  1. [19:44] Despite the inevitable unease being shut within such a large crowd warranted, Mikhail had enough collective common sense to not voice it in the midst of such a relevant affair.
  2.
  3. Nonetheless, the rising tension drags his spirits to a disquiet place, and it becomes evident in the physical meltdown he goes through.
  4.
  5. "Break... our enemies?"
  6.
  7. The idea casts a heavy shadow of dejection across his ethos, hunching his posture down - it surely would take him time to fully accustom to Osrona's utilitarian, brutally pragmatic character, but that was a frog he'd have to swallow.
  8.
  9. Because change doesn't wait, does it?
  10. (Mikhail)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. [19:48] There's a dismal, lethargic atmosphere that rids the Imperator of expressiveness. Instead, there's a certain degree of stoicism in expectancy as the magistrate paints a fairly welcoming picture, one that represents not only the both of them well enough, but introduces the theme at hand. One that, admittedly, could have changed the course of not only the nation forever, but the entire continent.
  14.
  15. "Welcome, welcome! I see, most of you are here." An observation cast, once the citizenry is properly rallied. Admittedly, a fair share of outsiders had found themselves hearing the announcement.
  16.
  17. A small simper fights to crack at the edge of Walter's lip. Naturally, he's struggling to contain his bravado and smug flare for so as long as Tanya spoke.
  18.
  19. These sways fluctuate between a minimal dash of transparent concern, before the overbearing nature of the kingpin takes over yet again. As to what may be calling upon more dismal emotion is beyond reach.
  20.
  21. Walter turns on his heel, particularly reactive to the last statement. Whatever lies hidden behind the castle walls is ordered to be revealed to the public.
  22.
  23. Finally, as the imperator gives his order of exposure, a sneer breaks upon his features like dawn on a starless sky.
  24.
  25. His black-gloved hands loudly clap twice.
  26.
  27. "Bring him out!"
  28. (Walter Docro)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [19:48] Rafalle elevates upon the tips of her toes in an effort to assess the 'something' from afar. The Magistrate's words ring like a muffled hum within her ears, though the general message is lucid by the superfluous padding of her declaration.
  32. (Rafalle)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [19:48] {NARRATION} From within the castle itself, the wretched sound of metal on metal echoes forward. The gate groans as it opens before all of the gathered citizenry, and soon they come face to face with nothing less than a large, hulking kaor confined within rows of chains, sunken down into a large, iron wagon that was clearly fashioned for this display.
  36.
  37. On either side are armored soldiers that handle the beast that could very clearly crush them if things were left to a fair fight, and though all of this was part of the spectacle, the bit that attracted the most attention was a thin, smoothe, almost shiny bronze colored collar that ran around the monster's muscled neck.
  38.
  39. Clear and very detailed magitech work went into whatever the device was, and it seemed to all that this was the primary piece pacifying the kaor. Its eyes still moved and looked on, first at the crowd that had come to witness its suffering state, and then to its kin who stood near the back. Did it look to them with betrayal in its gaze? Or was it warning?
  40.
  41. Whatever it might be feeling, the creature chose not to speak, but instead snorted through its flared nostrils once before shifting in some futile attempt at maybe toppling the wagon over. But the chains, the bindings, and the collar kept it in place, weakened and pitiful...
  42.
  43. The soldiers that had brought it forth looked up toward Tanya and Walter themselves as if waiting for a signal.
  44. [19:49] Pachua just blinked after seeing a Kaor that was bounded in chains and shackles. At first, there was a grin, but then his eyes moved over towards the demons.
  45.
  46. How would they take it?
  47. (Pachua)
  48. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  49.
  50. [19:53] Pushing to the front of the crowd, the Imperator's daughter seemed to know - at least vaguely - what was about to happen. Perhaps Walter had accidentally let it slip to her. Perhaps she snuck around and caught a glimpse of things. Perhaps they were simply on the same wavelength.
  51.
  52. But either way, wide green eyes watched the gate expectantly and excitedly, just waiting for the next act of this grand play to begin. As the gates opened and the bound demon was carted out, that expression never faded. The only immediate change was a rising of her eyebrows - intrigue, perhaps, or just curiosity as to what would follow specifically. This, it would seem, was the extent of her knowledge of today's event.
  53. (Olivia Docro)
  54. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  55.
  56. [19:53] The rodent stood by idle, atop their perch and staring on over all those people with dull, fish-eyes. Not a word to say, a mere half-grin as she chewed away at that stub of a cigarette left between her lips.. She was never any good at that anyway.
  57.
  58. Her two small hands were clasped together behind her back and above the base of that metallic tail she had curling around her leg.. There's a pacing, tappy foot where the rat herself was rather excited on what'd be shown today too..!
  59.
  60. 'oooooo boy' Indeed!
  61.
  62. Her grin only grows wider, smug.. er, actually. A few mumbled words to the couple at her side, but that's all after that.
  63. (Misha)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [19:54] Artemis watches with her hands folded in the small of her back, ears flat and eyes narrowed. Her lips press into a thin line.
  67.
  68. It is very, very loud. Her head is absolutely still killing her.
  69. (Artemis Task)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [19:54] "Kekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekeee."
  73.
  74. It was a sight to behold. A bound demon, a kaor. Bolt could only chuckle as he observed the beast. His hand went into his pocket to grab a cigarette
  75. as per usual, another hand went for a match and with a stroke it was lit and placed between his lips.
  76.
  77. A puff would be taken, and then one more before he finally removed it from it's rightful holding place. "Holy shit. That's fuckin funny." Whatever the big boss had instore for them today would go down in history. That's for sure.
  78.
  79. Yet Bolt decided to make no further comments. Nobody had spoken upon, and so he would go back to smoking.
  80. (Bolt)
  81. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  82.
  83. [19:54] Did... Did he have a bit of muck on him? Stavros' face crunches up with disdain as he quickly scans himself over. Suit? Spotless. Gloves?.. Yup, covered in alchemical residue. A low murmur pours for from his lips as water rolls over the attire.
  84.
  85. Thankfully it was one way to quickly clean oneself.
  86.
  87. Sienna beads fixate towards the castle's gate as it groans open. Was this the next step in glory? Walter and Tanya tended to bring out some rather interesting ideas...
  88.
  89. The Kaor, however, was not something the alchemist expected.
  90.
  91. Studying those runes from afar just about anyone could see the wry grin carving itself on his mug. This was something beyond what they had! For now at least. If only Gavriil was here to spit ideas to.
  92.
  93. Holding back the desire to clap the elated Razuka's arms fold tightly against his chest. Peering up between ashy locks he'd chime, "So! How long has that been 'round? Good Septia, tha things I'd do ta see 'em runes..." Lifting a glove to his mouth he'd try to hide that splitting grin as best as he could.
  94. (Stavros)
  95. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  96.
  97. [19:55] Fari'ath would not expect this at all. It was something he was sure they hid for a long time. The demonic blood in his being shifted about from this situation.
  98.
  99. "..."
  100.
  101. He was shocked truly.
  102.
  103. Though in his mind it was something they call fair game correct? Garjing children would never. Still he would wait for the right time for this after all.
  104.
  105. "Ahh this is going to interesting."
  106. (Fari'aeth)
  107. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  108.
