  1. "Do what you must Yena, I won't fault you for leaving the city, you're my friend you can always come back when you are ready." He stops and rubs at his eyes for a few seconds, he was tired, he couldn't sleep, he was stressed. Everything involving his personal life was stressful, a dead bride in ashes was sent to him, he was looking for hope that the King didn't do anything rash but he did.
  2.
  3. Ace couldn't do anything about it, he pushed it aside! His people mattered more than himself, surely that was the way to go about ruling as city, he didn't wish for revenge right now, he wanted the best for his people. "The day could be better in some ways..." He drifted off as the rubbing stopped and he looked over to the Stonetooth descendant. "You needed to speak to me about a letter, right? I'm available now unless it was meant to be private."
  4.
  5. A yawn was made as his hand covered up his mouth, he really needed to seek help from somebody, he needed somebody to vent to again, maybe after all of this stuff was out of the way he'd do just that. He could calm down a little bit, decide what to do.
  6.
  7. "I'm pretty sure it will all work out, Yena." A smile and nod was given after this was said.
  8. (Ace D. Deva)
  9.
  10. Weiss had risen early that morning, he left the hostel and since it was completely out of money, and he and his brother were beginning the adventure finally he decided to use the money that his parents had left him, he then went to Frostvale blacksmith and there he bought new equipment, a tough armor and a new sword he could handle, and then using a magic ball that he remembered his father's vaguely using Weiss charmed his sword with the power of light, he was finally equipped and ready enough for your adventure really began.
  11.
  12. As he passed the blacksmith he had noticed an uproar among Frostvale, the place seemed too busy, Weiss did not want to get that through, so he just decided to get away and seek information on such an uproar.
  13.
  14. Next to his inn, in a bar, he found two people talking at a table, Weiss then thought it would be a good idea to ask them if they knew something. Weiss approaches the table and makes a slight movement with the head in order to fix his hair.
  15.
  16. "Excuse me, sorry to interrupt the conversation of you, you could inform me about what's going on Frostvale? The place seems busier than normal."
  17.
  18. Weiss then looks at the two individuals trying to observe how they act.
  19. (Weiss von Loreheim)
  20.
  21. "Two men were killed by cultist! The former Jain and the former Sacra." He stated rather quickly before he clasped his hands together and bowed his head. Of course that wasn't really what happened, nobody knew what really happened, nobody was there and so! He decided to tell it how everyone should see it. It seems they were having a talk among themselves and the cult showed up and started to fight with many people, including myself and then..."
  22.
  23. He shakes his head and shrugs, he looked pretty calm about this whole thing as well and tired. "The Jain and Sacra were both found dead in the throne room." A nod concluded his words and he pointed around to Frostvale, things were calmer now, less people were raising up to do much, people didn't seem to care about him wanting to be king.
  24.
  25. "That cause an uproar of course, an empty throne, people gunning for it and such, Frostvale and its people came to a conclusion and decided I would be king with a council..." He drifted off as he went to look at the boy that wasn't even much younger than himself! "Unless people still have a problem will be becoming King! That is why I made a rally to attend, for those who wish to express concerns and to bolster ourselves back up."
  26. (Ace D. Deva)
  27.
  28. Yena can always come back when she is ready? Well, that is reassuring, yes. People would probably forget about her if she vanished anyway. She isn't the first thing that people notice, she's just that one person beside the soon to be King of Frostvale. Would it all work out though? She isn't too sure that it'd work out. She is actually doubtful all would be well in her absense.
  29.
  30. " Okay. "
  31.
  32. The child stated, stirring somewhat in her seat. She should prepare herself for the journey back to the hazardous north beyond Frostvale. A place where she'll likely be alone for a long while until she is truly ready to embark back to Frostvale. Though, the little girl shouldn't worry about it right now. She should try to enjoy this time which she probably won't, but she'll still have to try.
  33. (Yena Kombethe)
  34.
  35. "Wow"
  36.
  37. Weiss is openmouthed to learn about what happened. 'Two formers? How? 'Weiss then looks toward the city center. "An empty throne, hmm ..." he puts his arms aside and try to reflect a little on what
  38.
  39. "I think I agree with you, but what will happen now in Frostvale? There is no successor? I do not understand much about the high council and things related to politics."
  40. (Weiss von Loreheim)
  41.
  42. "Many people wish for me to take up the throne and do great things, we are pushing to make that happen..." A slow nod was given it was simple in his mind, attend the rally, talk to those that didn't wish to support him and convince them otherwise. After that they could talk about what was to be done and they could a party and be happy except for him. He was eternally sad right now and he needed saving from it.
