Uri - Meditation & Fight against Faira

Here, Uri thought it would be the best time now more than ever to take his chances and fight against Faira once more.. She has gotten pretty strong and so has he, but. His attempt to forge this new flame, was his down fall, ultimately ending in his defeat. This was not a total loss however, as he maintained his hopes. Not to be the strongest of Osrona, but to be the one most willing to defend, mend and enlighten through the light of the Phoenix.



[10:22] Uri Sanctum says, "First, I want to meditate with you."
[10:23] Faira La Enfer Sanctum asks, "You want to medtate..?"
[10:23] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "I mean meditate..."
[10:23] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Oops.."
[10:23] Faira almost bit her tongue.

[10:24] Uri Sanctum says, "Haha, yes---To get a feel for anything within ourselves."
[10:24] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Hm..."
[10:24] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Sure."
[10:29] Uri would take his sister to the sidelines, just in case some one else needed to use this arena for their own training. "Ignite," he would speak regarding to their flame auras. Uri was attempting to grasp the concept of the Phoenix Aura once more. Or, an aura he would give this very name too. "Phoenix Sanctus... That's been my goal ever since.."

He sat down in a meditative stance. He might or might not need to hold Faira's hand on this, as he would also utilize the connection with his Guardian star Anos, in order to mold the flames, to try and show her what he was going for as well as trying to figure out her own source of power. Uri aimed to dig deep and slowly drag out the potential within the two siblings.

Just like twins. They were in sync but total opposites... One fought with rage while the other fought with compassion and so called for the need of this session of meditation. "Our ancestors cherished the light... Holy and the stars. I want to honor them, but I also want to achieve a goal of my own... Robin Queen will not be awake for some time, so, before we fight, I want to measure our attunements of fire."

It would just be as simple as comparing light and day, two very different styles and flame and what they could learn from each other.

[10:39] Following alongside her brother Uri to the sidelines. Watching as he said Ignite she followed along.

"Ignite."

Thinking about the purpose behind this she then head his goal.

"Oh, Mine is just to.. exceed my current ability. I know I can achieve higher forms of Fire if I keep pushing myself. I need to go beyond my limits. As all Sanctums have done. Wildfire's Sanctus."

Floating before him. She realized he held her hand.. probably for the meditation he was talking about. Hopefully this would help them progress in some way. She felt Uri was just like their grandfather actually.. Reno the Scholar who always had information from some great long lost time.

As if by fate they seemed to be akin to the same affinity of Fire. Surprising enough they took up different trades. Her being Magic and Armed combat. His being Magic and Unarmed combat. It was a true interest to say the least for them both as him being a Medic. Her being a Warrior. It would be a very good match incase she did get injured which has not happened yet! Luckily.

"Our family has been through a lot.. whether it was Holy Magic. Cosmic Magic. Or even Light magic. I'll still uphold our families.. beliefs to do that which is right. I just need to quell and control what's inside. A fire threatening to consume and engulf all that is around me.. I understand. Let's see what we can do."

With that Faira took a pause to close her glowing eyes and focus. For a moment it looked as if her flames stood still. Then a sudden burst would occur as they were moving more violently and even faster than prior. Then opening her eyes revealing they were glowing even more brightly than before.

"This is my true flame.. Those who oppose it. Shall be turned to ash."

[10:45] She walked into the dojo with a bit of blood all over her blade of the sheath. Causally walking in and sitting down she prepares to watch and maybe learn a few things from other people fighting.

Usually though she never learned a thing since she didn't lose much at all.

[10:47] With his eyes closed and their flames dancing about. Uri would go out to attempt his luck with this form of meditation. Listening to Faira or rather, feeling her emotions and words through the flame and his cosmic connection. "I understand, the history of our family is a one more than worthy of merits and many rewards..." He takes a deep breath, breathing in as he goes to infuse the arts of fire with that of the cosmos.

"Easy does it..." He chants to himself, for every passing breath taken was a risk of discharge, but, he had gotten lucky... His fiery aura began to infuse with the cosmic connection he had established with Anos… If only for a brief second, his flame shroud would flicker a bright gold... Wounds with mend if only by a little bit... His aura granting him some durability if only for a little while... This was the Phoenix Sanctus, but Uri would only maintain its form, for a mere 3 seconds.