  109. [19:55] Now this wasn't how he expected this to go.
  110.
  111. Not in the slightest.
  112.
  113. When they had mentioned showing something off, he had expected some form of mechanical contraption. Which was... Half true here. While there were certainly some form of fancy tech involved here, the base of whatever it was they were showing off was a demon.
  114.
  115. "Huh."
  116.
  117. The Overlord brings a finger to his chin, tapping it idly, before his one-eyed gaze drifts over towards the demons present at this particular meeting. They... They weren't going to be happy about this.
  118.
  119. A few words would be whispered to the Drakanite on his shoulder, before the man would take a few steps to the side.
  120.
  121. "S'real impressive, Walter." The Task called out to his sworn brother, as he got to a 'safe' distance from the chaos he assumed was about to transpire.
  122. (Valero Task)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [19:55] That was a big Kaor, and it was not the first demon Anira had seen. But this one..? This one was not looking down at the crowd. It did not hold the smugness and arrogance which Anira had seen within both Jaegar and Tyranny whenever she had observed them. Or even been about them.
  126.
  127. The clawed wolf shifts her gaze! Slowly, but surely. Until finally? It settles behind her, and towards the two demons she could see within it. The trio knew they wouldn't stand a chance if things got rough... Right?
  128.
  129. But? In truth? Anira expected verbal demands. Shouts of rage. Something like that from the demons behind the group. Her shoulders rose in a shrug! And instead? Her eyes darted back towards the three atop of the keep.
  130.
  131. Tanya? She knew little of! But with Walter and Misha at her side? They must have been family in some way... And even then? Her distaste of most demons made this an easy- no.. No!
  132.
  133. It made this an fantastic pill to swallow!. Her teeth were spread into a sharp, dangerous and gleeful grin. From ear to ear! Which accentuated her wolf-like and predatory features. But? She would say nothing! Not a single word.
  134. (Anira)
  135. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  136.
  137. [19:56] Raeliana was content to perch upon Valero's shoulders despite her own height. She was light enough for him to carry her, no doubt. In truth, she just was feeling incredibly lazy! The bravado and flair that accompanied the particular announcement left the High Priestess with a small tilt of her head.
  138.
  139. Would there be blood?
  140. It wasn't a good announcement without blood, of course.
  141.
  142. Then again, perhaps that was more or less a Therian way and not so much an Osronan way. Yet as the Kaor itself was brought out wrapped in chains and the collar, the Drakanite's eyes widened, pupils thinning into mere slits at the sight. Claws curled into the Task's hair as she'd offer a small nod towards Valero with a painted smile on her visage.
  143. (Raeliana)
  144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  145.
  146. [19:56] Reiko looks onward at the bound demon with a widened glance. It was a demon, much like the ones that have been seen roaming freely, but this one was coated in bindings and chains. It was a sight to behold for sure.
  147.
  148. Reiko wasn't sure to take this as a good thing, or a bad thing. It was bound, could it perhaps lose control at any moment? The worrisome thought made the Kitsune pull out a cigarette and light it for her own peace of mind.
  149.
  150. The Kitsune's ears twitched, listening to the crowds input. She wanted to get a good judge on what was going on and what could be going on. For now, one thought came to her lips,
  151.
  152. "This. . . is really gonna' be interestin'."
  153. (Reiko Viveiros)
  154. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  155.
  156. [19:56] The man's face forms a tiny 'o' in response to the reveal.
  157.
  158. "Now that... is the innovative genius that I would expect from the most advanced city on Esshar."
  159.
  160. Hades takes a few steps to one side to get a better look at the shackled demonkin, arms folded over his chest as the beast snorts through its nostrils. An incredible feat, all things considered.
  161.
  162. There was no hiding it - he was impressed.
  163.
  164. But he had a feeling the demons of the alliance would not feel the same way.
  165.
  166. Eyes flit to the helspawn in the back of the crowd, and the scholar waits to see how their reactions would shift the dynamic moving forward.
  167. (Hades Task)
  168. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  169.
  170. [19:57] Twitch. Twitch. His pelt shivered, and what came thereafter had been surely horrendous. Voraz hadn't known how else to respond, other than with continuous itching. It wasn't per say in revolt, nor disgust at that matter, but broken.
  171.
  172. A glance is shared between their kin. It was a clear warning, but Voraz is far too convoluted to pay heed to it.
  173.
  174. What was the Canine meant to portray...? Anger? Bewilderment? Vengeance? Should Voraz have sought to tear the chains once and for all?
  175.
  176. "No..."
  177.
  178. The beast walks out of it's position, dusting past the crowd. It's stride appears to be almost gentle, but to those with the trained eye, they could view the trail that laid behind the beast.
  179.
  180. Cracks formed in his movement, each step laced with a sweet, merciless mana.
  181.
  182. He shouldn't have gone forward, but his instinct tells him to do so. A paw raises upwards, very slowly. It aims to collect contact with the other's skin, initiating telepathy.
  183.
  184. He makes this all but clear to everyone, that a conversation between the two was to happen.
  185.
  186. "They did this to you, My Kin...?"
  187. (Voráz)
  188. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  189.
  190. [19:58] And then, there was Trik. The aimless, wandering verminkin had arrived. Booze in one hand, the creature seemed perpetually antsy. Anxiety and nervousness seemed to only escalate the longer he was in one place.
  191.
  192. And now? There was a large crowd. A gathering of people. A large kaor bound by strange devices. he wasn't sure what was going on. he wasn't sure how he felt about it. He could only blink and cough at the shocking scene.
  193.
  194. "What the fuck-fuck is going on?"
  195. (Trik Gutterrunner)
  196. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  197.
  198. [19:58] The demon had followed along Voraz to see what was so interesting that the humans had all gathered like so. It wasn't a long wait before the humans vauge as they were began their talks as beastkin's did often with a pompus attitude towards everything.
  199.
  200. As if they owned the world already yet that much could be ignored, As the time went on the Demon would begin to feel trembles as the large foot falls of something large was heading their way closer clanging metals and the hum of magitek all foreing to the demons of the rural Dreadwoods.
  201.
  202. One passed over gaze towards the creature in shackles and Eugo was sent into an instictial rage...Chains...Boundless armor? It wouldn't all at first make sense but it was far too overhwhelming to think one of their kin would be turned into something so repulsive.
  203.
  204. "....."
  205.
  206. Occultism began to emerge from the demon like soot rising and falling, Its anger taking a hold of it, NOt quite as restrained as his Kaor or Ascended counter parts. This image brought an unlikely rage from him,
  207.
  208. "When they said control their enemies....They were talking about us...." The demon said with a sudden realization of what that meant....A red eyed glare would be given towards all the suspicious people of Osrona now.
  209.
  210. This was clearly a betrayal of any good intentions going forwards. Humans and beastkin alike could rarely be trusted it seemed.
  211. (Eugo La Ravias)
  212. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  213.
  214. [19:58] Her heels click closer to Mikhail, and a quick pat of reassurance presses into his shoulder blade.
  215. (Rafalle)
  216. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  217.
  218. [19:58] Anira wheezes and cackles, much like Misha.
  219. (Anira)
  220. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  221.
  222. [19:59] Olivia Docro whispers something.
