- Sophia Rockbell: hello Mord...hello Ehren
- Purely taking his words at face value, he wasn't exactly the best at reading a face when touching this topic. Needless to say he was rather oblivious in that manner. "Mhm. . . That's all." He claims before going silent to listen to mord speak further, it might've been true as ehren held his achievements back and spent more time doing more of duty than basking in what he'd already accomplished, but tis the life of the ookami with a gentle heart, steadily growing more lethal.
- "I appreciate your words mord, they're too kind. But I think anyone could become a knight of the queen if they put enough effort and display their loyalty to the queen." This much he held esteem in, much more capable than most around her, Clio always seemed to bomb ehren with the toughest of missions. "As for any necromancers. . . Mhm, she'd know a bunch I'm certain at that. Recently she revived Drake." He stated, though his final words were rather grim as he'd rather not go into detail as to why the man required to be revived. It was a heavy heart he held over the topic.
- Glancing over he spotted Sophia and giving her a simple wave he made sure to attend to mord first. "Welcome, Sophia. Require anything of the queen as well?"
- (Ehren Kien)
- Drake? Revived? Mord chuckled at that. "There's no revivin' what's already dead. Yer just givin' him another lease an' time at bein' corporeal. Still, I gotta wonder... why'd the Queen bring him back when she was the one, or at least she was the one who ordered his end?" Some words were best left unspoken and simply implied, no matter how thinly veiled they might be.
- Mord had to press on though, despute Ehren's reluctance. He too had this connection with the man in question... Maybe the Queen just wanted to have another plaything? Ever thought of that Mord? Another pair of hands to wield the sword for her, another goon to keep her enemies far. He seemed startled upon his mind arriving at this conclusion. That was his throughts right? They seemed to sound so different.
- "That's uhhh... right..." Oh yes, Sophia! "Nice of ya ta drop in an' join us Sophia... Got any work for me today? You've been busy doin' Legion stuff and research I bet." At least that makes one of you, right?
- (Mord Thal'mon)
- Sophia sat down on the bench with her legs crossed, just as she looked towards the ookami and masked man, smiling faintly as she shook her head to Ehren's question. Her hand moved towards her chin just as she responded towards him calmly. "I am more of visiting to hear stuff Ehren, I am used to visiting you all more or less often, being knight and all." she explained bluntly with a smirk.
- With that she looked towards Mord and chuckled lightly before deciding to respond to mod as well, staring at his mask while humming quietly. "Work for you? Perhaps, I am currently dealing with one thing but need to find out if you are suitable for it." she said with a chuckle just as her skin lost the remaining bit of her color before she suddenly bent down and began to vomit again with her stomach's mutation made her aware of its existence.
- Nearly instantly her hands locked around her own stomach as she began to sweat, cursing quietly as she gave the two a pained smile. "S-Sorry...the stomach...still didn't heal up...properly..." she mumbled out, with her panting loudly and her heart beating painfully in her chest.
- (Sophia Rockbell)
- A sluggish shrug of his shoulders, in all honesty he'd yet to meet up with drake due to his duties at knight. Though he planned to in due time. "You're right. . . As for why, it was the queen. . . You'd have to ask her yourself." He claims, already knowing the reason, but feeling less inclined to disclose her information. "Anyway. . . It's good he's back now." Although his existence was another strain on the lifestream, something that bothered him greatly, torn from the inside he merely kept his thoughts to himself.
- "Ah. . . Just here to listen?" He mumbled, running both hands along the handles of the throne. "Well, Mord. . . If you wish to speak wi---." He paused as he watched Sophia grip her stomach in pain and another sudden case of vomiting. Was the kaors blood really that bad for ones body? Why did she desire to ingest such a thing? Ehren could be seen with a weak expression, pained to see her like that.
- "Mord, if you can. . . Take her the infirmary, please. I'll make sure I speak with the queen on your request." He claims, falling silent as he placed his chin up top of the palm of his hand.
- (Ehren Kien)
- Sophia Rockbell: D-Don't...I will be fine...
