 [00:02] It's a vicious battle, and she doesn't look away for a second. Refusing to let go of her branded weapon, more than prepared to intervene if need be. Much to her surprise, much to her enjoyment, she doesn't need to step in.

...and when the show comes to an end?

Veles offers the fellow serpent a round of applause. Bringing her palms together with slow, controlled motions. "Ah..." The sapphire petals that once danced now fall against her frame. Covering her body, veiling the emerald scales behind a think sheen of that luxurious blue.

"...what was it that you told me?" The exact words escape her, nonetheless, she continues. "You weren't strong enough...to claim what we need?" Crimson slits shift to Teodor. Resting upon him for only a short while.

"This proves otherwise."

When the one who claims revenge, and claims the death of Teodor departs, two more come into her line of sight. For, it seems the festivities have only just begun.

As she catches sight of two others, surrounding any escape paths with large patches of corrupted vines. Each branding sharp brambles, laced with vile poisons that radiate from their tips.

"...and what do we have here?"

[00:08] Running swiftly Terran suddenly comes to a swift stop as he came upon a few people. With one look Terran could tell something here was wrong, something was off the situation did not seem like a few friends convening.

'Did I just walk into a fight?' He thought to him self as he began to assess the situation.

Sudden as his vision fell upon Veles, Terran broke out in a cold sweat seeing that the being in front of him was not human. After his brain began to register Veles' serpent like features and the fact their lower half was a that of a snake. Vision of a tower, one that commonly plague Terran's nightmares began to flood his mind.

Faster than even he realized Terran abruptly turned around channeling as much of his mana he could muster into his legs. He wanted to retreat from this area as fast as possible every fiber in his being was yelling at him to get away.

[00:09] The young drakkanite would swiftly see a group of demons around the area. And it would seem that they would show a clear sign that they were not stopping for no one. The female would swiftly see this as a problem, and quickly move to get reinforcements.

Untill… The presence of a demon was made extremely clear. As the naga's speed would move right directly towards them. As their Vines would surround the children in general. The presence of a demon would be made clear by its horned features and tail.

Scales would grow upon the females stature. And she would maintain a battle stance. Her glare swiftly unchanging, a demon has entered the battlefield and she wasn't going to act so easily against the corrupted figure.

Ever so silent she would shift her stance forwards. And wisps of blue mana would surround her fist as a result. She would wait, and anticipate the Naga to make the first move. Maintaining silence throughout the whole duration. As only the soundof her mana would be heard clearly.

[00:13] As the tail end of the battle crashes to a halt, and the clearly broken ex-warlord runs off screaming about.. something scarcely sane, Miran just- turns to leave.

Veles' comment to her companion stokes a pause, however, and his face contorts in thought. The shard..?

The pause is fleeting, however, as he shakes his head to dispel it. Snake-like vines erupt from the ground below his feet, wrapping his midsection and half-flinging him over the bramble wall.

Over the shoulder he yells towards the Drakanite girl.

"You- uh, probably want to run."

He's outta here.

[00:15] Wounds that would've appeared on his skin as he reverted would've began to heal. Quickly closing up but some were deeper than others as wind and light made those cuts into his body much easier to cleave into his frame.

He eyes flicker around him. Feeling that sense of judgement on him. Eyes were watching and when he saw that Teodor wasn't actually Teodor, he was confused on what caused such.

But that was something for another time. He could tell they would want revenge from what had happened today.

He turns to lay his eyes on Veles as she begins to unleash her vines when more arrive. "You are correct, Lady Veles. I shouldn't have doubted myself."

For now, eyes laid on those were in their presence.

[00:16] "...pray tell. Just where are you from? Is this your home? Is Osrona...your domain?" Spoken as the scales grow upon the drakanite, and the other begins to flee. Almost certain that he were going to run off, and alert others of their presence.

"Color me curious."

When Miran begins to depart, there is not attempt to chase. Refusing to strike at one who'd made sacrifices to claim one of Indras' shards.

"...and just where...do you think you're going?" Asked as she darts forward, attempting to block the others path.

[00:21] Unfortunate.