  43.
  44. So when will you head back, Yena?" He asked as he lightly tapped the table, there was a little bit of talking going on and it wasn't too important to his goals right now. Yena of course wanted to go back home, that much was a given but, he also would like her to help out the Nivis, train and stuff.
  45.
  46. "I'm only King until the successors show up or become of age, after that I will give them the throne, willingly." A nod was made, of course he'd hand it over no fuss, he was only ruling because they needed a ruler. If they didn't find one they'd get ran over quickly and that wasn't what he wanted to happen.
  47. (Ace D. Deva)
  48.
  49. " Soon. "
  50.
  51. The child's word escaping her lips to inform the Deva. Though, Ace could always propose something that could make her reconsider. It isn't an urgent matter, the north will always be there. She just needs to return to learn of her clan's history, and complete the trial that the Primordiel Ice Spirit had set out for her. After that, the gifts of power will all be given, and she can start.
  52.
  53. Yena wouldn't deny any requests, maybe sometimes she wouldn't answer those requests, but the point is? She'll listen to Ace like she had listened to him ever since they first met. It'd continue to be that way until she'd die, most likely. With a hand resting on the cloaked weapon, the girl continued to stare at the pureblood.
  54. (Yena Kombethe)
  55.
  56. It's been...what? Two or three years since he was last in Frostvale? Whatever the case may be, he was here now and with only one purpose in mind; Ace. He wanted to see how his friend was doing, remembering faintly that he lived in Frostvale and with what happened recently, he was fearing for his safety. His and Yena' and Ollie's. There wasn't a lot for him to do in his own city right now other than mayhaps practice holy water...but he did that on the trip as well, finding the occasional hurt soldier or traveller and offering his services to them as a budding healer.
  57.
  58. "Still so cold..." He'd mutter to himself, teeth chattering for a brief moment as he fought against the cold. He'd remember to heat his body with a small dose of fire magic once he walked through the gates of the city, looking as majestic as a freezing hell hole in the North could. How some people could live here was beyond his imagining. Just how much wood did they burn to keep themselves warm?
  59.
  60. Eyes squinting as he caught wind of the familiar looking cap, legs moving a tiny bit faster to get there.
  61.
  62. "Ace!" he'd call after him, waving. "Hey, Ace! What happened?"
  63. (Arthur Kasreith)
  64.
  65. 'Interesting ...' Weiss saw an opportunity in that, knowledge he could acquire more knowledge and even get contacts.
  66.
  67. 'A good opportunity ...' Weiss goes hand in his hair, lifting it up and then taking a deep breath, soon after he exhales, leaving a kind of smoke due to the intense cold.
  68.
  69. "I understand, I can follow you? I will support you, I just want to follow things closely." Weiss says while making gestures with his hand.
  70.
  71. "I'm just a half-blood, I do not have much to offer, but I will always support you if you let me."
  72.
  73. Weiss then has his father's vague memories. 'Humph' Weiss begins to look down, his eyes convey a little sadness, then he folds his arms and waiting for the response of the man, but soon realizes someone behind him waving to the man he was talking Weiss.
  74.
  75. 'Ace? So that's his name, I really had forgotten to ask his name. '
  76. (Weiss von Loreheim)
  77.
  78. "Soon, right." Quickly enough he lifted off his seat and started to adjust his jacket before he looked over to the child with a smile. "It does not matter what kind of blood you have, we are all Drakanite, isn't that what matters in the end?" A questions, one that he didn't expect to be answered because after it he just started to walk off ever so slowly, just like he normally did.
  79.
  80. "All I wish is that the people of Frostvale follow me and support me because I am for the people of Frostvale." A few nods followed this as he walked up to Arthur, his smile quickly fades as he signals the young boy to follow. He already assumed Yena would do so, "I'll tell you about what happened, I just need to grab something from the keep, so we can talk there." Of course he simply wanted to talk to Arthur in private but, he probably did need to grab something from the keep as well.
  81.
  82. "Let's get going." The words left his mouth as he started to walk north, the cold winds of Frostvale berating him as he did so, he was leaving the scene behind to go and fetch something from the keep. He also needed to speak to Arthur and fill out some paperwork, lame stuff that he expected only Ryan to be doing but, now that he was maybe going to be king he needed to get things done.
  83. (Ace D. Deva)
  84.
