  1. Of all people, this would be the probable one; after all, Wano is actually rather known about manifesting energy of all kinds.. and as much as he could walk this path alone, and even succeed eventually - it's something that would take him much, much longer.
  2.
  3. And time is commodity he cannot spare so frivolously. So instead..
  4.
  5. "Hello, Wano."
  6.
  7. "I've been looking for someone to teach me Energy magic as of late. I already started with Id and I've been doing some exercise of my own- and I've been working on thorough control of the flow, even under pressure."
  8.
  9. "I didn't grasp it entirely yet, though."
  10.
  11. If Nerin is far enough to actually be able to learn something new, on top of what he already knows.. then why not?
  12.
  13. "Do you think you could help?"
  14. (Nerin)
  15.
  16. Off to the sidelines, the felinae observed the surroundings. Only coming to close his eyes shut once seeing it come to an end. And in those brief moments they allow their mind to wander, "Hm...?" Lacing both arms beneath his chest, emerald eyes reopened in the mans direction.
  17.
  18. "Hm..."
  19.
  20. They continued on, examining nerin closely before suddenly coming to seat himself on the ground. "C'mere…" His voice cold and swift. Patting the spot in front of him. "Sit facing the other direction. If you've trained as hard you say you have... I should be able to see what you're lacking. Through your circuits." Sucking at his teeth the Click, Clack! of his tongue fell silent with his words.
  21. (Wano)
  22.
  23. That's.. rather an odd request, truthfully, but he decided to not really say anything about it. On the contrary, whatever could actually help him out with what he struggles would be good.. for the times to come in his life would not be easy at all. And so, when Wano remarks that he would need him to sit down and face in another direction, he obliges.
  24.
  25. "Very well."
  26.
  27. Here, where he steadily takes a seat to gaze upon another side and turn appropriately, he seemingly ponders as to what exactly the Felinae had on his mind. If he didn't know any better, he would assume that there's some sort of sight involved.. or perhaps, there's actually a technique that he hasn't heard of before?
  28.
  29. "I believe it's lack of training when it comes to focusing down the flow. I can control it, and accelerate it through my circuits, but the problem is actually putting it to proper use and manifesting it in controlled manner."
  30.
  31. Something that might be the result of his rather wild affiliation when it comes to the magic in body. After all, he's always operated as if he were a living weapon.. with wild talent, with immense potential, but unrefined focus that could fire off in just about any direction.
  32.
  33. A testament to that was the little bout he pulled off years ago, back when they ventured from Moonfall, but to digress..
  34.
  35. "Do I just remain still?"
  36. (Nerin)
  37.
  38. "Well... Knowing you, the hardest part would be control." They mumbled back in response, taking their time to remove the gauntlets concealing their hands and placing them once bear onto the knights back.
  39.
  40. "Just stay still, yeah..." Taking a deep breathe, they allowed their swelling pool of emotions to unleash from the palms of his hand. Taking to nerins form like a shroud. The misty sensations vanished as they entered into the mans pours.
  41.
  42. Possibly an uncomfortable feeling to sense the magics of another. And being forced to simply allow it without any resistance. "What I am searching for... Are the points where your mana swells to the most. Since you've learned something before energy. Your lack of control likely stems from the body still not adjusting to the proper commands. Not yet knowing which magic it is you're calling upon."
  43.
  44. A small talk till they finally went silent. Allowing their mind to wander into the images that flashed by their head. Circuit after circuit. The inner workings of the mans body was becoming undone in the cats mind.
  45.
  46. "I can jumpstart. If you'd like... But it could be painful."
  47. (Wano)
  48.
  49. In truth, he disciplined his body too much. For while it's explored, it would seem that the negative feeling already could catch a reaction of it's own- the back parts of the spine twist about, the ivory colors emerging almost as if a spike of bone, but.. through willpower alone and through focus, the bone retracts mid-way before it could truly 'lash out' at Wano.
  50.
  51. If anything..
  52. It seems that his body almost acts on its own.
  53.
  54. For all intents and purposes - Nerin has made himself a living weapon. The predicament is the fact that he's never learned to exact precise control of other magic, but.. it's not like he needed to; so far, his combat with bare fists and legs, as well as Bone magic, it provided everything that he needed, but new times call for new Nerin as well.
  55.
  56. One that could adapt to something entirely different.
  57.
  58. It's easy to tell, too.. for even with the naked eye, the sheer fact his body reacts like this is only a testament to the mark of the magics that Nerin is known for.
  59.
  60. "It's likely control, yes.."
  61.
