+nationalparksign __ Yes. With each passing year it becomes increasingly dubious that there would *not* be a two-way video link which would make it difficult to be dismissed as "pre-recorded".



(Making it doubtable as to being "live" is a necessary part of the trick and helps to eliminate any "expectations" from arising. It also *significantly* reduces the number of potential questions.)



But when you think about it (as opposed to not thinking about it) - *wouldn't it brighten the day of those isolated "astronauts" to be able to see the joy on the faces of all those children*?



_Wouldn't that give them a needed lift_?



Or would it be uncomfortable for the "astronauts" to see children robotically reading out questions that had been prepared ahead of time and which they've heard 1,000 times already?



Isn't it curious that no student (and no adult!) has been trusted to *spontaneously* ask a purely *random* question.



Is it that they think the student (or adult) might ask something "rude"?



Can it be that all of the "astronaut training" and "media work" would render them unable to deal with a "tricky" question and they can only handle questions from a list of pre-approved and overly asked questions?



The fact the *same questions* get asked *over and over* is another dubious aspect.



Is there really no physics student who - off the top of his head - *has a slightly "technical"
 question*?



I am not convinced the "astronauts" know how to do anything. We are led to believe that many of them are former "pilots" etc. - I'd like to some kind of proof of that.



You'd think with their bio there would be footage of them "in action" with the navy or air force etc. Surely *that* would be inspirational to the children? To have elements of "what's possible" that lead to the "dream of space".



Etc., etc., etc., etc.!