  223. [19:59] Stavros whispers something.
  224. [20:01] There's a tiny nod offered to Valero, content in her place upon her shoulders, and her smile never faded.
  225. (Raeliana)
  226. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  227.
  228. [20:01] As the loud rustling from the wagon arriving allured the ascendeds gaze over. It wasn't until it was finally revealed to be that of a kaor. Shackled & chained. Unable to truly find freedom with such expansive use of technology restraining them.
  229.
  230. "W-W-Wha… W-What?"
  231.
  232. If they'd a heart? It would surely be beating a thousand miles per hour now. Just as Irkalla proclaimed earlier. A maternal figure towards their kind. It were these instincts that flourished behind the pale expression.
  233.
  234. As if at a lose for words, their hands trembled whilst coming closer to where their core resided. A sense of agony, dread. The essence's accumulated in the being, began, their infectious nature.
  235.
  236. It was a madness, unlike humanities every felt. It was a madness, unique. To a demon as versed in the darkness as the ascended was.
  237.
  238. "Why... My kin?" They whispered, sickly magics manifested with every step the woman took forward. Their head hung low as arms reached out towards the kaor. It mattered not if it met resistance. Tears shed, in the familiar shadow of crimson that illuminated in the night. "Does it hurt...? I-I will... I will save you. Please. Do not worry." Spoken through telepathy, but the turbulence irkalla was going through at the moment left them unable to silence the chatter in their head.
  239.
  240. The bountiful essence's tugging in torture from within. "Nobody can do this... To. My. Kin." They proclaimed, biting their lip as they turned to glare up at the walls where the three leaderships resided.
  241.
  242. "Explain yourselves!!!"
  243.
  244. Fist curling, they twitched down the entirety of their body. Restraining themselves as best they could from simply wild'in out. And attacking everyone in the area. But... Wasn't that bound to happen. If it couldn't receive a proper response?
  245. (Irkalla)
  246. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  247.
  248. [20:02] Walter glares down indifferently, he whispers. "No."
  249. (Walter Docro)
  250. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  251.
  252. [20:05] "Naturally, I'm sure some of you- Will be hesitant."
  253.
  254. Her eyes almost casually drift over to Voraz, to Eugo, to those she recognized as demon followers. There's the faintest, dull grin on her lips, her eyes calmly flitting halfway as she inhales, slowly. The murmurs from the crowd pick up, and her free hand slowly raises, as if to silence them for only a moment.
  255.
  256. "But you must all see this as an investment. This.. Creature.. Was corralled against its will, of course. But it did not follow any sort of code of laws. It did not follow anything but it's voracious will to strike forwards and devour. Little more than monstrous, feral tones dictated the way it would carry itself. Unlike our dear Voraz, in the crowd.. Unlike the others, it was a beast, concerned with nothing but its own well being."
  257.
  258. She inhales, slowly, stepping down to the castle wall that protruded out. From this position, she stood directly above its cage, her amber eyes almost slightly burning with the crimson stardust that so often collected around her. For the most brief of moments, encircled in a shroud of red, alighted with the fires of a burning red star, she almost.. Appeared more demonic than the very demon below her.
  259.
  260. She clears her throat, quietly, enough to catch the bound demons attention.
  261.
  262. "There will be misgivings. There will be fear from many of you. But rest assured, this is merely a measure to bind those whom go against our glorious Osrona. To place in shackles those who are guilty, but who can be.. Recreated, in the eyes of our empire, to turn them to something.."
  263.
  264. The grin on her face falls neutral, for a moment.
  265.
  266. "Better."
  267.
  268. She clears her throat, and slowly, from a pouch at her side, she holds up a remote. It's similar in style to a normal anti magic collar's remote, but glistens with leylines of mana, encircled with magitech and glittering technology that almost looked alien, and likely entirely, to everyone in the crowd.
  269.
  270. "Three commands. Kill. Capture. But in this specific scenario, let me show you. The power of Osrona, and what we will all aspire to become in the future. The power of a thousand minds, working for a singular cause. The power of Osrona's future."
  271.
  272. "Demon."
  273.
  274. She waits for the beast to look up at her, and then, looking not at it, but to the crowd before her, she utters only two single words- A command word, and the command itself.
  275.
  276. "Kneel."
  277. (Tanya Volkova)
  278. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  279.
  280. [20:10] {NARRATION} The kaor's eyes moved to Voraz first, for the wolf was the first of its kind to show some inkling of familiarity and anger at the state it was in. The first thing the other demons would notice was this kaor was no small fledgling. It was akin in strength to any of them, perhaps even on the brink of ascension, if it wasn't brought so low in this place.
  281.
  282. But it would not plead or beg. Even broken like this, even pushed down, it didn't ask to be saved, but likely only out of some small amount of dignity and pride that it wished to keep, some brutish understanding that it was trying to maintain within itself.
  283.
  284. Irkalla's outrage was noted in a similar way before the chained demon was given the order. It fell to its knees, its weight slammed into the bottom of the wagon with a crash, but the piece of transportation was built specifically for this, and so it was able to withstand the blow.
  285.
  286. There the demon knelt, its collar offering a small 'click' sound as it complied with Tanya's commands. Its veins and muscles strained in anger, in building rage, but still it could not act out, it couldn't fight it...
  287. [20:13] For the first time ever, he saw a demon that would actually bow without any question or will to do anything else. In his eyes, this demon was a slave, and as he looks over to the others, they can feel this anger that would start to come at the brim of their very being and come to an uprise.
  288.
  289. However, he had his questions as well, so as he ignored the demon in view, he would only ask one, simple question.
  290.
  291. "Is this from Osrona…?"
  292. (Pachua)
  293. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  294.
  295. [20:14] Ancelin is awfully close to the captive kaor and it understandably upset kin. Still, the lieutenant doesn't react much, even as the hulking collared demon slamming its knee to the ground as the order is followed.
  296.
  297. Merely sideglancing the display, the languid lapine moves to place a hand-rolled cigarette between his lip, striking a match on his suit sleeve and lighting the cancerstick up. After a few puffs, a steam of smoke comes from the man's nose as he sighs.
  298.
  299. This is going to be a pain.
  300. (Ancelin)
  301. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  302.
  303. [20:14] The Drakanite continued to sit upon Valero's shoulders, keeping a hold with his hair. Her tail lashed excitably behind her with a small grin. Her fangs poked through and she sat up just a bit straighter, taller than the crowd itself given the man she was seated on and her own tall willowy frame.
  304.
  305. "What a marvel..." She mused out, head cocking right and left.
  306. (Raeliana)
  307. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  308.
  309. [20:15] "Can you shut the fuck up and just enjoy the show?" Bolt would state while looking towards Irkalla. The cigarette he was smoking would be put off to the side. He wanted to see how this would all turn out.
  310.
  311. "ExPlAin yOUrseLVEs. Holy Yersin. You sound like a fuckin child." A puff of his cancer stick would be taken before continuing. "Don't make demands towards the big boss. We run this city. Not you."
  312.
  313. Only a sigh would go out as he watched the Kaor didn't struggle. Clearly this was a show of force. It was something that he and the other Razuka did all of the time.
  314.
  315. If you don't want people to fuck with you, you need to tell them how it is.
  316. (Bolt)
  317. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  318.
