- After having finished his meal in the Market, Abram had returned to his house. He had a few hours worth of rest then decided to enter the city once again. He opened the door then shut it, locking it behind him as always. Anyone would be able to know where the Bull lived. There was a large sign on the door that read, "Abram's House".
- As he turned around Abram was greeted by a few citizens and Nivis that knew him. Though the encounters were short he continued on and was just about to make the end of his small pathway and onto the main road. He stood tall, high above most in the crowd. His Bull Helm sticking out amungst the people and even the Drakanites that walked around with their Halfshift form.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Finally reaching Frostvale. Algar had paid a few mercenaries to take him on a carriage ride to carry him to the front gates of Frostvale. From there he would slowly climb down out of the carriage and walk off without thanking them. Something had changed in Algar when he had came into a near death with his encounter with Judas. He didn't know his name but he could still hear his fake voice and watch his smile whenever he closed his eyes. Algar swore that he would make sure to crush that older boy the next time he met him. He had came so close after all. But yet he was still defeated. . . . .
- Algar would soon reach the front gates of Frostvale, confirming his enterance with the Nivis guards who were stationed at the front before entering the town where he lives. Upon enterance, Algar would rub the side of his head as he pondered about the voice he had heard when he was fighting the Oscuri. He was thinking about it on the entire ride from Nostvale to Frostvale. 'Allimiker, what the heck is an Allmiker.' he thought as he transvered through town.
- Bumbing into multiple of people as they were sure to walk over him if he would ever fall. Which was easier now since he was still weak from his recovery. His ankles were healed completely by now. But his wrists were still not fully recovered. The doctor in Nostvale had warned him not to take on any rough activites untill 3 months time for when they would be completely restored to its original state. So he had that to worry about aswell.
- Walking through the crowd, Algar would spot a skull helment with two horns prutruding from the top from a tall figure from the crowd. Walking with pride as if he carried a high honor, he stopped every now and then to talk to the townsfolk and even guards before he would regain his stride.
- Excitement bursted through Algar as he would quickly limb to the figure, dodging through the busy streets of Frostvale as he was coming closer and closer to his target. Soon with a burst, he pushed aside a kid as he looked up to get a good glance at the man with a wide smile, his entire face had seemed to light up like the fourth of july! Taking away all the depravity that he was feeling momenets ago. Finally! A chance to see his father! To finally get the chance to see the man who he represents!
- But all he saw was the man who was drinking to his hearts contents many years ago. He had seemed to change his ways since he didn't have a beer hanging from his hands and the lingering smell of alcohol. It seemed as if he was a new man. But just the sight of him made his eyes get low with annoyance, even his smile had faded into a small frown.
- With a deep sigh he would say "Oh. . . it's you"
- (Algar Draconis)
- Just before Abram could walk onto the path he heard a voice. Of course Abram did not look down for the source of the voice, no, instead his gaze swept around directly infront of him. It was not until about a minute went by that the Bull cast his crystal blue hue's down upon the boy. It was a faint memory that came up. One that he thought was some drunken imagination that happened in his sleep or while he was extremely high on Soothe Reed. Shaking his head it must have been real considering the person from the image in Abram's head was there in the flesh.
- "Yeah it is me. You need something?"
- Even though Abram did not like children he was really trying his best to tolerate them more. Bad things happened when adults acted toward children to teach them a lesson in respect. The adult always ended up in trouble with the law and the children ALWAYS got off scotfree, as if they never did anything wrong. Personally Abram thought that was bullshit. EVERY person should be held accountable for their actions regardless of their age. Except for the children from ages birth to three. All those children did was eat, poop, sleep and repeat.
- That aside he crossed his arm's over his chestplate and waited for the boy to respond.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Algar would stare dully at the man who he had once considered a drunk and start to judge him. ' This ol' man really did change from the past years huh. Thought he'd be homeless by now but I guess people can really change. . .'
- Shoving both hands in his pockets and flinching as he he done so due to his injured wrists. He looked down to the side as his cheeks would turn a slight pink color as he was embarrased for asking such a thing to a person he barely knew. He kicked a pile of snow off to the side shyly.