  85. After a trek to the Keep was taken he noticed that everyone followed the two, he didn't plan for this actually, he was only going to fetch something and have a talk with Arthur before he returned so once he entered the Keep he stopped and turned around. "I must speak to Arthur alone, so you two can stay behind and talk among yourselves, it shouldn't take too long but, I can't say I won't be busy after I talk and grab this thing." He didn't want to be too rude about it but, he just really couldn't speak to Arthur about his personal life in front of others! He wanted to vent to him about something...
  86.
  87. "I hope you understand this! Sorry for leaving you guys behind..." He turned back around and started to walk towards the large staircase that was located in the Keep, the one that led to the throne room, he expected only Arthur to follow this time around so they could speak about some very important things in private.
  88.
  89. Once getting to the stairs he takes one last look around before he starts to slowly walk up them while taking several breaths, he might have nearly been king but, his weight was still an issue. It did seem like he was losing some of it though, not eating does that, being sad and not sleeping does that. Depression does that.
  90. (Ace D. Deva)
  91.
  92. Weiss had followed Ace instinctively, after reaching the fortress, near the throne room, Ace asks Weiss and Yena deem him a little room so he could talk alone with Arthur. Weiss respects his decision and decides to come back. Near the exit of the fortress he notices a man standing near a pillar.
  93.
  94. 'Hmm, if that man is here maybe he's someone important too, this can be good, get contacts is never enough.'
  95.
  96. Weiss then walks slowly toward the man, realizing his huge sword in his back.
  97.
  98. 'Maybe it's a royal warrior?'
  99.
  100. Weiss finally comes close to man. "Hello, I could not help but notice it, my name is Weiss, what's your name?" Weiss says as he waves lightly with his left hand and then makes a slight movement with his head to fix his hair.
  101. (Weiss von Loreheim)
  102.
  103. Reinhard, who had just entered the Royal Castle, had been instantly adressed by a young, surprisingly tall, half-drakanite boy, which was unexpected. The reason for Reinhard to be there was.... well, even he himself didn't know. He had been wandering around Frostvale for a while trying to find an old friend. However, his senses of directions were never particularly good and he somehow managed to get lost around and ended up on the castle. He figured he'd be able to ask for some informations for someone.
  104.
  105. Then, wiith a fairly surprised expression, he decided to answer the boy and soon proceeded to answer the boy. Fortunately, the boy didn't seem hostile to him. so he wasn't particularly worried about that.
  106. "Ah, hello! Nice to meet you. Well, since you presented yourself, so should i: My name is Reinhard and i'm a warrior. Could you tell me what is this place? I'm a bit lost here, haha!"
  107.
  108. (Reinhard)
  109. [09:21:16] Yena Kombethe: <*leaves*>
  110.
  111. As usual, Dunccan couldn't hold himself from listening afar. Seeing his brother talking with strangers caught his attention almost instantly, but, knowing how Weiss is used to have important conversations with influential people, Dunccan wouldn't dare to intervene.
  112.
  113. Hiding from behind the pillar, Dunccan put himself to think: 'Who was that guy from before, is him so powerful that even my brother would follow him?'.
  114.
  115. Sometime after Ace leaved the place, Weiss put himself to talk with a stranger warrior named Reinhard, and Dunccan again stalked the conversation at range. Listening to the warrior's words, Dunccan started to think 'Even with the tough look, this guy seens to be quite friendly, should i really be here? Should i be afraid of him?'
  116.
  117. Dunccan stare at his brother, waving his hair, and, with a determinated look, he thought: 'NO. My brother would be dissapointed if he see me acting as a weakling. I thinki should.......no......I MUST get in there, i MUST show him that i'm a strong drakonite, i MUST show him that i'm determined to be as brave as him'.
  118.
  119. Deep down, Dunccan knew that his brother would neve be dissapointed over him, but his ego always talked louder in his mind.
  120.
  121. Approaching the couple, Dunccan turned to your brother, with a stoic look in his eyes, and said: "I see you're making new friends, my brother, could i join the conversation?"
  122.
  123. (Dunccan von Loreheim)
  124.
  125. Weiss was a little disappointed with that seemingly strong warrior not be a royal warrior.
  126.
  127. "Oh, so you're just lost, well, this place is palΓ‘c ..." before Weiss could finish his sentence he was interrupted by his brother who gave him a scare popping out of nowhere, Weiss ended up stumbling in shock and fell back.
  128.
  129. "Hey Duc, what are you doing? I was surprised, where were you been?"