Where ever he went, the doctor seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. From accidentally watching the murder of a knight to fixing the wing of a bat demon so that she could go and accidentally be almost-murdered by the knights, Haseo had a talent for being where he shouldn't be.

That doesn't mean he's shocked to see demon-kin out and about.

They were practically everywhere at this point, albeit not as flashy or interesting as the two before him.

Slowing down and moving into a sideways walk as vines shoot up to wrap those who had arrived before him up, the Tinkerer sucks in the air through his teeth and remembers his seventh motto:

Don't be a hero.

"Hey, hey. You guys seem pretty busy, so I'll keep it moving. Unless someone is in need of my services." Why would they be? Outside of the Drakanite girl, there was a solid chance that none of the others even knew who he was.

[00:25] The woman would remain silent. And maintain her stature, continuing to glare at the demon's in question. Not relenting to ask on answer any questions that the demon would bother to offer towards them. Taking a look at the other however...

He would worry for them. He would worry for the two that also got caught up into this mess. A hysterical feeling to see. The situation that had befalled them would only lead the others into pity. However, at least a select few had made it outwards alive.

Her eyes would switch from the two demons. As her hues would never truly leave the two demons that had were here and about. A calm breath would be exuded throughout herself. And her mana circuitry would pump mana swiftly into her scales.

All she would do is wait. And nothing more, nothing less.

[00:26] Haseo whispers something.
[00:27] Terran's eyes widen as Veles easily caught up to him despite his head start. The young boy was now over come with a sense of terror and dread. He felt as if he didn't escape this might be his last moments.

But through the terror and the fear suddenly the words of his mentor slowly crept into his head. 'Munshin or Balance' Terran began to take deep breathes to calm him self down. He needed to clear his mind of fear and figure out any chance he had of escaping this alive. His eyes scanned around looking for another means to escape but he doubt he would find one.

He thought back to Beatrice behind him, he wonder if maybe should would give him a chance to escape. Terran then waited for the demon to react or say something hoping to be able to buy time till an opportunity presented it self to leave.

[00:31] "Not now. But, later, for certain." Spoken as her gaze shifts towards Haseo. Remembering him, albeit briefly, as one who delivered an abundance of supplies to the tower. Be it a whim, or not, she remembered the little things.

Saying nothing more to the smith as she slithers on, to impede the path of Beatrice and Terran.

Looking towards her ilk briefly, as yet another catches her attention. "Silence irks me, so I will make assumptions: capture them. I'll deal with the other."

Slithering around to face a hooded figure. One who's features almost fit a description given prior. Yet, unable to tell entirely due to the hood.

"...and who may you be?"

[00:36] Andrew squints at the demons in the area, but more so focused on the one in front of him. He was curious as to while they were here and while did it look like Beatrice was begin held up by the duo.

"Who I am right now isn't of importance; however, I'm curious as to while you're out here harassing folks? by the city bridge no less. We can cut any bs in the middle and get right to the point and explain why you feel the need to capture people?

That's not a good look on you, but I doubt you care how your image looks at this point. I highly suggest you let them go and you go on about your business."

[00:39] Frenerid walked forward as Veles went through each being and asked them a question. Each which, seemed to keep their mouths from speaking. It was bothersome but who could blame them in the face of two fashionable but terrifying demons?

Frenerid's eyes meet with Haseo for a moment as he begin to stroll by. He had no squalls with him and he wasn't going to start having any either. He nods towards the male and let's him continue on with his path. "Maybe at a later date."

Eyes meet with a newcomer who decided to enter their presence. Frenerid squinted his eyes as he moved closer to Veles. This one was recognizable to say the least. A ping went through his head as he speaks with Veles telepathically while he peeked at the other two.

[00:39] Haseo whispers something.
[00:43] A question an order had been given. Thus, the naga's azure petals begin to flutter, surrounding the area with a flurry of sapphire flora. "It is of importance, ah well. Frenerid- you have your duties."

Licking her lips as she slithers onward, corrupting the very lands within her trail, lunging directly towards Andrew. The telepathic message is received, but Veles? Can't help but wish to progress things.