- "Do you. . . . do you happen to go by the name Abram?" he then looked up towards the sky as he continued "A wolf-person named Meiji told me about a man named Abram . . . . and. . . I was just wondering if you just so happened to be him." He said as he tried to keep his voice as defiant as ever. As he stopped talking, he would suddenly look up at the man's face. Staring at the character with his bright crystal blue eyes
- (Algar Draconis)
- Abram rose an unseen brow as they were beneath the protection of the Bull Helm. Was this the kid that Meiji told him was going around saying that he was Abram's son? If so then Abram's world was about to completely change, or maybe not. If the kid wanted nothing to do with him then oh well, he would not care. That aside the Allmiker gave a nod.
- "Yes. That is my name. Abram Allmiker. Meiji is my apprentice, well more like a kid I give combat drills to and he does whatever he wants with it. Why do you ask?"
- Abram was playing dumb of course. He wanted to see exactly what this child was planning to do now that he had the Bull's name.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- As Algar soon had charished Abram's words. His eyes would lit up as the man had confirmed it. Shocking him with unbelievable words. His mouth would soon find its way to be agape as he leaned back in admiration. Was this truly his father who Meiji told him as to how great he was?! How strong he was and how highly praised he was. He did have the title of 'The Bull'
- Algar would soon do a little dance in his mind as he came to the realization that his father was someone to be reckoned with and not some bum. Well. . . . he was a drunk. . . but he didn't care! He finally found out about who his real father was! He had to go run home and tell Kara the great news! But soon he realized that he was acting dumb in person and came out of his little imagination of a party blowing up in his head. In reality, he just looked like a kid who was shocked to find out a super famous celeberity was in his presense and he just had found out.
- Closing his mouth he would regain his usually posture before coughing a bit in his shoulder. "Well uh. . . I just heard alot about you!. . . . thats all. . ." With that, he would slowly turn around and walk away. Hanging his head low, he didn't know how such a character would realize that he had a child that he had never known about before. Would he even accept him? Algar would soon just forget about the whole thing, throw it aside. Atleast he found out who his father was. . . But. . . . He did need some closure. Since he didn't reach to far from his 'Birth-Father' Algar would twist his body slightly to see Abram once more and ask lowly. "Do you know of a woman by the name of Emila?"
- That one thing was the one thing he held on. But if his real father did acknowledge his passing mother. Would it be right to mention his existance to him?
- (Algar Draconis)
- Unsure how to react to the odd actions of Algar, Abram let his gaze shift around the area. It kind of weirded him out seeing people act all excited and gitty for no reason, or at least no reason to Abram's knowledge. When the boy spoke again the Bull gave a nod before replying.
- "Uhuh, I see. Well you probably have heard nothing good about me, maybe a little bit from a few people. Mostly have heard bad things about me, though they are likely all true."
- Pausing for a moment the boy asked him of a name. Raising a brow the name did strike a familiarity in his mind. It must have been someone he knew before, back when he was a hardcore drinker. Thinking a bit longer on it he remembered one drunken night that ended the two, Abram and Emila, in his house. Things went to places and some things happened and that was that.
- "Yeah I know her."
- Abram let out a short answer to the boy's question. No need to go into great detail over it.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Algar would stand there and wait for a few moments before saying
- " Never mind" and walking off. Idiotic, if the man didn't know of him. There was no way that he would've known of who his mother was. Shaking his head slowly side to side, Algar would throw his cloak over him and soon did plan to disappear from Frostvale to be never seen again.
- But he stopped as heard Abram say that he knew her. Upon those words that he said. Algar felt that his heart had stood still. Falling silent as his 'Birth-Father' had said that he remembered his passing mother.
- Slowly turning around, Algar would walk back up to his dad but this time he was staring at the floor. "Well . . . . . She's. . . gone now. . . . " he said as he would slowly close his eyes and kept them that way.
- "And. . . I am her son. . . . . And my sister and mother had told me of you . . . Meaning. . . That your my. . . my. . . father. .. . ." as he finished his sentence, he reopened his eyes and would slowly stare up at his father. Staring at into his eyes
- (Algar Draconis)
- There was an awkward silence between the two of them for a few minutes then finally Algar spoke again. Abram knew what the boy meant when he said she was gone. Abram liked the woman, she was kind. Well what he could remember of her anyways, he was often drunk when around her. Really drunk. That aside he gave a nod and went to speak but fell silent just as the last bit came.
