SOME BASIC THINGS TO KNOW:

so, i would recommend just creating a "tester" page on rpme bc to me, it's the easiest way to learn and organize.

the screen is like a coordinate plane.

to move a box towards the top, it gradually goes into negative.
if you want to move it down, it gradually goes into positive.

to move it to the left, it's negative.
to move to the right, it's positive.

anything that looks like this: ".something", that's a div class.
anything that looks like this: "#something", that's a div id.
the difference between the two is the div class is what  will contain any and all information or whatever you want. a div id is generally used (least in my case) as a link button.

always make sure your .something's and #something's match in terms of execution. this is a fairly common sense rule but. sometimes i forget. by rpme format, if you put something like ".colorbox" in the 'about me' section, if you wanna use it you have to make sure to use ".colorbox" in the like to meet in order for the item to show up. again, it's the most basic rule but sometimes you just need that lil reminder. ALSO, make sure to give things a fairly descriptive name so you remember what it's for rather than saying "#box1", "box2", etc.

bc if you're anything like me, you will be confused and the coding process will take much longer as you try to figure out what's what.

I also like to occasionally (i say occasionally bc it doesn't happen all the time) put the pieces in order of appearance and/or group all like things together. for example:

now, in rpme, you'll need to use the hide codes and such (just paste it to the end of the code in the 'about me' and you can change the 'jknopf' to whatever you like. it's just used as kind of like a way to tag your code as yours.):