  319. [20:15] "I am sorry... My kin..." Raising a hand between the two, gathering magics without restraint. If it was not being given an explanation to this horrendous sight? Than they would simply look to smash it. Uncaring for those who'd look to stop the ascended.
  320.
  321. "I care not for this demons... Crimes against humanity. You all are in no position. To judge my kind. You desire tools for war? Than best to look into taming the divine beast instead."
  322.
  323. Curling their fingers into a fist. An array of sickles appeared around the demonic entity. Looking to end the creature in a swift death.
  324. (Irkalla)
  325. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  326.
  327. [20:15] To watch the unveiling of Osrona's horror show was quiet the sight. Angel stood afar, applaud by the sight of such a brutish thing. This was not even imprisonment - this was slavery.
  328.
  329. Angel's hands curled into tight fists...
  330.
  331. Is this what is to become of all of them?
  332.
  333. To him.
  334.
  335. His throat went dry - as a faint pant escaped him.
  336.
  337. "This is slavery -..!"
  338.
  339. Angel shouted out, stomping a harsh foot onto the ground - which send a very distinct 'click' sound around.
  340.
  341. "This is - This is completely barbaric."
  342.
  343. "The point of allowing Demons into cities in the first place - is to allow them to grow out of the feral state earlier!"
  344.
  345. His eyes moved through the crowd and stared up at Misha. "How could you support this? M-Misha!"
  346.
  347. He called the woman out!
  348. (Angel)
  349. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  350.
  351. [20:16] Anira… Anira was breathless! At first, at least. For a moment she did seem briefly worried about something. But? Whatever it was? Was quickly dismissed. Whatever she was worried about? Could wait... Hopefully. But for now? The wolf gleefully watched! So so very gleefully observed! It was true that Tanya had said it was not for the sentient ones but...
  352.
  353. But, maybe it would deter the ones that kept visiting Osrona. That kept insulting it. Like a broken record that wouldn't stop screeching and nobody would fix it! It was the thought going on in her head! While she hopped up and down giddily.
  354.
  355. Both hands would raise, and she'd wave excitedly towards Misha and Walter and!
  356.
  357. And she'd make a little <3 with her hands. To show her support to them.
  358. (Anira)
  359. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  360.
  361. [20:16] How could he show rage?
  362.
  363. Fari'aeth wondered was he like this demon? Force to become something Dax didn't ever want to be? It made him chuckle as he didn't mind the change. Dax on the other hand. The occultic blood ran through his veins did cause him to ache with anger. Calling for him to be angry.
  364.
  365. "Tch."
  366.
  367. Fari'aeth was with another soul. At the moment he was free and a slave with Dax inside him.
  368.
  369. "..."
  370.
  371. So what was Fari'aeth to the demons.
  372. (Fari'aeth)
  373. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  374.
  375. [20:17] There was awe in the eyes of Trik. There was such shock and surprise. To make a demon kneel with such ease? To force it down low with nary but a single command? The rat choked as his gaze went over to Irkalla.
  376.
  377. Oh no.
  378.
  379. He honestly wasn't sure what to do in this situation. The Razuka had no idea how to even feel about this. If such a collar could be applied to the demons, who else could it be slapped onto? What else could be done with it?
  380.
  381. Trik could not help but push forward a little, looking over at the demon. Force of habit brought the chunk of blue mercury up, nervous gnawing on the toxic material. A sharp set of front teeth was a good way to be ready for anything.
  382.
  383. His gaze rose to stare up at Misha and Walter, looking for guidance on what to do. For once, Trik was truly speechless.
  384. (Trik Gutterrunner)
  385. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  386.
  387. [20:17] "....."
  388.
  389. It was hard to contain the level of violence that was being immitted all around them Demons often carried themselves in all forms to commit horrendous acts of chaos. Never bound by the limits of their potential and yet?
  390.
  391. To see something so egregious shook the Lesser demon to its core. The eyes of the demon were beginning to slip away the little sanity it still had left, And yet perhaps of its closely approaching evolution it was able to restrain itself from making the first move for now at least...
  392.
  393. What would he call them monsters? No....They fought against beasts far beyond their measure they were worst than that. "Rotten vermin...." The demon echoed its tones only filled with vile and hostility from the sights it was witnessing.
  394.
  395. "Who are you to claim a demon is wild and should be reduced to this....Who gave you the right...Did you think we would simply stepaside and allow you to do this...?" An anger unlike anything they'd ever known.
  396.
  397.
  398. It needed to die. Whatever way possible it was the only way mercy could be given towards the Abomination the Kaor had become.
  399. (Eugo La Ravias)
  400. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  401.
  402. [20:17] * You have been awarded 2 Roleplay Points! *
  403. [20:17] The old rodent seems to settle herself down there and then, legs making a dangle over the ledge to watch this reaction properly! So nonchalant about it for that matter.. Fun.
  404.
  405. "Y'kno'.. They say all this.. But'cha take one step in witch-woods n'all I saw's slaves." A mention back up to Walter, nobody specific down low meant to hear.. Idle chatter. "S'funny, ain't it?"
  406.
  407. A smiley glance turned back to the crowd, Mish plucking that stubbed ciggie away to flick off at the cage.. She loved and treated demons like people more than anyone! But you can only put up with them for so long...
  408. (Misha)
  409. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  410.
  411. [20:17] The culling of liberty was a thing to dread and abhor, but when it came to an item of demonkind, this was quickly brought a peg down in what concerned the gradation of all practices vile.
  412.
  413. Nonetheless, it is no less horrifying a thing to witness.
  414.
  415. As clamor, protest and admiration clash in their own measures, Mikhail simply seethes, dividing his malaise between jolts of hyperventilation and a swathe of sweat beads slithering across his brow.
  416. (Mikhail)
  417. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  418.
  419. [20:17] It kneeled.
  420.
  421. Yet his stomach flipped. There's a bit more to the collar's purpose that concerns the Razuka. Visibly clenching his jaw his brow began to knit as a glance is shared up towards the Magistrate. Context meant everything especially now with such a discovery brought to light.
  422.
  423. Irkalla had stepped forth, however, alongside the other demons in turn. Whilst one hand remained on the strap about his chest the other moved towards a suit pocket. There was a job to be done after all.
  424.
  425. Yet they continued to spiel their stuff. "Are ya really gonna start drawin' tha line 'ere..?" Sienna beads drifted towards the demons. "Burnin' 'n' killin' mankind? 'n' ya drawin' tha line at SLAVERY?
  426.
  427. Good Septia, fuckin' look at'chaselves…" Letting a scoff spill forth he'd give a light shake of his head. "S'weird 'avin' tha tables turned, ain't it?" Cocking a brow he'd straighten himself up.
  428.
  429. Still ready to go.
  430. (Stavros)
  431. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  432.
  433. [20:18] Olivia raised an eyebrow at Bolt's outburst beside her, and she gave the tiniest shrug. Then, with the utmost calmness, she reached into her inner coat pocket and pulled out a black carton of equally black cigarettes, plucking one out and placing it between her lips. With a snap of her fingers and a spark on her fingertips, she lit it - but unlike Ancelin, didn't inhale. She just liked the aesthetic. It wasn't unhealthy as long as she didn't inhale.
