Creatures on Daeldrum

Creatures of Daeldrum (besides normal human life) -

Dogmen - A roughly humanoid dog like creature that preys on deer and other animals, is quite intelligent and they hunt in packs, standing at roughly 7 to 8 feet tall. The Dogmen are also prone to raiding farms to eat livestock and farmers usually have to defend their farms from them, the dogman are also extremely strong and fast, but are fairly rare in numbers.

Genegin - The creature has a but has anatomical similarities to humans, and a human likeface, and has extremely large limbs and/or arms and hands, about 20-30 meters long. The pigmentation of the creature is pale white. They are generally spotted near the poles and are arctic in nature.

Carnolia Bird - The Carnolia bird is similar to an eagle except instead of the white feathers it's gold, a bit bigger, and has a large horn that curls backwards on it's head. They are national animal of some nations.

Shrieking Penguins - Dangerous and predatory birds that resemble penguins but are a little larger, meat eating and stand at roughly 5 to 7 feet tall. They are roughly as intelligent as a coyote or a dog, and have packs that fight and compete, and also cannibalize defeated packs and consume fish in the sea. They make dens in the snow.

Sasquatch / Yeti - Like on Earth's legends and stories, the Sasquatch exist here as a flesh and blood creature that has various regional variations, and are generally around 9 to 10 feet tall. They are elusive and stick to the deep interiors of forests and areas where human populations aren't and often compete with the Dogman.

Picked Seal - They would be similar to seals with the long front legs they would use to pull themselves along the ice like picks and some other fins on their back, and make some weird sound when exhaling through their balleen. They consume both plankton and smaller fish, and the Shrieking penguins can sometimes prey on them but the Picked Seals are strong and have thick hides to deal with the Shrieking Penguins.

Bloops - Large weirdly shaped whales that are much larger than a blue whale. Due to their size they can go long periods of time without resurfacing and are quite elusive and very few have been spotted. They have a long vertical shaft at the tops of their heads that they use to inhale and exhale from.

Puncture Sharks - A predatory Arctic shark with a long Narwhal like tusk that uses its horn to skewer and puncture prey. They are quite fast and large. About as intelligent as an Orca or a Dolphin.

Sea Serpents - Large snake like creatures that are similar to Serpents in Earth's mythology also exist in various areas of the world and act similar to sharks.

Various flying lizards and birds - There exist various flying lizards on this planet, ranging from the size of small Hummingbirds to about 3 times the wingspan of an eagle, and have an appearance to flying dinosaurs on Earth.

Double Finned Dolphins - Some Dolphins here are green, and have double fins and other than that behave and act like normal dolphins.

Intelligent Races:

Goatmen - A wily, crafy sort, the goatmen stand roughly 5 to 6 feet tall. They are wily, crafty, mischevious and are prone to trapping and luring their prey in groups. They have sharp fangs and tusks.

Reptilians - Inhabit some swamps and deserts on Daeldrum, mostly living underground or lurking beneath the mud. They have a somewhat humanoid body structure, 2 arms, 2 legs and have a very primal aspect to them and hunt their prey in pairs. They can prey on humans and other intelligent creatures but in most cases there exist agreements between each race so they don't interfere with eachother's lands. They can be 6-7 feet tall.

Insectoids - Largely resembling preying mantises on Earth, they are mostly a peaceful race that communicate telepathically and inhabit some forests and live in caves they have formed into large hives. Standing at roughly 8-9 feet tall. They don't communicate verbally.

Locust Men - Locust like humanoids that hibernate for a very long period of time underground before suddenly bursting into action and preying on field crops and live stock. They have no real nation and are nomadic in nature, and contacts with other races are rare, and they have little interest in other races. They communicate through hissing and clicking.

Swamp Men - Pink skinned and smooth they more or less have cone shaped heads, black eyes, and various extensions of skin and flaps they are prone to living in the swamps and wading in the waters and standing still, waiting for the right time to strike at prey. They are fairly non confrontational but when confronted they can be extremely violent.
