Face Hugger Pt. 1

"Face Hugger" Part 1                   10-02-08


            Lily Crane watched the snow fall outside the glass porch door.  It was December 20th, and it was cold.  Lily sipped her hot cocoa and continued to watch the snow fall over her small Pennsylvania home.  Lily was 25 and white as the snow that was falling outside; she had long flowing brown hair and green eyes.  She had a slim figure, with average sized breasts.  Lily had broken up with her boyfriend last month and now that everybody knew she was single, they whistled and complimented her constantly, and they wouldn't stop asking her out.  She liked the attention; it made her feel very good.  Lily stood and walked to the kitchen, carrying her mug to the sink.  She rinsed it out and placed it in the dishwasher, suddenly, she felt a chill.  There was cold air in the house. "Must be a window open." she said aloud.  Lily searched the house, but to no avail.  Finally she found the culprit, the bathroom window was open.  Lily walked over and gingerly shut the window, shivering as the cold air wrapped around her skin.  As Lily was walking away she heard a noise coming from the shower.  She turned around and walked towards the shower.  Placing her hand on the curtain she slowly peered inside.  Suddenly an alien looking creature pounced upon Lily's face.  The creature was a little larger than Lily's face; it looked like a giant fleshy spider with grey/tan skin and a long tail.  It's "mouth" was large and looked like a blood red hole on the underside of the organism.  The creature attached itself to Lily's face, sending her back into the wall.  Its legs wrapped around Lily's head and suckled themselves to her face.  Lily tried to scream but found she couldn't make a peep with the creature attached to her face.  Lily hit the floor hard and struggled to pull the thing from her face, but to no avail.  Lily suddenly felt a numbness come over her body.  She stopped struggling and began to drift off.  Just before she fell into her unconscious state, she felt something slide down her throat and into her abdomen.  Then she felt more of them sliding into her body.  Several hours later Lily came to.  She was lying on the bathroom floor.  Lily stood groggily and looked down.  She saw the unmoving carcass of the "face hugger" on the floor beside her.  As she bent down to examine it she felt a sharp pain strike her in the abdominal area.  Lily doubled over in pain, grunting and moaning as the pain grew.  Then, as suddenly as it had begun, the pain ceased.  Lily stood back up and placed a hand on her stomach, "What the hell?" she said.  Lily picked up the "face hugger" and placed it on the counter.  "What is this thing?" she asked herself.  She poked and prodded it for a few minutes, until she felt sick.  Lily fell upon the toilet and began to heave.  Nothing came out.  She stood bewildered and walked out of the bathroom, heading towards her phone.  With the intent of calling 911, she picked up the receiver and dialed the number.  "911, what's your emergency?" the faceless voice on the other line asked.  Just as Lily was about to answer, the pain emerged once more.  Lily looked in horror as her gut started to inflate like a balloon.  Lily dropped the phone and screamed.  The operator could do nothing but listen as Lily screamed at the top of her lungs.  Lily backed up into a wall as her belly expanded to a tremendous, balloon like, size.  She fell upon the floor with great force as she rapidly expanded.  Lily screamed "What the fuck is going on?!?" she picked up the phone with her last bit of strength and practically screamed into the phone, "856 Horus Drive, Union Town!! Please HURRY!!!!"  The operator panicked and quickly called in an ambulance and a large police force to the address Lily gave her.  Lily dropped the phone and moaned.  She grunted and groaned with pain.  Lily Crane had never felt so much pain, or seen a stomach this large and round, her abdomen looked as if she were pregnant with 4 children and was about to give birth.  Lily was horrified at what was happening to her, she couldn't keep herself calm.  Suddenly… her belly burst open, sending fleshy chunks of meat all over the room.  Inside of the hole that was once her slim belly several strange looking creatures were nestled.  They reminded her of dinosaurs, only they had a more alien look than a dinosaur.  Blood flowed from her mouth and nose, she couldn't keep herself awake.  The last thing she saw and heard was the creatures scattering from their home within Lily and the sirens of a police cruiser.  Lily Crane had just given birth to the first litter of an alien creature that would terrorize the small town of Union, Pennsylvania.