  434.
  435. And, maintaining that calmness, a confident gait carried her directly away from the red-cloaked rat. She didn't want to be anywhere near him after that.
  436.
  437. Just looking out for herself is all.
  438. (Olivia Docro)
  439. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  440.
  441. [20:19] The Overlord would fold his arms across his chest, as his emerald eye flickered away from the crowd, and over towards the shackled demon once more.
  442.
  443. Kneel.
  444.
  445. Would it actually do it? Well, his question wouldn't take long to be answered, seeing as the creature swiftly dropped down to his knees.
  446.
  447. "Interestin'. Real interestin'."
  448.
  449. A moment later his one-eyed gaze would flick back over towards the crowd. Hostilities seemed to already be boiling over. People were being called out, and odds are?
  450.
  451. A brawl was about to break out.
  452.
  453. (Valero Task)
  454. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  455.
  456. [20:19] Clap, clap, clap.
  457.
  458. A round of applause for the brilliant magistrate and her most wonderful innovation. Did they expect a modicum of respect to be granted towards this, this.. thing? Heavens, no. There is a hint of amusement on her countenance, but she comports herself in a manner that is dignified and reserved.
  459.
  460. The adoration, the outrage, and the skepticism - it all doesn't matter to her in the end; her purview is something vastly different from the rest of these people. She positions herself in a different spot behind the crowd to get a better view of the display, threading a finger between silvery tresses in idle thought.
  461. (Yarrow Allaire)
  462. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  463.
  464. [20:20] Reiko takes another puff from the smoke she placed in her mouth moments before. The demon had kneeled like a soldier, a knight, or a slave, the simple thought of that was a little off-putting to the Kitsune. Yet, this was for Osrona to seemingly gain strength.
  465.
  466. Reiko was all for that, her friends, her family, they all resided in this place. Osrona needed to be strong and this method that was being conflicted against, was seemingly a way to do so.
  467.
  468. Reiko's two toned eyes watched the scene. The tension was rising quite quickly, demons and witches were seemingly getting more and more annoyed by the moment. More tension, more bloodshed perhaps, a hit of worry then a hit of her smoke.
  469.
  470. This was going to get bad.
  471. (Reiko Viveiros)
  472. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  473.
  474. [20:21] Her claws would tighten in Valero's hair at his comment.
  475. (Raeliana)
  476. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  477.
  478. [20:23] Raeliana exclaims, "MY!"
  479. [20:23] Raeliana says, "-"
  480. [20:23] Pachua says, "Garljing."
  481. [20:23] Tyranny asks, "..?"
  482. [20:23] "..."
  483.
  484. Silence. That was the only pity that Voraz could offer to the bound Kaor, and likely the last form of sorrow it could offer in this state. Before he could even speak his next words, Voraz trail of thought is interrupted by slow steps.
  485.
  486. Even so, he chose to not act. Perhaps because he isn't brainless, compared to his Demon counterpart before him, or perhaps because he struggles to find Sentience as a beast of the dark.
  487.
  488. But, the very sight of another Kaor being forced to a knee in but a single word had certainly opened his eyes.
  489.
  490. Tanya speaks a single command word, and the Kaor is struck, falling down.
  491.
  492. Almost immediately, his mane acts as if it had felt a similar pain, spiking upwards for some moments.
  493.
  494. And right after?
  495.
  496. It falls, calmly. A perfect embodiment to represent his feeling.
  497.
  498. "Hypocrisy."
  499.
  500. "That's right. It's only Slavery... Isn't it?" he says, slowly beckoning it's head to turn toward Tanya.
  501.
  502. "This was what you meant, then? Hahaha...! Fascinating."
  503.
  504. The Beast couldn't help but laugh, and break into humour. Then, allow me to ask this question.
  505.
  506. Are we next?"
  507. (Voráz)
  508. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  509.
  510. [20:23] Artemis slooowly takes a burger from one of her pockets. She unravels it. The wrapped crinkles. Loudly.
  511. (Artemis Task)
  512. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  513.
  514. [20:23] Tyranny says, "Move. Now. "
  515. [20:23] She'd pull off a piece of jerky, dangling it in front of her carriage Overlord for him to partake. She'd chew on some for herself as well.
  516. (Raeliana)
  517. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  518.
  519. [20:25] Anira begins idly playing with a bottle of liquid rage.
  520. (Anira)
  521. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  522.
  523. [20:26] Anira tosses the bottle to Ancelin for some reason.
  524. (Anira)
  525. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  526.
  527. [20:26] "Is this where demonkind draws the line, then?"
  528.
  529. It's almost a pitiful response to the outcry in the crowd, her bottom lip lowering outwards in a halfway there pout. She doesn't look sorrowful or fearful- No, instead, it's only disappointment that coats her entire expression. She looks to the magic that was moments away from ending the shackled demon's life.
  530.
  531. She could have acted. Moved a hand, called out for the guards to take the blow, or to react against her. Instead, she practically rolls her eyes, both hands moving behind her back to clasp together at the small of her back. She hums, quietly, not loud enough for any below to hear her.
  532.
  533. "I must be honest. I had expected a much different turnout. This is not slavery, no. This is something else entirely. A way to retract those who defy our ideals and demands and to show them the correct course of action. A way to show them a proper developmental cycle."
  534.
  535. "A way to get them to heel."
  536.
  537. The grin on her face slowly begins to rise back, though it's just faint, barely a curl at the corners of her lips. She inhales, slowly, and then shakes her head. Disappointment, entirely, and surely. It was all that covered her expression. It was all that had been on her face for the last year or so.
  538.
  539. This was no exception. Sad.
  540.
  541. "For this is no different than your own teachings of Demonic Magic to humans. To contort their mind to think as you do. As we do. To take a beast whom does not know what is best for it. And to show it the proper way of the world."
  542.
  543. A motion idly, then, is offered towards the Demon King, making his arrival fashionably late.
  544.
  545. "..For if he is able to command legions of his lesser ilk with but a mere thought, then surely, this, too, is acceptable within the confines of what you all believe? Or.." She almost seems to stifle a laugh, for just a moment, though her face is entirely humorless.
  546.
  547. "..Is it only so bad when a Human gains power of equal footing with your own kind?"
  548. (Tanya Volkova)
  549. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  550.
  551. [20:28] Voráz locked it's visage with Tyranny. What would the King do...?
  552. (Voráz)
  553. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  554.
  555. [20:29] What madness is this.
  556.
  557. The King of Demons moves to this crowd to see on of his own, locked and in chains. With but a command, it falls to the floor. Tyranny's demeanor is broken- he is unable to hold the calm expression he is known for.
  558.
  559. Rather, it is one of a budding anger.
  560.
  561. "What the fuck is this, Walter?"
  562.
  563. No weapon is reached for, not immediately. Rather, he stares up at the Imperator with rage building in his eyes. The Right Eye of the King pulses with an imperial authority, a power he has not needed to use in some time.
  564.
  565. All would hear his own psychic emanations to back away from him, and the other demons.
  566.
  567. He would continue looking at Walter with a slurry of thoughts flowing through his mind. Walter, the Imperator. His closest match.
  568.
  569. Someone he considered a friend.
  570. (Tyranny)
  571. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  572.
