Additional elliad info

Elliad can only transform into medium sized animals at the biggest (preference toward mammals) and of course smaller animals.

Their family and many other shapeshifters can form into bigger and powerful animals and it doesnt takes alot less energy but for elliad it takes more because they are smaller and weaker.

This includes human forms other than their real one they can't do it for too long especially more strenuous forms.

Their family isnt royalty or massivly rich ir anything but they are pretty well of and powerful, working their way up to the top through manipulation and using their powers with greed. Elliad's family are well respected and seen as leaders in the community where they are. Elliad being a small and weak "runt" is seen as a dissapointment causing them to want to work harder to impress their parents/family and make them proud. But after the year's they started to become more bitter and depressed from their parents/family's treatment. Elliad still wants to prove themselves but more so they can prove their family wrong.

Their darker, nihilistic, more bitter personality and how they behave is partially a defense mechanism.

Added to weaknesses: self destructive, when they do have romantic attraction to people they fall hard and have a tendency to idolize that person even when bad.

Elliad has many flings with different beings and when they were younger they fell in love with a few humans at different points in their teen/young adult life up until now all whom broke their heart and betrayed them in different ways and with that onttop of how some humans hate monsters (elliad has faced prejudice from humans their whole life) made their hatred for humans grow. Apart of this is them being rebelious and going against their family.

After one human that elliad fell especially hard for broke their heart elliad's parents decided enough was enough and to end their rebellious streak and make them "useful" to their family by pretty much arranging a marriage which apart of thir parents gaining more power by alliance, ontop of ther family following old traditions. They took advantage that elliad was numb and heart broken so elliad agreed to their parents conditions since they thought being demiromantic and with their insecureties they'd never actually find love again, that it was fine since they'd be well off and live comfortably married to this person, and that their family would finally be proud.
Elliad finally snapped out of it and realized how messed up the situation is and stood up their "fiance" yet again dissapointing their parents and being cut off and ignored by their family and community now having to survive themselves which lead them to moving to salem and into the building.