- A stoic expression took the scarred face of the Bull. He never wanted a child and never thought he would have a child but there was one claiming to be his. After a minute or two of contemplation and thought Abram spoke.
- "You are sure about this? Throwing something like that out in the open is very serious."
- His tone was completely buisness now.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Upon Abram's response, he shrugged his shoulders. But more than that, he was more surprised that Abram had just accepted the fact that he was his son. Algar did see that they had the same color of eyes, and he had some of his facial features, execpt for the scars and all. . . Which infact did make his dad look pretty cool. But he was surprised that he didn't want to try his knowledge or do something to prove that he was his blood. But it also did make him feel relaxed.
- "I uh. . . Dunno. I was just curious about how blood lines worked and all since thats what my adoptive family only talks about. Maybe it was closure I don't know. . . . Maybe to you know. . . . I don't know. . . Hang out some time. . y'know. . . I'd just like to be closer to my own blood I guess. . . ." he would then kick over a pile of snow as he was done speaking.
- Switching his attention back to his father. He took another glance at his father's eyes as if he couldn't believe this was happening. He was all excited on the inside by his own appearance wouldn't let it show. But as he stared into his Father's eyes. He saw something, as if his father's crystal blue eyes had reminded him of something. . . .
- "Oh! " he exclaimed right out of the blue, and his tone turning from excitement to being seirous. " I heard a voice in my head one day during a fight, and suddenly it. . . It sounds weird but like. . I don't really know how to explain it but like. . . I felt as if I had a new found strength. . . But it had disappeared afterwards. . . Like now, I don't feel it. Do you know what im talking about?" he asked his father as if he had any clue of what it could be. All Algar wanted to know at this point was if he was going insane from that beatdown, or if it was something else
- (Algar Draconis)
- "I see. Well to Drakanites, Bloodlines are everything. Even to some Humans. I cannot speak for the rest of the races mostly because I do not know anyone from them. Except Meiji but he does not count. But sure we could sit down and talk some time or whatever I guess."
- Abram gave a nod there at the end. He was trying to change his outlook on things and perhaps having a child of his own would do just that. It was a big IF though. Suddenly the boy went off about some kind of rant about hearing a voice and some kind of strength. This reminded him of the Old Goat, Abram's ancestor that had come to him in times of dire need.
- "That sounds like the connection."
- He replied in short then thought for a moment. The boy would have no idea what he meant.
- "When I was around your age I was hearing a voice in my head. He called himself the Old Goat. Later on I found out that he is an ancestor of mine. He uh, well he trained me to achieve the ability known as Ancestral Wrath."
- The Bull left it there so that Algar's imagination would wander.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Algar would smile. But not alot for Abram to notice. He listened to his father words as he told him as Drakanites cared about bloodlines heavily, and that even some Humans had cared about it aswell.
- On a daily basis, Algar wouldn't really care for such a lesson or lecture upon which race cared about what or how but as of now. He listened and paid attention. He then carried on by making sure to try and understand everything that Abram had said. His eyes had even lit up when his 'father' had switched the conversation and told him that the two could sit down at times and talk together.
- Watching him nod, Algar would soon hear his father tell him about something as a connection.
- "A connection?" he said in response and he then waited and listened again to his father explain to him as to what it had meant. Soon Algar would stare at his father in admiration as he had told him that he had the same experiance at his age aswell. But he learned the name of voice. Algar had no idea to who was speaking to him. Then his father would speak of an ability known as
- Ancestral Wrath
- "Ancestral Wrath? What's an Ancestral Wrath? and is this Old Goat the same person that I'm talking to? Can he teach it to me? and. . . and. . ." Algar would go on with tons of questions before coming to a halt. Waiting for his father to respond
- (Algar Draconis)
- "Most likely it is not the same person. The Old Goat explained it to me that everyone will have their own connection. But given that you have my blood it is not exactly too far fetched that the Old Goat would look to you for the connection."
- Abram told Algar then went silent for a few minutes. His mind was thinking over how he could explain it in easier terms for the Drakanite boy to understand. After a while the Bull went on to speak again.