  573. [20:29] Olivia gives a smirk to Altair, gesturing to the chained kaor and the outraged demons.
  574. (Olivia Docro)
  575. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  576.
  577. [20:31] {NARRATION} Irkalla wasn't halted, and given Tanya made no motion to save the captive slave, none of the guards did either. In fact, two of them obliged the ascended creature and stepped out of her way. Her scythes cut deep into the kaor and severed vein and bone.
  578.
  579. With those single swings, the kaor fell into the wagon bed where it bled out, its dark ichor pooled just underneath its corpse, yet the collar glimmered in the streetlights of the city.
  580. [20:33] The drakanite would simply nod.
  581. (Fari'aeth)
  582. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  583.
  584. [20:33] And thus, the glimmering golden ornament at the imperator's service cap is once more lain over the ashen silver mane that adorned him, as the imperious kitsune finally makes reparations on the hyperreactive nature of the announcement. Demonkind spirals and lashes out in disdain, for they had enslaved and coerced one of their kin into compliance and submission, by sheer power of resourcefulness and inquisitive research.
  585.
  586. The rumors, after all, begin to ring true. Had their ears chosen to heed the call or not, was no longer something they could attribute cautiousness to.
  587.
  588. Walter seems to bask in it - their faces. The surprise, the flabbergasted character they all wore in all-too-expectable incomprehension of their motives.
  589.
  590. "Is it, Angel?" To the ice creature, the Imperator makes no delay in addressing. "It is slavery, truly. Yet, barbaric? You yourselves at the coven are no different. And, in fact - you do so out of worship." An abrasive smirk lays atop his features. "The hypocrites here are you."
  591.
  592. The cold, unphased bright orange glow continues to loom down over the rallied crowd. Color around his hulking silhouette seems to lose its flare and density. The cherubian incandescence resting in his gaze, shares the bright tenure of rusted gold. Not unlike Tanya, Walter seems perhaps more demonic than those they had managed to tame.
  593.
  594. Walter flails a hand about with bombastic thespian character, that same unforgiving sight shifting to rest over the bent and corrupted drakanite, the one who once went by the name Dax Pax. A light wince of the mortal man in his direction.
  595.
  596. "It is only fair play, is it not?"
  597.
  598. Then, they move along once more, meeting the demon once known as Blaidd, now ascended.
  599.
  600. "This is what I always said it to be. No more than a compromise to better fit this city's interests." And the apathy is made obvious. Blooming like a pale orange halo upon the visage of Yahoel, the mechanical angel. Mana from all those present passively swallowed like a small-scale blackhole.
  601.
  602. Perhaps, Irkalla would have to deal with the consequences of their actions. Or perhaps, it would be them.
  603.
  604. The imperator readies up for contingency regardless.
  605.
  606. "Do not flaunt your ethical height, for you have none. And all those present know it."
  607. (Walter Docro)
  608. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  609.
  610. [20:33] When the Kaor falls? Anira moves in slow steps. That collar? Was Osronian technology. At least, she believed it was! Her head was tilted high as the wolf moved. Steady and with a purpose. She steps besides the fallen demon, her boots? Splashed with the dark ichor of its gored frame. She looks not towards the crowd, nor the upset demons..
  611.
  612. But rather? She moves to pick up the collar. And if she managed? She would immediately begin making her way to join those up top. To return it.
  613. (Anira)
  614. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  615.
  616. [20:34] Hades simply shoots a knowing smile to the King of Demons in response.
  617.
  618. One that morphs into a mildly surprised look at the titan of a kaor is toppled.
  619.
  620. "I suppose it is free now, Tyranny. Is that not what you wanted for your kin?"
  621. (Hades Task)
  622. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  623.
  624. [20:34] Ancelin is in the splash zone, and ends up getting covered in the kaor's sticky black ichor. Still wearing a rather blasé expression, the rabbit glances up to his superiors and slowly raises an eyebrow, as though to non-verbally inquire: 'was I supposed to stop that?'
  625. (Ancelin)
  626. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  627.
  628. [20:34] Tyranny says, "You-"
  629. [20:34] His nimble fingers made for the edge of his cloak and pry the hood down, a mess of tangl-y black hair surrounding keen blues eyes. Quite the sight ahead of him.
  630.
  631. He watched as the beaten down kaor was slain with a deep, finishing wound that had blood pour out onto the streets of Osrona. It is instinct that he moves forward and his hand shifts for the metal scepter at his side, each digit of his twitching in anticipation. Breathing in sharply, he then bit down on his bottom lip--all as he resisted a smile.
  632. (Altair)
  633. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  634.
  635. [20:35] Misha sort of looked back up to the uncle in anticipation of an order.. Something to work with, though as she did, her hands fiddled for a new cigarette.
  636. (Misha)
  637. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  638.
  639. [20:36] A light smirk curls at the edge of Walter's lip once the transhumane gaze looms back towards the demon king, Tyranny.
  640.
  641. "... ah, that gaze. I know it all too well..." He bellows, chuckling. "That's the same look Finley gave me, once."
  642. (Walter Docro)
  643. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  644.
  645. [20:36] Anira is still just planning to return the fallen collar if nobody stopped her!
  646. (Anira)
  647. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  648.
  649. [20:36] His line's repeated by the Magistrate - It brings nothing more than a light smile. Seems he was in the right line of thoughts after all! Yet as the Kaor comes crumbling down he'd knit his brows towards its direction.
  650.
  651. Anira was off collecting it now. He'd watch to make sure no one stepped forth to intervene. Digits gently roll along the barrel of his rifle.
  652. (Stavros)
  653. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  654.
  655. [20:37] Olivia shifts her gaze from Altair to Tanya up by the parapets - smiling in response to what Altair just whispered to her, doubtlessly.
  656. (Olivia Docro)
  657. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  658.
  659. [20:39] There wasn't anything demonic about the woman as they cleanly carved through their own kindred. A sense of agony overcame them, as though all their dreams & ambitions were brought crumbling down by humanities greatest minds.
  660.
  661. It was, this occasion it sought to avoid so badly, this instance of defilement. If anything? Despite the cities natural willingness to see the demon slain? It could only harbor an intense hatred.
  662.
  663. Feeling like a pawn in all this.
  664.
  665. "I-..."
  666.
  667. Their words were caught in throat, choked by the signs of rot and decay on the wagon. Laid out, a still & lifeless kindred. "I will say this..." Their words were, but a mumbled at first before eventually coming to glance over in their kings direction. Then back to the kaor and lesser behind them. "Humanity is truly... A beautiful creature. I find it... Admirable. That you all would seek to break the molding of stagnation and presson... But remember. We were born from; Your! Nightmares. We are not, but. A reflection of man. To clam hypocrisy against us? Merely points out your own flaws in the matter..."
  668.
  669. Little could it claim over servitude. "Though... Maybe that makes me less of a demon than the worlds designed me to be? I care little for your flesh and cries. For your empires or dynasty. You all preach to something. Someone." They were the target of the demons eerie.
  670.
  671. But, little did it matter right now. Feeling a need to disappear. It wouldn't happen however until it could better yet understand the entire picture.
  672. (Irkalla)
  673. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  674.
