  7. ==========Visitation======
  8.
  9. I'd like to think there are other contributing factors in such an encounter. If people truly are far, far, smaller than your average pony...
  10.
  11. >You awake with a groggy start, bed creaking.
  12. >The clock by your bed says it's a very meager five in the morning; not even the sun dares cast it's rays yet
  13. >Why were you awake?
  14. >A steady thud comes from outside, like a large animal encroaching on your home.
  15. >It's either bigfoot coming out from the forest to kill you like you always knew it would at some point after the neighbors disappeared last year, or you're dreaming again.
  16. >You slap yourself a few times to test the dreaming idea, and despite the sensation, you have not awakened.
  17. >The thumps start again and truly you are awake at this point.
  18. >You knew this home out in the woods was a stupid idea, but nooo, only place you could afford with some land on it.
  19. >You have an inkling of an idea, a desperate hope it might not be the Sasquatch.
  20. >You hastily get dressed and stumble outside the front porch, light flickering on.
  21. >The thumps are loud now.
  22. >Something big is approaching you.
  23. >Is it what you hoped, or what you dreaded?
  24. >You can't see anything of it in the dark night until it enters the circle of porchlight.
  25. >A hoof, a hoof!
  26. "Bigpony, welcome to my humblllll...."
  27. >You trail off as you see a pony alright, but not the one you hoped for.
  28. >It was not a cuddly colossus, but about the size of a regular horse.
  29. >Not even amazonian scale, really.
  30. >At the exact same time, both you and the pony admit something.
  31. >"You're not giant," you both say as if that was naturally how it should have been.
  32. >The pony stammers for a moment.
  33. >"B-but, I, you, you're supposed to be huge!"
  34. "What?! No I'm not, you are!"
  35. >"Nuh uh! I read it on the internet! You were giant compared to me and I was supposed to hide in a pizza and-"
  36. "Wait, wait, pizza?"
  37. >"Yeah!" she nods enthusiastically.
  38. "What's your name?"
  39. >"Clay, you know, the darling little 'miniponi'?"
  40. >Wait, is that why she's not any bigger?
  41. >She's tiny compared to other ponies, so if you were also tiny compared to them, she'd be about the size of the thing standing before you now.
  42.
  43. >Of all the possible canon or non-canon characters visiting you, it had to be this one.
  44. "What did you expect? My house isn't nearly big enough."
  45. >She shuffles her hooves and looks down, embarrassed.
  46. >You just cross your arms over your chest.
  47. "I mean, really, how was this ever going to work out? Was I just going to magically pop out and be huge or something?"
  48. >"Um..."
  49. >By the way she looked at you, the answer was a most definite 'yes.'
  50. "Damnit, Clay."
  51. >"What? Oh come on, I'll even settle for some shrinking! Don't you have alchemy or magic or something here too?"
  52. >She was getting desperate, stomping her hooves nervously.
  53. "No, Earth doesn't have that stuff."
  54. >She begs you as you open the front door and step inside your home once again.
  55. >"Please! Just do what you did to make yourself small like this and shrink me too!"
  56. "That's not how it works."
  57. >Your excitement for the morning deflated, you start back towards the bedroom.
  58. >You hear some rustling and she's now sticking her head up against the window.
  59. >"I want my giant human cuddles, anon! You said you were giant!"
  60. "No. Goodnight, Clay. Come back when you're huger."
  61. >"I'm not leaving 'till I get my lewd and cuddles!"
  62. "Clay, you could barely fit through the door."
  63. >"Can too!"
  64. "Naaah."
  65. >"Anooon!" she whines.
  66. "Clay, please g- actually, I have an idea."
  67. >"Huh?"
  68. >You disappear inside and come back out shortly after with some pictures.
  69.
  70. >You shove them in her horsey face and she looks them over for a second before a rosy tint grows across her face.
  71. >"Oh my. L-lewd."
  72. "Take them, and go home, Clay."
  73. >"Yeah, I can do that."
  74. >The pony leaves the scene and you are at peace.
  75. >Elsewhere and later, in Equestria, a tiny pony stares at a collection of pictures as she walks home.
  76. >That is, until she is interrupted by a larger form who was also on an early morning walk.
  77. >"Oh, good morning, Clay."
  78. >"Good morning," the miniponi blurts out absentmindedly.
  79. >The larger equine leans in closer.
  80. >"What do you have there?"
  81. >"Oh, just, pictures."
  82. >"Is that anon guy you were obsessing over?"
  83. >"Yeah, great guy, you should go meet him sometime."
  84. >"You actually found out where he lives?"
  85. >"Of course I did!" she says, but then some unspoken realization strikes and she slyly adds in one more comment.
  86. >"You know, he mentioned you too, and he says he'd be super excited to meet you."
  87. >The massive pony tilts her head to the side quizzically.
  88. >"Is he really that nice?"
  89. >Fortunately she didn't seem to read Clay's devious expression.
  90. >"Y-yeah, of course he is! You know I showed you a couple of times when they mentioned you too, right?"
  91. >"Oh. But what about those other things?"
  92. >"Pshaw, it was just a running joke. You know, more advanced comedy."
  93. >"Really?"
  94. >"Yeah, really, he's uh, an intellectual, you know smart humor is. Go get him, girl! Here's his address."
  95. >"Oh, okay. I'll go say hi later, looks like it's not that long of a trip."
  96. >Clay just nods.
  97. >"Yep, now if you'll excuse me, I've gotta go get these pictures framed."
  98. >"Offly strange snapshots."
  99. >"Well he's an artist type."
  100. >"Oh? And he's artist? Maybe I really will go visit tonight. See you around, Clay."
  101. >"Bye."
  102. >Clay waited for the truly big pony to leave before she looked back down at the pictures.
  103. >Each one was a low-angle, close up shot of a human's hands, feet, and mouth to give the illusion of the subject being massive.
  104. >"You better enjoy what I just did, anon."
  105. >She bites her lip.
  106. >"'Cause I'm enjoying what you did."
