  22. Potentials are statistical bonuses that may be applied to
  23. each of the characters. They don't replace equipment, but
  24. they certainly boost the effectivity of equipment by a lot.

  31. Total, there's 32 pieces of potential that characters may
  32. equip at a single given time. Each potential category will
  33. focus on certain stats more than others.

  35. - Aura Potenial -
  36.  
  37. Aura Potentials focus on unique traits. Unlike the other
  38. potential categories, you can only equip one of a kind of
  39. Aura Potential at any time. That said, Aura Potential tend
  40. to be rarer than the other potentials due to their generally
  41. powerful nature.

  43. - Body Potential -
  44.  
  45. Body Potentials focus on HP, ATK, DEF, AGI stats more than
  46. the other stats. Although bonuses for the other stats exist,
  47. they aren't nearly as potent as the 4 listed. Characters
  48. may equip more than one of a kind of body potential at any
  49. given time.

  52.  
  53. Mind Potentials focus on SP, INT, RES stats more than
  54. the other stats. Although bonuses for the other stats exist,
  55. they aren't nearly as potent as the 3 listed. Characters

  57. given time.

  59. - Soul Potential -
  60.  
  61. Soul Potentials focus on DEX, FOC, LUK stats more than
  62. the other stats. Although bonuses for the other stats exist,
  63. they aren't nearly as potent as the 3 listed. Characters
  64. may equip more than one of a kind of soul potential at any
  65. given time.

  68. Part II. Acquiring Potential
  69. ============================================================
  70.  
  71. Potential can be acquired through multiple ways. They can be
  72. obtained through defeating monsters, finding them in rabbit
  73. holes, or through learning new skills. Characters can share
  74. potential with each other.
  75.  
  76. Potential that can be only found from regular monsters will
  77. always and only be tier 1. This means the lowest of the low
  78. bonuses available.
  79. - 100% Tier 1
  80.  
  81. Potential that will be always found from leader monsters can
  82. be either tier 1 or tier 2. Leader monsters are found 1 per
  83. pack of monsters and will be stronger than the others. Any
  84. bosses also count as leader monsters, but unlike leader
  85. monsters found in regular fights, boss monsters always drop
  86. a tier 2 potential bonus.
  87. - 60% Tier 1, 40% Tier 2 for Leader Monsters
  88. - 100% Tier 2 for Boss Monsters
  89.  
  90. Potentials can be found deep in Rabbit Holes that appear
  91. throughout the game. Rabbit Holes are little bonus areas
  92. that place the player into a trial of battles with a reward
  93. at the bottom of the Rabbit Hole. The rewards can be pieces
  94. of AP for everyone, equipment, or potential bonuses. Any
  95. potential rewards that can be awarded from completing a
  96. Rabbit Hole can yield Tier 1, 2, or 3 Potentials.
  97. - 40% AP for Party
  98. - 30% Equipment
  99. - 30% Potential
  100. ----- 50% Tier 1
  101. ----- 40% Tier 2
  102. ----- 10% Tier 3

  104. Whenever a player acquires a potential through hunting
  105. monsters, killing bosses, or finding them in Rabbit Holes,
  106. they are randomized amongst the four categories.

  113. Part III. Potential Modification
  114. ============================================================

  116. Since potentials are randomized and the results aren't
  117. always what players desire, they can modify the existing
  118. potentials at their disposal to something more desirable.
  119. At the Potential Shop, players can do any of the following:
  120.  
  121. 1. Purchase
  122. 2. Recycle
  123. 3. Fusion
  124. 4. Dismantle
  125.  
  126. Players can only purchase Tier 1 Potentials from the shop.
  127. However, only Body, Mind, and Soul Potentials can be bought
  128. from the Potential Shop. In addition to that, +% ALL, and
  129. +ALL Potential cannot be bought from shops either. In order
  130. to acquire Tier 1 Aura Potentials, they must be recycled.
  131. Tier 1 Potentials can be bought for $10 each at the shop.
  132.  
  133. Recycling Potentials allow potentials of the same tier to be
  134. changed into a random -other- potential of the same tier.
  135. They can never result in what they were to be recycled from
  136. or result in something of lesser tier or greater tier. There
  137. are costs for recycling potentials for each tier.
  138. - Tier 1: $1 per Recycle
  139. - Tier 2: $5 per Recycle
  140. - Tier 3: $10 per Recycle
  141. - Tier 4: $15 per Recycle
  142. - Tier 5: $20 per Recycle
  143.  
  144. Fusing Potentials allow potentials of the same tier to be
  145. brought to a higher tier. Fusion can work for any potentials
  146. so long as they're of the same tier. This is a great way to
  147. get rid of unwanted potentials and change them into more
  148. useful potentials. Each tier requires a different amount of
  149. potentials to fuse:
  150. - Tier 1: Cannot Fuse
  151. - Tier 2: 2x Tier 1, $5
  152. - Tier 3: 3x Tier 2, $10
  153. - Tier 4: 4x Tier 3, $15
  154. - Tier 5: 5x Tier 4, $20
  155.  
  156. Note: When fusing potentials, you can control the outcome
  157. of the potentials if they're all the same type. For example,
  158. if you fuse three LUK% tier 2 potentials, they'll be a
  159. promised LUK% tier 3 potentials. Otherwise, the outcome will
  160. result in a random tier 3 potential.
  161.  
  162. Dismantling Potentials break down higher tier potentials to
  163. lower tier potentials. This is a great way to provide more
  164. availability of potentials for your characters when a higher
  165. tier potential is found. The outcome is always a random
  166. potential.
  167. - Tier 1: Cannot Dismantle
  168. - Tier 2: 2x Tier 1, $5
  169. - Tier 3: 3x Tier 2, $10
  170. - Tier 4: 4x Tier 3, $15