  62. "And I see. It's.. difficult to tell for me, really." But it shouldn't be for Wano; much like the 'nerve center', the mana swells within his core most often- here, it distributes the surge of subconscious commands, much like the initial reaction that he received.
  63.
  64. "--And do what you must, really."
  65.
  66. "Whatever you think would do better in this scenario."
  67. (Nerin)
  68.
  69. "Well then... Before I begin then. I'll tell you what's just as important to ones will when it comes to harnessing energy. Control." Ironic that it was the same topic nerin found most of their issues born from. But in reality, it mattered little if one could project their will if they lacked the proper control over mana.
  70.
  71. "Imagine it as this..."
  72.
  73. He whispered, producing a bubble of energy to protect himself from any discomfort Nerin's magic may attempted to bring into existence. "When two wielders of the same magic come to fight. What matters most? Technique… Or control?"
  74.
  75. Laughing lightly. They reeled their hands back. "Control, always wins... And as such, what i'll do to jumpstart you. Is overlord your mana circuits with energy. If you can't control it well enough to release it out from within you... You'll likely suffer some mana sickness for a bit." A fair warning, but nothing he thought the knight couldn't handle.
  76.
  77. Exhaling calmly, they placed both palms together. Twisting at the wrist, they rotated both palms together whilst gathering energy at a rapid pace. Spiraling into existence, the winds beckoned to the amass of mana being called upon.
  78.
  79. "To wield energy, you must visualize what you wish to summon. And use your will, your inner strength. The idea of belief. Not in the world around you, but yourself." With that said, he reeled his arm back and in an instant he slammed the palm of his hand against the mans back. Propelling the bomb to wash over nerins existence like a bright light.
  80.
  81. Dissappearing in seconds are the outburst. The man would likely feel it, crawling, pouring like a broken dam. All the mana converging into them.
  82. (Wano)
  83.
  84. Maybe he needed this push. Maybe he needed something to drift him away- to quite literally rip him off from the similar way of thinking that forces him to keep on going through same way of casting, one in which he becomes the living weapon that only focuses down on entirety of the body.. one upon which he disciplined himself to act subconsciously.
  85.
  86. The entire life he acted on instinct, on raw talent..
  87. But now, he had to act upon his will and desire.
  88.
  89. It's not something that he hasn't heard of before. If anything, Id has provided him exact same guidelines to the magic, and he managed to overcome whatever issues with control were back then. But.. back then it was way worse - for the bones and his body as a whole lashed out at the offender, cutting off the proverbial assailant, even if they never intended to truly hurt Nerin.
  90.
  91. His body acted out of his control.
  92. And he'd rather be the one who dictates the rules.
  93.
  94. "..I can tell. I always felt as if there's something wrong with the way I do magic, as if.. I'm not always the one in control to begin with." Perhaps, he relied on this raw talent far too much.. for while he remained rather capable and still formidable, it was about time he learned some of the techniques.
  95.
  96. Wasn't it?
  97.
  98. While the words are acknowledged, he steels himself in silence.. until it overrides him. Here, it displays the resistance to Wano, one in which he actually attempts to quell it on his own, despite the discomfort and evident pain. While it overrides him, he puts a great deal of effort to disallow his body to purge it, to proverbially 'muscle it out' through and resist Wano.
  99.
  100. For the body wants one thing..
  101. And the mind wants another.
  102.
  103. This is the core of his problem. This is the core of his impulse, of the way he acts- but here and now, he attempts to tame the urge that stirs within. With the brilliance of raw mana coursing through him, there's a shudder that passes his body, the well of sweat gathering upon his countenance. A minute passes, and a half, almost a second minute..
  104.
  105. And only after time of struggle does something begin to manifest. This brilliance shifts with Nerin's focus upon the inner will- to bring justice for the times when he's been wronged, to overcome this weakness, to be something much more and fight for what he believes in.. for something that would stir the hearts of people alike.
  106.
  107. This brilliance shines.
  108. But now, in Nerin's palms.
  109.
  110. It becomes concentrated, urging to be released into a shockwave that could blast off- even now, his hands are evidently shaking, struggling to contain it.
  111.
  112. "Is--"
  113.
  114. "Is it being done?"
  115. (Nerin)
  116.
  117. Watching as the effects occurred, lacing both arms beneath his armored chest. The felinae took a breathe before speaking up with. "Remember that feeling, Nerin… Of being overwhelmed, like a tea kettle. Before you can release. You must build it up,…" Watching now as the magics gathered towards the ends of both of nerin's hands.
  118.
