  1. Summary thoughts

  3. top level: lots of these things are "buffs" in that the base gem is
  4. better without an enchant but often WORSE when you had the enchant.
  5. this doesn't apply to all builds but i anticipate "average" top end
  6. damage going down a LITTLE while "average" qol going up significantly.
  7.  
  8. before any big "final reaction takes" we need to remember that we are
  9. NOT seeing the transfigured gems and there is a lot of potential there.
  10.  
  11. also, quality stacking has big implications here that we're likely missing
  12.  
  13. also remember, that 20% quality gems will be rarer at league start
  14. 21/20 transfigured gems will be VERY rare for weeks after league start
  15.  
  16. QoL up, power ceiling down
  17.  
  18. Awakened Gems stonks way up, rip divergent melee splash
  19.  
  20. also, lose glove + boot + belt enchants. some of these were VERY nice to have
  21. specifically, many top side trees NEEDED the stun avoid on boots to feel
  22. comfortable while mapping

  24. Lab Running significantly changed: possibly better average returns but lower high end for running high volume

  30. Animate guardian: more life is really good, him dying is worse thing
  31. Arc: nice buff, good qol and even better for ignite (still lower damage though)
  32. Bane: still bad
  33. Blade Vortex: harder to get crit, but potentially high damage ceiling
  34. Bodyswap: possibly insane potential
  35. Boneshatter: nicer before alternate quality, might be better overall need to pob
  36. Burning Arrow: ignite might be playable again, probably not great though
  37. Crackling Lance: INSANE potential
  38. Cobra Lash: much better qol, potentially playable with ailments not sure
  39. Decoy/Rejuv totem: Black Zenith/Flamewood probably huge buff
  40. Detonate Dead: easier to fish for bigger ignite corpse
  41. Divine Ire: really nice QoL buff, overall much more DPS
  42. Elemental Weakness/Flammability: huge ignite buff
  43. Explosive Arrow: single target buff
  44. Immortal Call: 20% cdr really really nice...left click for lazy SC players
  45. All warcries: build in 40% cdr huge qol buff
  46. Lightning Conduit: potentially 52% more damage pretty sick
  47. Lighting strike: :(
  48. Manabond: kinda sick actually
  49. BAMA: ROLL TIDE BOYS
  50. Penance Brand: TLDR
  51. Pestilent Strike: that's a lot of duration, gotta run the numbers

  53. Zombies: GUTTED AND SENT TO ENGLAND SO SIMON PEGG COULD SHOOT THEM IN THE FACE WITH A SHOTGUN .... maybe a Siegebreaker angle?
  54. However: Falling Zombies with Montregul's might be a thing

  56. Reap: kind cracked, nice more damage

  58. Righteous Fire: looks like they killed league start RF :((((( rip Pohx and Void, scaling different, clear potentially better, can't as easily scale Fire Trap for single target any longer. end game RF potentially buffed however

  62. Shova Nova: can get to 85% max shock with new quality...insane with LC?

  66. Steel Skills: they really just want you to impale with them and STOP doing other things

  70. Spark: lost 39% proj speed, huge low end nerf yikers

  72. Maw of Mischief: probably kinda cracked with new 20% more life!!

  78. Culling Strike Support: amazing mapping QoL

  82. Not being able to flip gems = huge GCP shakeup
  83. Ignite huge winner overall (curse duration -> replica emberwake stonks)

  85. Frost Blades probably got some soft hits making it rough to league start
  86. Boneshatter still ok

  88. Cold DoT: losing instant Vortex going to make it MUCH less enjoyable to play

  90. EB stonks probably go up, lots of RMR nerfs

  92. SRS VERY light nerf due to losing 38% more damage multiplier (after scaling) but nice QoL buff, build is fine!
  93. - low end scaling, barely nerfed at all wont tell the difference
  94. - high end scaling...likely look to drop unleash and effectively get MORE damage because we can use another support gem
  95. - also looking for more cast speed because of this as well (duration too?)
  96. - ashes probably pretty sick here

  99. Frostblink Ignite: great soft buffs through curses, potentially much more damage by scaling faster ignites
  100.  
  101. Accumulator Wand & Simplex amulet looking pretty nice
