Protect the boy who is the head of the clan for some reason. Watch the other Shinzus fail and laugh as they die off. While looking for a magician strong enough to free him from this soul-bound contract. Growing in power with fights and everything around him to make sure this will never happen again.

Freeing myself from the control of the Shinzu Family, they captured my character in a contract. My character is forced to protect the head of the family after losing to [Rev's Parental Figure]; he was trapped into a contract. Growing in strength and bound to a child to figure out if suffering with [Rev's OC] is worth it. This or to see if freedom is truly what he wants to have. Learn friendship or go for freedom.

"You killed my Father, Cress Shinzu; I have come for my vengeance. I, Kidōmaru, will show you the true power of a demon."

Placing hands on the ground, a position of all fours was taken. A burst echoed throughout the room as they rushed toward their target with hands ready to give. Exploding into the attack, Kidōmaru leaped into the air to attack. A punch was thrown at Cress that easily was blocked and redirected by the man. Kidōmaru's wrist had been clutched by Cress, allowing him to follow his momentum. It would have Cress pressing Kidōmaru's hand to the ground pinning the boy for a moment.

Cress: "Focusing on vengeance, yet, you can't even land a single punch. Try harder."

Kidōmaru did a cartwheel, pulling his wrist free, facing Cress in front of him again. Kidōmaru repeated the cartwheels to land a few meters of separation. Caught off guard by the failed attempt, Kidōmaru took a moment to process what just happened. Sliding into a stance, Kidōmaru placed both hands near his chin with his fist shut tight. Spreading his legs with him standing on his tiptoes, Kidōmaru shot forward. Throwing three jabs with his left hand to punch Cress in the face, Kidōmaru followed that quickly with a cross. Cress backstepped the jabs before turning to the side outside of the punch's range.

Cress: "You are good, but you are not your Father."

Kidōmaru roared, swinging his right forearm toward Cress, following up with a straight to the face. Cress dodged, moving under the punch, not allowing Kidōmaru to get off their next attack. Cress threw a straight kick to the stomach, lifting Kidōmaru off the ground. A grunt escaped Kidōmaru's lips while he was thrown away from the immediate fight. Kidōmaru would try to recover in the air, flipping with his momentum. In the middle of a rotation, Kidōmaru saw the gaze of Cress right on him. Kidōmaru put his arm across his chest in an X. Cress threw a powerful strike into Kidōmaru's chest, further sending him away. Kidōmaru grunted while his body flipped across the wooden floors of the Shinzu clan home.

Struggling to stand, Kidōmaru slammed his fist into the wood, pressing himself to get up. Anger coursed through his body, and the feeling of weakness graced his bones. He was being beaten back by the murderer of his Father, toyed with like some lesser being. Kidōmaru could not settle for less; Kidōmaru wouldn't allow Cress back to where he came from. Kidōmaru was going to drag this man to the same Hell. The same Hell Kidōmaru's Father was sent to, standing Kidōmaru felt two fingers pressing into his forehead.

Realization.

Cress: "You were never going to win this fight. Tell your Father I am sending my regards."

Pulling power into himself, Kidōmaru sent a powerful strike upward, forcing backward movements from Cress. Droplets begin to stain the wooden floors beneath the two of them. Cress touched his face feeling the warmth of a crimson liquid moving down his face. A smile was given to Kidōmaru, Cress' right arm and cheek being scarred. A laugh broke out from Cress' lips until the man rushed down Kidōmaru starting to hit him with several strikes. Cress knocked Kidōmaru away from his position and pinned him on the wall with the force of these pronged strikes.

Sixty-four strikes later, Kidōmaru coughed up blood slinking down in position on the wall. Cress would turn to walk away, about to order his guards to clean up Kidōmaru's presumed corpse. Cress was momentarily stopped; the strength of Kidōmaru paused his action. Aiming to grab the face of Cress, Kidōmaru was not finished, which amused Cress. Four fingers slapped around the grasp of Kidōmaru with those same four fingers lining up on the chest. Kidōmaru did nothing but look down at the final attack that prepared to take his life.

"Finish it then! I will crawl from the depths of Hell to finish what I started! YOU BASTARD!"

Cress would follow up with an attack to the chest, a one-inch punch that would knock out Kidōmaru. Instead of killing him, the attack created a seal around the heart of Kidōmaru. The seal would become a contract wrapping around the core of Kidōmaru to prevent his full power from being unleashed. It was a measure to hold the pressure of the one-inch punch back from killing him.

Upon reawakening, Cress would inform Kidōmaru of his new training. Kidōmaru's Father had beaten Cress in their duel, but Cress would have killed him anyway. Kidōmaru's Father asked for the protection of his son. Cress would honor that, unlike the battle they had previously. Kidōmaru was going to be trained to survive, but instead of living his life under Cress. He would tie the boy to his son. Cress knew his son would become a better leader than he could. He wanted to correct the timeline and made a partnership with Kidōmaru's family. Allowing Kidōmaru to train with the Shinzu to hone his power.

Kidōmaru was against the idea but had no choice other than to take the training. He would be in servitude for years under the Shinzu order working with the leader and child of Cress.

All this seems like a distant memory, something blocked
