  1. Differences from AGS:
  2. - Missing small frame windows is not nearly as costly (except on good runs in sets 5-6), so it's reasonable to go for 3-4 framers
  3. - Fast first battles are more valuable
  4. - Glass cannon sweepers such as Sharpedo and Starmie are more valuable
  5. - Tanky safety Pokemon such as Kingdra2 are not as valuable since their prolonged victories are likely to cause a reset anyway
  6.
  7. SET 1
  8. 1710-1713: Charmeleon, Elekid, Aron (trade Aron for Ivysaur)
  9. STRATEGY: Swords Dance x2-3 and sweep, only switch if you can safely OHKO with Elekid/Ivysaur
  10.
  11. SET 2
  12. 1831-1834: Hitmonlee, Sharpedo, Plusle/Sandslash (same as AGS, but aim earlier)
  13. STRATEGY: Not much, just brute force with Hitmonlee/Sharpedo and occasional pivot with Plusle/Sandslash
  14.
  15. SET 3
  16. 1734-1737: Scyther, Absol/Furret, Lairon
  17. STRATEGY: Swords Dance x1-2; Lairon is a pivot whenever Scyther can't safely set up; typically several YOLO opportunities here to make up time
  18.
  19. SET 4
  20. TBD (Kingdra/Heracross/Jolteon is good, but long wait hurts)
  21.
  22. SET 5
  23. 2068-2072: Aerodactyl, Heracross, Gyarados/Walrein
  24. STRATEGY: Not much; Aerodactyl and Heracross beat nearly everything
  25.
  26. SET 6
  27. TBD (Starmie/x/x; 2913-2915 is possible but likely too slow)
  28.
  29.
  30. -----
  31.
  32. AGS run times
  33. Round 1 14:43
  34. Round 2 15:57
  35. Round 3 14:00
  36. Round 4 13:52
  37. Round 5 13:46
  38. Round 6 12:29