  675. [20:40] Smoke would escape Bolt's mouth as he watched the scene unfold. The Kaor was slain. More demons rose up in anger and it only brought a smile to the Razuka's face.
  676.
  677. "Party Poopers." He would state referring to the demons. Watching the Kaor die was a sad sight. The main attraction was gone. At least the demons were angry though!
  678.
  679. A hand would find his blade's hilt just incase anything went down, and then his head looked towards Walter.
  680.
  681. "Hey Big Boss, she killed the Kaor! Don't tell me you only had one! She just ruined the fun if that's the case!"
  682. (Bolt)
  683. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  684.
  685. [20:40] Slave?
  686.
  687. Fari'aeth didn't speak but he look at them. He was no slave. Dax was a slave. But Fari'aeth was free to cause all the destruction he wanted. The demonic drakanite didn't speak a word but didn't make no actions.
  688.
  689. Dax would be in his mind.
  690.
  691. "Reality is a bitch isn't it." Fari'aeth would ignore the voice. Focus just waiting on orders. Waiting...
  692.
  693. Even though he was in control. It was that strange urking of Garjing bothering the demonic one. Still no actions made.
  694. (Fari'aeth)
  695. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  696.
  697. [20:41] Rafalle says, "... Yeah."
  698. [20:43] The creature fell easily at the raking of the scythes created by Irkalla Only to be left a pile of Black Oozing gore to be cleaned up. The chiding of the others atop the castle only made the demon grow even more enraged.
  699.
  700. Seeing everyone around them as enemies now was the only solution Osrona clearly determined themselves as threat to Demonkind by this act regardless of their intentions.
  701.
  702. "It means little what your goal or intentions were...You knew what message this would bring to us...Not only to bind a Demon who is powerful but to flash it about like a puppet is an endearing threat." Eugo roared. His capacity and patience for humans only growing thinner by each word they spat out.
  703.
  704. His gaze would turn towards Tyranny awaiting an order, something from the Demon King. If not now then when?
  705. (Eugo La Ravias)
  706. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  707.
  708. [20:43] Reiko observes the 'mercy' the kaor was bestowed. Its blood ran through the stone, and the foul corpse was now just laid there. She was rather confused by this act, and now just watched Anira move to collect the collar.
  709.
  710. With a soft sigh Reiko's eyes look to each demon and supposed witch in the masses, making sure that none of them would make a hostile move toward the Osronan mass.
  711.
  712. If demons were born from nightmares, then such needed to be controlled, or at least eased to a point where people can live with them. If anything, the witch might have slayed an example of progress.
  713.
  714. A uncomfortable shift of Reiko's tail occurs once blood drips from its violet fur. It was a display of just how contagious the tension in the air could get, a blood magi's display of self defense if anything was to escalate beyond the upset words.
  715. (Reiko Viveiros)
  716. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  717.
  718. [20:45] The ascended demon's hands clench, the sclera in his eyes turning a jet black. Why was he doing this? They had fought together, broken Nysea with their combined assault, and now he had found a way to break the spirit of his kindred?
  719.
  720. "Hypocrisy? We are allies, Walter! What sort of sick joke do you think this is?"
  721.
  722. His eyes twitch at the slaying of the Kaor. It had to happen, yet it tore at him still. It had a future, a chance to be something greater than a mere beast. Just like Irkalla, like Morok.
  723.
  724. Like Tyranny.
  725.
  726. "What future do you think you're going to have by making enemies out of us? When we had once offered you aid simply because we saw eye to eye? Why would you destroy it, here and now?"
  727.
  728. Grappling with his own feelings, born from letting Walter in too close. To finding similar values in ahuman.
  729.
  730. Once, he thought he could understand them. Understand their hearts.
  731.
  732. But he had never looked into Walter to see his fears. His white left eye begins to leak shadow, invisible tendrils look to pierce the barrier of Walter to see deep into his heart.
  733.
  734. What did he fear? What did he truly long for?
  735.
  736. Did he truly even regard Tyranny as an equal?
  737. (Tyranny)
  738. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  739.
  740. [20:45] Trik squirmed in place. Anxious and unsure, he was at a loss. Well, it was less a matter of who he sided it. It was a matter of what Walter wanted him to do. Though, the Ascended were not happy. How could they be? One of their own was laid low by some form of human magic. Some... strange collar Trik had never seen before.
  741.
  742. The overwhelming presence of Tyranny and Irkalla made him shrink back. A gurgled scream stuck in his throat as he shied away from where being very capable of making him into a fine paste. The recoiling Razuka gnashed his teeth as his body convulsed. Fear and loathing riling up inside him.
  743.
  744. But beyond it all? He was smug. Beneath that fearful surface, beneath the outward appearance of abject fear and horror, it was all tempered by a sense of pure smugness.
  745.
  746. Trik was right. Trik had unknowingly called it.
  747.
  748. A thumbs up given to the Imperator up above.
  749. (Trik Gutterrunner)
  750. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  751.
  752. [20:46] With none moving to stop Anira from retrieving what belonged to Osrona? And thus, her family? Ice would pool beneath her feet, and the collar was grasped tightly between her clawed ice and blood soaked fingers! With but a press of ice, she was atop of the keep, and boy, did she feel up high. For just a minute...
  753.
  754. The girl stepped onto the stone above, besides Tanya and Misha. Her gaze looking towards Walter.
  755.
  756. She clears her throat! But does not interrupt the goings on beneath her. None of it mattered right now! Unless things went south.. Thus? The young teen would tap Tanya's shoulder. The gore covered collar that had once resided around the demon's throat? Held in offering towards the Magistrate. "I think this belongs to us. Right? Here."
  757. (Anira)
  758. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  759.
  760. [20:48] A still air fell around Angel as Walter spoke directly to him. His jaw clenched - biting down on every single word that he wanted to shout right now. There was no need to make himself a fool just yet.
  761.
  762. Yet finally his lips parted.
  763.
  764. "Us standing against this is hypocrisy?"
  765.
  766. He simply asked.
  767.
  768. "When one falls to darkness, they do not lose themselves."
  769.
  770. "They find themselves - To succumb to raw emotion is the most powerful thing." His right hand rose, as a pointed at the killed demon.
  771.
  772. "This - This is complete subjugation, Walter."
  773.
  774. "There is no free will! Wanting such is hypocrisy?"
  775.
  776. His body shivered, as a blistering cold befell him. His breath condensation. Perhaps a preparation of the fall-back for speaking out, or for being exposed to some regard.
  777.
  778. "This is lunach, there are better ways to educate the feral out of Demons."
  779. (Angel)
  780. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  781.
  782. [20:48] Small hands clasped on the ledge to keep herself from falling, legs dangling over and kicking away as a child would do.. Watching on, still. Nothing seemed to be happening other than talking, this was nothing the rodent could really handle..
  783.
  784. So her matchbox is pulled and a stick is lit, fizzling to light up the tip of her life-quickener.. It's shook away and again, flicked off, now at the fresh corpse of a demon that lay dead just below.
  785.
  786. A thumbs up on seeing Anira though! Only to return to smoking. - It felt good being all tall up here.
  787. (Misha)
  788. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  789.
  790. [20:51] "Making enemies out of you all?"
  791.