  130.
  131. Weiss then rises from the ground, with a little difficulty, since he was not so accustomed to that his new armor, then he's tapping into her pants, the part that is not covered by light armor, and then tidies his hair again.
  132. (Weiss von Loreheim)
  133.
  134. Soon after Reinahard started talking to the young boy, called Weiss, another even younger boy appeared out of nowhere, who was, apparently, Weiss' younger brother. What intrigued Reinhard, however, was why they were both in the castle. It seemed unlikely that people would just allow regular children to enter it. That could possibly mean they had some sort of importance, although they didn't seem particularly special at a first glance.
  135.
  136. Reinhard turned to the youngest boy and said to him: "Ah! You're Weiss' brother, then? A pleasure to meet you as well. What's your name?"
  137. Reinhard was probably being needlessly formal, but his years of experiences taught him to not underestimate kids' abilities and intelligence.
  138. "And also, may i ask you what you two youngsters are doing here? There certainly are more interesting places around.", Reinhard asked, quite curious.
  139. (Reinhard)
  140.
  141. Seeing the reaction of his brother, Dunccan put himself to think: 'My brother shall not know that i was spying on him, i indeed want to know more about that guy from before, but i can't afford to lose my brother trust'. "Whoa Weiss, it seens that your reflex are keen, indeed, i may apologize, i was just sitting out there, relaxing, as i always saw this castle as a quiet place to lose mylself in thoughts" told Dunccan with a soft voice toward his brother who seens suspicious over him. "Maybe", whispered Dunccan, "with you passed more time with me rather than exploring, you would know this".
  142.
  143. Right after that, turning to Reinhard, Dunccan gave a half smile and started to talk: "The pleasure is all mine, may i introduce myself". Dunccan put himself in a stoic pose, staring deep in Reinhard's eyes, trying to hide his usual jitters / joy mix of feelings that always appears when he find a new adventurer, then he told: "I'm Dunccan von Loreheim, Half-Drakonite from the city of Frostvale, and younger brother of the cool hair, white armored guy over there, i'm here just passing the time, as, since i'm from this city, people are already used to see me here."
  144.
  145. "Now", said Dunccan with a intimidating shine in his eyes, trying to look strong to impress both his brother and the though look warrior, "may i know more about your story, big sword guy, as i don't remember seeing you in this city before?"
  146. (Dunccan von Loreheim)
  147.
  148. Responding to Reinhard Weiss says with smile, trying to impress.
  149.
  150. "Actually I was just having a conversation with the future King of Frostvale, I will support it will rise to the throne, even if it is only a temporary successor, at this moment he must be in the throne room having a private conversation."
  151.
  152. Weiss then looks toward his brother and then folds his arms.
  153.
  154. "Well, I'd be more time with you if you would not be disappearing from nothing, in short, try to stay close to me and try not to lose, I'll get in trouble if you lose." Nexon then pauses for a moment to breathe and back looking at Reinhard
  155.
  156. "I think my brother already said what I was going to ask, as a traveler can get lost and come to stop at a royal castle?" he then uncrosses his arms and places them next to his body.
  157.
  158. Weiss then using their experience begins to look Reinhard, trying to determine its strength after a few seconds he draws the conclusion that it is very strong.
  159.
  160. 'Definitely I try to be a friend of this warrior to not be able to make it an enemy, when I have not strength enough to fight someone like that. '
  161. (Weiss von Loreheim)
  162.
  163. The boys were quite curious to know more about Reinhard and, although he usually didn't talk about himself a lot, he decided that it would be of no harm to talk to those young boys.
  164. "Ah, i see you want to know why i'm here. Well, as you probably figured it out on your own, i'm not familiar with this city since i'm usually around Danarium. I've been here only once or twice with some friends, but that was quite a while ago. As for the reason for me to be in the city it's because i've come here trying to find an old friend that i need to contact soon."
  165. After giving this long explanation to the kids, he took a deep breath to relax and soon started talking again.
  166. "As for you, Weiss, it's quite impressive to talk to the king in such young age. I see you probably have a bright future ahead of you. I'm quite eager to see your abilities in a few years. And you too, Dunccan. However, i unfortunately need to meet the friend that i've mentioned as soon as possible, so i'm afraid i won't really be able to continue this conversation. If you wish to talk to me later, however, there's no problem."
  167. Soon, Reinhard proceeded to calmly leave the castle in order to continue his mission.
  168.
  169.
  170. (Reinhard)