It was not enough, and he felt the drain caused by the disruption of a bridge not fully forged. His connection with the stars were not as strong as he initially thought. He was still training of course, but because of his beloved sister Faira. He was able to see the light in his goal as well as the hardship that will be faced. "From your flames, I can tell that I... Will need to be more aggressive, more willing to take risk as this aura I am trying to create, itself is a risk when toying with..." He was breathing easy but he felt the mana within him slip out due to a failed attempt to maintain a magic so ancient.

Attempts determined by a single dice roll.

Uri Sanctum rolled a dice and it landed on: 6

[10:55] The Fire Daemon Mark upon her back throbbing in sequence to her emotions shifting. Now consumed by a desire to consume and increate everything that was around her she would do the same.. begin breathing and attempting to calm down the overwhelming thoughts of pyromania plaguing her mind. It was a well fought effort.

Grow... Expand.. Explode..



Engulf.. Consume... Destroy..



A brief moment her body would literally explode in an almost nuclear-like burst of Fire. As she opened her eyed and moved around.. fire would be left In her wake.. Her shroud no longer a shroud but.. of something much greater.. much more potent.. A Nova.

"This.. is me... My True Flame.."

With that said her body would simmer down back to a regular shroud her mana slightly diminished but flames ever present. She would close her eyes and nod. Progression. If Fleur could see her now.. would she be proud?

Only time will tell for both Uri and Faira in the future of their efforts.

[11:02] There was some struggle to be felt. Now, it was time to truly test their abilities to see if Uri could bring out these flames. If anything would change for him. "Alright, you ready? To go for a few rounds in the arena?" The young teen asked while moving towards the more open spot. The flames of his would follow as he continues to try again and again to bring out that golden ember.

"Come on..." He told himself, straining while just trying to walk. Certain task were made difficult when trying to forge something he had no true grasp on. "Stabilize... " The teen would have gotten at the center of the arena at this point, assuming a good fighting stance, using his Iron fist as support, but constantly trying to pour energy in order to infuse and maintain it!

He would think of that image, the dream of Anos, the masterpiece he knew as the stars becoming that form. The form of the Phoenix. "Take it easy on me if you can sis... This little attempt is taking its toll."

[11:02] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Let's ignite."

[11:10] As the fight was underway she would clash fist with blade as her flames coated her sword and guided her strikes. Flames searing all over Uri's visage hopefully do his affinity it would not hurt him as much.

"Let's go Uri.. Turn it up. Go higher. GO HOTTER AND LET IT EXPLODE NOW! REBIRTH INTO SOMETHING WORTH BEING CALLED A PHOENIX STOP LETTING YOUR LIMIT HOLD YOU BACK!!"

With that Faira would hope this would trigger something in her brother knocking him aside with a blow from the hilt of her Flame Blade she would quickly after the bout was decided try and force the blade into his head. Knowing like how she would practice. Life and Death will always bring those in its path to a new realm. Now was Uri's time.

"Ignite.. please.."

[11:14] She walked back into the dojo. Still seeing the two fire magi try there hearts out for power but why? It was something that ran through her mind and she never did get it. Other's weren't naturally attuned with pure flames like herself.

Tapping her chin a bit she watches..

[11:18] The flames were painful! But, during this, he felt something odd, something strange... The fire from Faira did not hurt as much as it normally would. They burned still, but, perhaps because of the aura he was struggling to maintain, did he also manage to fight off a bit of damage. "Geh!!" The teen grunts in this painful attempt to fight.

"It's like its...Eating away at my mana... Rapidly." He struggled to stance as Faira would come down onto him with a might finishing blow. The flames of a golden spark shattered by the power emitting from the Wildfires of Faira. And down onto his back did Uri go, slashed down by the Flame Blade!

"Ignite..." Uri was frustrated with himself, but, yet there was some hope. Deep within as his eyes lay upon the last of those golden embers. He pants lightly, helping himself up, staring into the ceiling, for what he saw was just an image... Maybe it was him hallucinating or maybe it was his star, Anos, finallycalling upon him... No matter, this image was a beautiful one, and a clear picture of what his goal is. "Never forget, never give in." The teen got up. Now, he would take some time to meditate, to focus on why he was becoming a Phoenix.. It was not to become the strongest fighter, but the one most willing to defend, to mend, to enlighten.