While her desire for samples has all but diminished, the desire for subjects overshadowed it greatly.

Not being one of many words, she aims to strike. More than prepared for another batch of humans to arrive. For once one shows, many follow.

...and that is precisely why this location continued to be her favorite hunting grounds.

[00:43] Agni was on his way to test out his new master staff on the boar when he'd come across the scene. Flames flickering and dancing across his form as Sienna hues looked over the people present as if looking for a familiar face but not really finding one.

"Having a good night I hope?", the cos Solenne would ask aloud joining the group a bit closer with a few steps. Mythril leggings crunching against the grass before clacking with the cobblestone pathway.

The man would strike a thumbs up before posing heroically with his hands on his hips, "My name's Agni. Some might know me as a master swordsman, but I'll soon also be a master of staffs too!!"

[00:44] Terran eyed the hood figure who seems to trying to dissuade the demons current pursuit and capture of him. He sighed relieved a bit, best case scenario the hooded man was someone who could best the demon worst case he was yet another person to divide the creatures attention.
(Terran)


[00:45] Andrew Mercia whispers something.

[00:50] The young woman would give a look of irritation towards the demon. As she would still maintain her defensive stance once more. The opportunity to stay alive and not act out swiftly. She hopes that they male before her could deal with this.

Her stance still maintaining throughout the whole intermission. Gripping her fists as she had grit her teeth. Flat anger wouldn't be enough to deal with the opponents that were there at hand. And she had known that.

As she would look towards Agni and his announcement. She didn't really care much for the announcement. But moreso for the presence of a demon before them. Never taking her eyes off of the demon in question. She would take a look around for others.

As many had gathered, she would give a small sigh of slight relief. Not completely out of the dark yet.

[00:50] Seeing Veles attention was now on the hooded figure the moment they engaged in combat Terran would use that as his chance to leave the area. He channeled his mana into his body and began to take off leaving the area.
(Terran)


[01:01] He did indeed have his duties while Veles took care of things with the newcomer who he had recognized. While she handled that, he turned his attention to those where here near him assuming watching over them and anyone else that came over was his duties.

First was Agni. Red hues stare towards him while he made his introduction. The heroic tone that he put off wasn't all that interesting to say the least and it was only getting him irritated by a slight margin. "Agni. I do suggest that if you want to live you leave to go what you were going to do before. If not, you'll be forced to stay right here."

From Frenerid's shoulder would've emerged a white snake that lunged for Tarren as he made an escape for it. Aiming to wrap around his neck and pull him back to the location he was at before. "Stay or I'll devour you."

And finally, the blonde drakanite that stood still ever watching closely towards him. He walked towards her and stared right back. Only to find himself a bit too close for comfort in her circle. "You've been staring for quite a while, Miss. So brave yet so quiet. Although, it doesn't hinder your beauty." His eyes closed as a faint grin begins to show. She was so defensive with how her stance was. Frenerid found it cute.

After all that, he gave a peek at Veles's battle.

[01:04] Terran heard Frenerid's but it did not register in the young mans mind. Hhe only thing he could process or thing of was to simply escape. He did not stop or slow down and continued to run as fast as his legs would carry him.
(Terran)


[01:06] "If I want to live huh?", Agni asked with a growing smile, "Are you challenging m to a fight? Does that mean you're actually strong, or do you just like to talk shit?~" Maybe he'd get to test the staff out on a person sooner than expected.

When the snake suddenly gripped Terran he'd completely understand. A fist slamming into his palm, "Awh! I get it!! You're a demon!!!! I have to beat your ass!!"

"Stop flirting with the woman and fight me!!!"

[01:11] "Flirting is an overstatement as I only have one person in my eyes."

Frenerid turned around from watching how Veles was doing and the woman in front of him. He stared Agni down. "If you so choose. When they're done, I will go and show you what I do to those that don't listen to me."

The boy was incredibly obnoxious with how much yelling he did but it would come to the case if Frenerid could close it.

[01:13] Agni smiled excitedly.

[01:21] It wasn't an easy fight by any means, and that...

Evokes an exuberant amount of joy.

