  1. Has anyone ranked with webs, profiles and GSA only?
  2. I always feel theres a small push after making 20 profiles but i dont think that scalling this method and making 500 profiles would actually rank me.

  16. but has anyone here ranked a website with manual spam of profiles+webs on tier 1 and GSA on tier 2? that sounds very oldschool
  17. Does it work now? Profile links are useful for anchor variation. But I don't see any significant impact on the SERP because of it. I might be wrong. Curious to know about it.
  18. Submiting your links to a directory woks the best from the free links, these profiles even wont gonna be indexed at all most of them.

  20. @mindmaster or @Ozzyzig may be able to shed light on this, as I'm sure one of them talked to me about this a long time ago, as a potential case study.
  21. oh yeah ive had some success with ozzys method of shorteners spammed by gsa. that was when i had access to good indexer and gsa though. it ranked me on second page for medium-competetive kw with one-paged emd domain
  22. I don't know about profiles, but for some websites expired web2.0's still work.

  24. For example I built in the past 4 months for one client over 300 expired tumblrs. Every 3-4 weeks 50 new blogs. 1-3 links to money site and 1 random authority website. Spun content with 300-600 words.
  25. The results are pretty nice.
  26. The interesting part is that the website is bilingual, targeting English speakers and another language (European region). And the website is ranking pretty well on both regions.

  30. Second ties GSA, I haven't used that in a long time. Maybe others with experience on that can chime in on that.
  31. For me Web2.0 are still working and they make a huge impact in my sites and also my clients are happy with the rank improvement they got. Of course you have to use a lot of types of links to rank better, but you must focus more on the most powerful ones.

  33. To build all that profiles and web2.0 you was talking about, you may waste a lot of time or money or both. So, you can use that effort to build just few links but are higher quality:

  37. Contextual links
  38. For the GSA part, it can work if you have Web2.0 with no PA as they may need a boost. But I'd prefer using expired Web2.0 like @mindmaster instead of creating new ones and blasting them with GSA.

  40. The short answer for you question is yes, you can rank with them if you're trgeting a very easy keyword. But, if you want to rank for a medium competitive keyword just think about using new methods.

  43. I am not sure about profiles. But as other said, web 2.0 still works. If you got any expired list of blogs that fine, or you can put some effort to make it useful. I prefer to set my own based on my niche. Set 5-7 articles on each blog, interlink to each other, pointing to the authority sites, etc. Then blast all the blogs with PBN links and social share. This specific service worked well for me in the past.

  45. That one is a blast (no pun intended) from the past. In fact, it was that case study which ended up landing me a Jr VIP membership when the competition was going on.

  47. It's a bit tougher now, especially since I don't have a tool anymore that creates a large number of 301s that I'm happy with. I need to do it manually and it takes bloody ages.

  49. What I have started doing though is creating web 2.0s every few days, but not adding any links on them, just content. That way when I do need them for link building purposes, they're aged a wee bit. This is especially true for WordPress and Reddit.
  50. It does work but may not work for all the website in same way. I have seen many times what rank one website, the same work does not rank other website. Even if the niche are same, keyword are same it gives different results