- "The Ancestral Wrath is an ability, a controled aura of power. It is taking their aid, their strength, and materialize it in a sense. It fuels from the magic of Energy, mainly the Energy aura. Energy magic is the most basic form of mana manipulation, at least in my opinion it is. There for it is the most easy to blend other things into it. Does that make sense?"
- He paused a moment to see if Algar could understand what he was saying. After a moment the Bull spoke again.
- "Whoever you make your connection with will be able to teach it to you. It requires a great amount of meditation, work, trust and respect from not only you but from the ancestor as well. I can somewhat show you how to do some of the steps but besides that it is up to you and the ancestor to finalize the Ancestral Wrath."
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Algar would continue to stare at his father as he explained the 'connection'. Nodding and mhm'ing to each and every end to make sure that his father knew that he understood it. But in all honesty, he didn't. He tried to but it had seemed so unnatural that he had a hard time keeping up to it. But in the end, he did get the gist of the 'connection' with your ancestors. It even reminded him of his sister's star. She had a star since she is a cosmic magic user, and he gets an ancestor because hes a energy magic user. Perfect!
- "It sorta does, Dad. " There it was. He finally called his real father Dad. It probably wouldn't seem much to the average kid. But to him it meant the world. Espcially talking one on one with him aswell.
- His eyes grew brighter when his father told him that he could teach him. Which he did love the sound of that. He was usually a fast learner at everything that he had done, but he had never tried meditation before. He always had heard of it due to Katai always asking everyone to quiet down in the house so he could do it. But not once had Algar ever tried it. He just never had a reason TO do it.
- Until now
- "Could you teach me how? I promise that I'll try as hard as I can. I even taught myself how to do. . . ." Algar would start to speak but cut of short as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath to release it to find a blue-ish like aura forming around him. An energy shroud.
- "This"
- (Algar Draconis)
- There it was. The word Abram never thought he would hear directed to him. A word he never wanted to be directed at him. "Dad". Standing there for several minutes in silence. He honestly did not know how he should react so just went with how he usually did.
- "Right. Well it will get easier and easier the more you train and the more you meditate. Suggesting you are actually able to acess the Ancestral Wrath. If your ancestor does not deem you worthy to use their strength then you will not able to create the aura."
- Abram gave a nod then listened to Algar plea his case for Abram teaching him. He was just about to say something when the boy lit up with an Energy shroud. That was just one more step he did not have to cover in the training. Taking a few minutes to really think it over the Bull let out a sigh and nodded. He figured it was something he could give the male seeing that his mom died and Abram did not even know he was a thing up until recently.
- "I suppose I can teach you how to meditate."
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Algar would watch his father seem shock as he was called Dad, but he didn't let it bother him. He was just glad that he had someone to call it and know that it was truly his dad. He would then lean back and listen as his dad would give him advice.
- Taking it all in, Algar would reply to his dad and wait for his acknowledgement in him training him, in which he would agree. Which finally made Algar jump off of the ground and go
- "Allrrriggght!"
- Exclaiming with glee and joy as he landed on the ground. Soon he would go WHOOPS! and return to his orginal postion, blushing embarrasingly.
- "I uh mean, awesome! and uh thank you"
- (Algar Draconis)
- Abram gave a chuckle as Algar expressed his excitement. The boy had even jumped up and let out a exclamation. Once the boy had returned to normal or what the Bull believed was his normal state he gave a nod.
- "You are welcome. Do you have anything you need to do?"
- He left the option open so that if Algar did have something to do he could go and do it. They could have very well rushed into the meditation training but of course people had plans of their own.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Algar would smile as he heard his father chuckle. He felt as if this was the best day of his life. "Uhhh, well there was this one thing. . . ." he said.
- "I had plans to learn how to meditate with my dad, but other than that. My schedule seems open!" he exclaimed. Algar made sure to make his statement sound jokingly so his father could get the hint that he meant him as his father and not his adoptive one
- (Algar Draconis)
- "I see. Well I suppose we could start. Come on."
- Abram gave a nod then turned to his house. He unlocked it and waited for Algar to go inside. Assuming the boy would do that, he went in just after and locked the door behind them. A habbit that proved to be a good thing .. except for when Leyfon decided to break into his house and melt the hinges back together.
- (Abram Allmiker)
- Algar would follow his fathers lead as Abram lead the both of them inside of his house
- (Algar Draconis)