  119. The cat leapt forward to ensure no collateral damage would do harm to the building. Bracing his arms out in mans direction a single nod of his head was had.
  120.
  121. "Just let it all go, because that's the meaning behind it all... To allow our emotions the time to build up, then release them as something else, something tame."
  122.
  123. Between the both of them, the air grew silent. Drawing out from within his own reservoir of mana. He projected a shield around himself. Layering them one after another. If only outof respect for the mans strength.
  124.
  125. The felinae expected it was better to prepare for the attack than think less of it. In the end, should Nerin fail to release what's been built up now. They'd likely suffer for sometime. The backlash caused by hesitation.
  126. (Wano)
  127.
  128. For all that has been gathered, there must be resolution. The welling up energy within the palms of his hands was something most unusual, something that he didn't quite anticipate to harness now, but.. unless he actually cared enough to show so much effort, then surely it wouldn't be possible?
  129.
  130. "Something tame.."
  131.
  132. Almost as if repeating Wano's words, he couldn't help but feel that the welling up energy is tempted to be released as something much, much more fearsome than could be anticipated.. that it swells within his hands with the sheer danger present on his fingertips, as if it could explode just about any moment..
  133.
  134. If only then, he decides that hesitation would not get him anywhere at all.
  135.
  136. Inhale, exhale. Here, the brilliance shown in the welling flicker of blue would steadily flow unto the built up shield made by the Felinae- where the raw power was expected to blast out something, but.. he didn't come here to display his raw power, did he? He didn't come here to damage something..
  137.
  138. He came here to learn control.
  139. What better control but that of his own strength?
  140.
  141. Nerin is capable of more than this.. but instead, it's released at precise, pin-pointing manner against the shield, in which it impacts the said shield almost as if it were a horizontal line - steady, tamed enough to not inflict any real lasting damage, but the continuous flow of energy that escapes him.
  142.
  143. Here, even Wano could tell - Nerin is doing his best to remain in control. Always.
  144.
  145. "..I think I made it."
  146.
  147. Or at least, it looks that way. The focus, the belief that he held in his mind.. it certainly helped.
  148. (Nerin)
  149.
  150. Being approached by nerin after they'd taken a few lessons prior from others. Still struggled to find the means to obtain the control needed to progress into the art of Energy Magic. With that in mind, wano takes into account their prior lessons and gives Nerin the boost they need. After thoroughly examining their circuits, finding the root of the cause being the bodies lack of awarness due to late learnings. The felinae decides to jog open all their circuits at once by pouring in his own mana all at once.Testing nerins resolve. The sight of releasing all the pent up mana displayed to the cat. At the very least now, nerin could went beyond simply understanding the foundation to manifesting the art, but feeling it.
  151. (Wano mentoring Nerin)
  152.
  153. Bracing themselves for impact, they masterfully melded both collisions of energy into one. Much like a baker, they spun their hands from within the barrier as waves of energy were went off in the felinae's direction.
  154.
  155. Converging them to a whole until after sometime. A sight to behold manifested between them. Spiraling at the center, an enormous ball of energy amassed itself above the two.
  156.
  157. And with every breathe the felinae took, they displayed what control they honed throughout the years of practice. A masterpiece to those whom sought after greater depth to the art.
  158.
  159. Albeit, it lasted only brief as the felinae shut both palms together. Shattering the object between them and release a brilliant light lasting for a few seconds.
  160.
  161. "Alright... Did good. Like I said, remember that feeling, at the very least now even your body can come to understand the foundation. Really, it's the harshest experience, but the quickest for the needy." The complained. Massaging the nape of their neck, turning off to the arena.
  162.
  163. "Sure in time you'll find yourself and your mind exploring different ways to expand on the magic."
  164. (Wano)
  165.
  166. It's a rather strange feeling.. to hold onto the raw manifestation of Energy this way. How could he ever forget beholding to something like that.. especially when he was bound to relying upon his body alone? How could he ever forget this feeling.. when it's become something so unique to him?
  167.
  168. Here and now.. it was a step in a wholly different direction. A step to the place in which he would become something more- something refined, controlled, focused.
  169.
  170. "I will remember this."
  171.
  172. "Thank you, Wano."
  173.
  174. Though.. as much as he was ready with the complexities of the energy, or at least the beginnings of it, he also knew that there would have to be more done in that regard, that there's something else which awaits him before he could truly believe that it's over.
  175.
  176. Much, much more.
  177.
  178. But that remains a conversation for another time, for he's had at least several more people to visit in the following days- more to be done.
  179. (Nerin)