From the first time she'd hunted in these lands, to the time she'd delved into a tomb containing one of Indras' shards, she'd been working. Perfecting a virus, and today? It evolves.

Bursting into clouds of poison as those heated sands draw near, the naga skirts away. Mending wound after wound, snapping her bones back into place as her elongated spine is dislocated from various blows. Filling the woodlands with toxic plant, after toxic plant, until the field of battle is set up to her liking.

And despite her wounds...

She strikes.

Growing a vine from beneath the scales of her palm, lunging it towards the other. Narrowly missing her attempts to spread the infection, giving him a chance to escape.

"...lucky, lucky."

Hissed, as her attention is diverted. Licking her lips as the meat market begins to pile,enjoying how easy it is to get the humans to congregate in one location.

By simply attacking one of their own.

[01:31] Agni made something of a shooing motion to the snake woman, "Alright.. out of the way woman. We have a fight to do." There was a bounce to the man's step before he'd take a few steps and stretch himself out in preparation.

"Ready Snake dude?"

[01:32] Emhyr Miarona says, "By the gods"
[01:36] "Strength is to be respected. To Hel' with your faith." If he refused to escape, those vines would indeed capture him, refusing to stop their relentless assault. This was a battlefield, not a podium.

Thus, when Agni approaches, regarding her with disrespect? The heat of battle forces her judgement to become temporarily impaired. Fighting against her kin was an honor. Treated as a mere peasant?

How does the lord of demons react?

She lunges, elongated fangs present as her jaw dislocates. More than prepared to face whatever the outcome may be.

[01:38] The young woman would slowly walk by. It would seem that the two would have this problem certainly covered. And if she needed to deal with an enemy.... She definetly would refuse to go spiraling downwards fighting. She would take steps and slowly walk off.

[01:40] "I will have to punish you even more for disrespecting my superior like that."

Frenerid walks forward and as Veles lunged forward, he didn't react towards and let her handle it. It was best not to interfere when the Queen of Snakes was doing her business out of her free will.

"Oh, do your best Lady Veles." Now eyes would trail towards the same drakanite that was near. Was she trying to leave? Frenerid hoped not. A white snake charged towards him to latch at her feet and keep her in place. For Darrel, Frenerid only stared at him.

"What is it that you want?"

[01:49] He'd gone out, originally... To burn some boars. Maybe catch a part of the forest aflame. The usual. Although, he ended up stopping at the smell of smoke and noticing a group of people...

And demons. Agni stepped forwards to do his thing. Meanwhile, he paused to watch, although... No, there had to be another. A snake charged towards the nearby Drakanite. He'd step forwards to try and stomp on it with his boot. Maybe not making the correlation quite yet between it and Frenerid. At least yet. He hadn't paid them much attention until they spoke at him.

A voice... And he glanced over. "Wanted ta watch. Like ta see tha fires roar." Especially those of a friend.

[01:54] The young female slowly released from the snakes entrapment. Would slowly attempt to walk away. As the snake would slowly be released from her grasp. Was it was truly the end of this fight against demon and human? Or was the demon going to continue its relentless assualt.

Time will tell, but she is more than unwilling to see it through. This time she would attempt to move out of the way again. As the two may become more than ready to hash it out by now. And settle their diffrences once and for all.

The woman would swiftly make a break for it. As the snake was released, hoping to get through, and finally become free from the twin demons grasp.. This was their second attempt to go free, and squandering it by listening to the demon wasn't on their list of things to complete.

[02:00] Frenerid saw as the man attempted to stomp on his snake. The snake that was part of him and detached from the girl that was still trying to escape from their grasp. Now, he wasn't going to let that happen as he was going to go through with his orders and keep her there like Veles told him.

Even if he had to capture another one to stay. His form began to revert to a full-bodied snake. White upon the scales and red ruby eyes staring directly at Darrel with hunger in his eyes.

"You won't ss-stop me from keeping her here. Lesss you'd like to join her and be kept here as-ss well?"

[02:10] His vision shifted, towards... That magic. The magic Veles used. He'd fought them before. It was exciting, almost exhilirating yet still... He couldn't help but notice them go for Agni.

