people understood as such that we can celebrate being autistic or brain damaged or having ADD and other things.
when I was a child, these were treated as impairments and mental disorders and mentally challenged people. And I was always scared of being lumped in with actual brain damaged people.
I got over it after I stopped talking with people and focussed on myself.
So why this generational shift? And what is the result?
I'm not entirely sure, I don't mind when cultures shift towards positive aspects in life but as a result of all this people are becoming more and more retarded each day. And this isn't an insult to people who are actually retarded. But rather I'm saying our culture has retarded to a lesser form and as a result have retroactively made ourselves worse as a result.
This cultural shift is what allowed idiots like The Donald to rise to power. "Oh but Grass, he was voted in."

Sure he was. And I'm Santa Claus. Let's be honest here, this cultural shift and business model change is likely the reason so many things in our current state of America is so shit. It's the reason health care is shit, it's the reason television is shit it's the reason quality of life is shit and why we are ranked almost as bad as some 3rd world countries in terms of births and other problems.(edited)
Yes, first world problems actually do exist. As much as we joke about this, there are multiple leading first world problems including suicide, pathological lies, and many others. And America is leading in these problems. This isn't one person's fault or a nation's.
But rather how our culture responds to many things.
And I got to thinking about this idea that Americans are about as free as the slaves that were brought on a ship from the East.
Don't believe me? Look at how companies are forcing ads and Youtube forcing ad revenues onto their videos.
Look at the rising costs of life in America today. Look at the minimal wages the average American has. Look at how we funnel information from places like the White House to news channels and opinions are thrown by pundits.
And we all eat that up by watching CNN, Buzzfeed, The Enquirer.
The bible calls god our lord and sheperd. And this is so hilariously true in a world that is populated by sheeple. If the lord is the sheperd then we are all sheep and we continue to be sheep.
I've said this a lot to people to not just think for themselves but to understand why things suck. If you want to be smart, pay close attention to the world around you and examine everything.
Don't be the average person who does whatever they want, be the person that fights this.
