- Combat was fun, the shotgun and sniper in particular, but I feel the first-person view combined with Resident Evil 7's movement does not mesh well with dodging the enemies, who tend to move very fast and erratically.

- House Beneviento is easily the best area in the game. Because I'm desensitized to scares after playing so many horror games, it takes a lot for them to actually spook me and make me think something will jump out at me at any moment, and House Beneviento did the trick.

- I really like the return of the merchant system from Resident Evil 4 in the form of the Duke. In fact, he even references the RE4 merchant.