- There would be no easy answers to his queries about Drake it seems. So Mord lets the matter drop, and decides to pursue it at another time, maybe even follow Ehren's advise and consult with the Queen personally regarding that matter. There were matters more pressing at the moment!
- In quick strides, Mord found himself standing next to Sophia. Those tendrils of his, seemed to soften and expand in anxious anticipation should Sophia lose her footing or collapse because of her apparent discomfort.
- "Of course Ehren. Sophia? Ya don't look so good... but maybe we should take precaution an' go to the infirmary. Whatever test for suitability ya got fer me, it can wait till yer better." He holds out a hand in invitation to assist and bring Sophia to the infirmary.
- Which was quite frankly a relief, because he could very well have done that gesture, only with his tendrils this time. Only that would be creepier.
- (Mord Thal'mon)
- Rose her hand up as if asking the others to stop, with her slowly using her powers to clear the mess before wiping her face and soon smirking faintly. She cleared her throat before addressing the two while still panting loudly. "S-Stop...seriously, let me explain before deciding to drag me to infamary again..." she mumbled out before groaning and wiping her forehead from the sweat.
- After a moment she regained her breather and soon resumed her explanation, with her deep voice. "Its..the kaor blood...but its causing changes to my stomach...sometimes it happens more rapidly...like now, I need a moment to breath and perhaps rest and not medical help...last thing right now is the mutation to be halted half way through...got it?" she asked with stern look sent towards the two, trying to make sure they understood what she meant just as her stomach growled loudly, forcing her to scowl.
- (Sophia Rockbell)
- There was still a worrisome look upon his face after hearing Sophia talk. It mattered not what she spoke, he still felt inclined to fear for her health. "If you say so. . ." He mumbles weakly, a sigh released as lips pressed together into a frown. "I would suggest to at least try not to vomit all over the place though. . . If only because it makes everyone worry far more than they should." He claimed, his tone of voice empathic to her cause. The work she did seemed rather dangerous, but who was he to judge? Ehren had some serious stuff himself.
- "Whatever the case may be, you should be cautious from now till you're fully healed, Sophia. The last thing we want is hear you've passed away." He explained as heavy as his heart was it would only worsen upon such news being given. "Anyway, mord. . . Anything else you desire to speak on? Maybe idle chatter. . ." He mumbles towards the end, it was rare he got to speak casually amongst people. Everything was rather. . . Business like for the ookami lately.
- (Ehren Kien)
- "Understood. It's best yer seated then..." Mord stepped back, those tendrils of Umbretarn began to withraw back into his form, some would slither back into the many nooks and crannies of his armor and cloak. "I hope you don't mind me askin' though, but why subject yerself to such an ordeal of takin' in Kaor Blood?"
- He watched her, those deep-set eyes staring from behind the plague-doctor mask. He briefly turns to address Ehren's query though. "Don't worry Ehren...now that I'm employed by the Legion, yer gonna be seein' more an' more of me. Assumin' that I'm not busy doin' patrols or aprehendin' miscreants of course. Those aren't really my specialty, but I understand with the mantle, comes responsibilities of all sorts. But as fer now, I got no further requests befittin' a Knight of the Queen."
- Turning back to Sophia, Mord would remain standing not too far from her and speak. "Fine, since we're not movin' ya anywhere an' yer fully in control with whatever mallady that is, I might as well ask, what sorta job or project would you be wantin' ta test my suitability for?" Let's hope its not Kaor Yokai fodder, right, Mord?
- (Mord Thal'mon)
- She stared between the two with faint smile, just another growl escaped her stomach, forcing her to pant loudly with her eyes narrowing as she mumbled out while her own stomach felt as if burning alive with mutation adapting its structure to toxic yokai blood, learning to digest it.
- "I don't intend on vomiting...unless its sudden...but anyhow... I don't know if you are aware of my body's constant changes after I had the other eye attached...but I am wanting to see how far can I go with this...even if in cost of my own health." she explained with her slowly getting better just as she sat up, exhaling loudly and soon adding towards Mord. "We can...see what the mutation does to my stomach...and see about replicating the process on future test subjects."