He couldn't have that. He barely knew the drakanite. But he knew the other too well. His staff swirled into his hands, as his heart began pounding. "Leave him be!" A shout to the air.

To Veles. Of all the people. It had to be one of those closest. His flames ate at the air around him... Hungry....

Hungry for fuel. "An' fight me instead." He'd call, firing off his own wave of flame at Veles. To try to give Agni the chance to escape. Something, anything.

[02:11] The woman would take a look at the young man in desperate worry. She would have to swiftly turn around and take a look at the enemies towards them... This was an irritating feeling to see that she couldn't do anything at all...

Freedom was what she had desired. And she would sacrifice many thing to be able to attain that dream. However the death of Agni would not sit well with the woman. She would swiftly slow down. And take a look at Darren.

"Go and save your friend. I won't allow someone to suffer for me."

She would say. Glaring at the snake before them, rushing towards the snake with her drink in her hand, and fist radiating. It was a fight to a certain end if it meant so.

[02:17] "So be it."

The snake reverted back to his human form and waited for the girl to charge at him. She seemed to have applied a red bubbly substance to her circuits to cause her to go into a fit of rage.

"Interesting." He stood there, letting her fist collide with his body and if she had the strength, allowing it to send him off into the woods to crash against some trees.

He prepared himself to capture her since that was his goal all along.

[02:19] The young female woman would glare directly at the demonic snake in question. As she would remove the seal from the drink and take a sip from the drink as well. Rushing towards her opponent with all of what she could to at least break down the blocking snake.

"IM Moving THROOOOOOOOUGH!"

She would scream in anger. As her azure flames would radiate willpower and resolve. Burning even heavier than before, her mana being used as a conduit to further amplify her physical strength in general. She wouldn't allow her freedom to be taken.

Not by the demon. And not by anyone else who bothered to act upon this evil.. She wouldn't stand. Nor relent, if she was going to fall. She would fall fighting.

[02:30] Frenerid figured she was an unarmed fighter when he noticed how strong her punch really was. A real angry girl at that too who expressed her power in raw energy. Somewhat like his but without the help of a star.

The fight was quick but she did put up one. Fighting as hard as she could without a single bit of hesitation in her punches. It seemed that bottle she drank earlier really made her power multiply by a bit.

But Frenerid found it too easy. The moment she placed a shield over herself, Frenerid took his cleaver and slammed right onto it with a few hits causing it to shatter and dissipate into the air.

He threw his blade into the air and a snake went to go grab at her neck and choke her until she was out of breath. Frenerid showed no hesitation towards this and said, "You're strong but weak enough to fall into this." She was clearly no human so he found no disgust towards her. He released her the moment she lacked the ability to breath.

But for some reason, he had a soft spot for her because she wasn't a human. He'd have to explain to Veles why he didn't capture her.

[02:34] The young female even within her angered state, would continue on the fight. As the demon would continue to press its influence with... its.. It would devastate the area and terrorize the young girl by using its very own...

"Cosmic magic!?"

She wondered, as blasts of energies of the stars would swiftly overwhelm her. However, each blast would allow her to feel the raw ether energy.. A cosmic strike would swiftly hit the female... The connection of raw mana was there... And being detected...

She would trade blows with the young male. And throw up quite a stir with her magic. As surrounding her body, as for a moment.. She was grasped by the snake. As the grip would strengthen she would cough violently.. As the snake let go, she would swiftly leave...

The anger within her... How she was defeated so swiftly. She wouldn't feel anything but reassurance, and slight disappointment for her loss.... The potions bolstering abilities were certainlythere. A demon who shapeshifted into a snake....

"I will purge this evil... I promise it!"

She would screech! Continuing to make a mad dash for it. She was set to go free. And live. Live to fight another day, and put an end to this evil.

[02:36] Beatrice Elinora says, "Adrielle...."

[02:37] Beatrice would cough heavily after each sentence...


"Two demons... Attacked us near the boar hunting spot..."

She uttered. A red spot would be upon her neck. Likely from surviving strangulation..