  792. There's a dull, flat grimace that forms on her face. Tanya picks herself back to her full height, a hand reaching over slowly to grasp the collar from Anira. She nods, barely, and sighs, quietly as she turns back to the crowd.
  793.
  794. "It's. Sad. Perhaps tragic is the word I would use, that demonkind does not see the potential use and merit of this creation. That despite all of our progress, here, now, is where morality stops the creatures of nightmare."
  795.
  796. The collar hands, loosely, from a singular finger as Tanya so casually twirls it about her hand. It flits about, so light and loose that it almost threatens to fly off into the crowd, and yet it never does.
  797.
  798. A strange display from the Magistrate who, until recently, has been entirely cold and stoic. Now, she seems almost cocky, almost entirely and sincerely sure of herself as she twists about, giving Anira a gentle pat on the shoulder, and handing off the collar to Misha.. Whispering something about how it was 'worth more than you' and 'if you break it I will break you'. You know. Things friends say to other friends.
  799.
  800. She takes her place, finally, beside of Walter.
  801.
  802. "It is subjugation. Subjugation of lesser, wild beasts. Feral creatures whom live their life only to slaughter and destroy. There's a place for you all in this world. For every single person standing in the crowd. And for those whom can not simply understand this grand design?'
  803.
  804. She closes her eyes, and shrugs, gently.
  805.
  806. "There are ways to make you see things our way. The future is drawing upon us all, Demonkind. We ask you not to serve. But to fall in line with the rest of us. The world will be claimed in fire and blood. But, which side of the tide of Helfire will you be standing on when all is said and done?"
  807. (Tanya Volkova)
  808. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  809.
  810. [20:51] Pachua says, "Pop off chief."
  811. [20:51] Artemis reaches out with her free, non-burger holding hand and pats Valero's shoulder.
  812. (Artemis Task)
  813. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  814.
  815. [20:51] Pachua would do the same.
  816. (Pachua)
  817. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  818.
  819. [20:51] Artemis lends Valero some of her energy.
  820. (Artemis Task)
  821. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  822.
  823. [20:52] Pachua would infuse Valero with the couage of the dragons.
  824. (Pachua)
  825. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  826.
  827. [20:52] She smoothed down Valero hair modestly, removing her claws from tangling within it. Yet, the High Priestess of the Fireblooded does not dismount from her carriage spot upon the Task's shoulders. Instead, there's a delightful grin upon her visage.
  828.
  829. Silent.
  830. (Raeliana)
  831. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  832.
  833. [20:54] Anira should have hopped down! And rejoined all the others in the square. From family, Authority, Misfits.. To Demonkind, watching Therians, and all others. But? She chews at her lower lip quietly.
  834.
  835. The constant reaffirmation of her strength from Walter, from Misha, from Demios… The admittance that she had broke through a Demon's defenses, and had been a genuine nuisance, a 'threat' to scrap against because of it...
  836.
  837. The feral wolf's eyes blink, and she steps towards the edge of the keep's walls. A confident sort of grin spread across her sharp, toothy and carnivorous mouth! Here? It felt nice, being up here! In a way she couldn't quite explain!
  838.
  839. And unless Misha, Walter, or Tanya told her to get down? Well!
  840.
  841. Anira would decide to stay there. Her claws sliding behind her back while she adopted a casual pose. And listened to her self-proclaimed 'family' speak and debate morality. But, unless things went south? All she would do...
  842.
  843. Was enjoy her perch. For a bit longer...
  844. (Anira)
  845. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  846.
  847. [20:54] Misha takes the collar and holds it up in front of herself.. Using it as a sort of scope as she aims it toward each one of the demons here present. She'd humm..
  848. (Misha)
  849. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  850.
  851. [20:55] The hare scratches at the pale flesh underneath his own collar, still stoically, or more accurately 'uncaringly', holding his position. He glances towards the ascended at his left, and then the ascended at his right. With a shrug, Ancelin muses to himself.
  852.
  853. "I've seen demons fight one another just as much as they fight anyone else. Seems such a device would be just as useful to them."
  854.
  855. That cigarette of his, now a stub, is flicked off to the ground in front of the lapine. One last smoky sigh as he rolls his neck with a sickening crack of vertebrae.
  856. (Ancelin)
  857. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  858.
  859. [20:55] Following Tanya's reponse to the demonkind, the boy's hand finds his scepter and pries it out of its holster--lifting the spire of metal up and resting it against his shoulder, like one might a rifle.
  860.
  861. The demons were outnumbered.
  862. Should they strike, he wouldn't hesitate to support the higher ups of The Authority, ready and eager to tame the beasts of the wild by force or otherwise.
  863. (Altair)
  864. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  865.
  866. [20:57] With Mikhail at her side, she marches through the thick of the crowd and positions herself in such a way that would allow for immediate action, should any of them attempt to infringe on the boundaries drawn in a line of blackened fluid.
  867.
  868. The world would be claimed in fire and blood.
  869.
  870. Rafalle's pupils adjust accordingly, first to the magistrate, to the Imperator and Commander, and then to her companion.
  871.
  872. A nod.
  873. (Rafalle)
  874. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  875.
  876. [21:07] There's a decisively unfitting tauntingly warm smile lain across the imperator's features once Trik, one of the Authoritiy's henchmen, shoots a decisively self fulfilled thumbs up at the transhumane, clockwork kitsune. That same nigh fallen worthy, contented gaze trails to his right, addressing Anira's own action with that same unearthly care.
  877.
  878. And then, it is shot back towards one who had once seen him as an equal. Once who never truly was, from their first encounter. One who Walter had just decidedly allowed to linger in the delusion.
  879.
  880. Would he not recall to his words after he had been blast rushed into the side of the quarry's wall?
  881.
  882. 'I'll tell you who leads them, Blaidd. I lead them.'
  883.
  884. Perhaps, he was not simply being facetious when he mentioned so. Perhaps, the cards had been in play all along. Yet, once more, thewhole world had failed to see them.
  885.
  886. And for once, their ascent is once more unimpeded.
  887.
  888. "Joke? Please - you know me best. I'm one for putting on a show." Cigarette smoke idly leaves the thin white duke's gaped lip. The horrendous stench of the greed sin leaves naught, the natural sap of everyone's life force continues. A sentiment so hollow naught one could be rid from it.
  889.
  890. "I am merely stating the obvious." A step forward, as the imperator now looms over the edge of the fort-factory's arch bridge. "This is hardly something you can call animosity, Blaidd." Once more, he fails to address him by his ascent name. Gundogs alike, they'd stay dogs forever in the eyes of one another.
  891.
  892. "I lost faith in you. I lost faith in your adaptability. In your self-made civilization. Your agenda is, admittedly, something I'm not keen on actively aiding."Walter retorts. "It is only natural that we'd come up with a contingency plan for your eventual success, hm?"
  893.
  894. A hand raises, then treads from east to west in a swing. The imperator's cape flails with it.
  895.
  896. "You have your war to fight. Surely, you know best not to start a skirmish against two fronts!" Lesson learned, now bestowed onto the abyssal coven for reasons unknown.
  897.
  898. Then, Walter addresses Irkalla, more briefly than their kinsmen had been parted with.
  899.
  900. "Ah-ha, that is unbecoming of your self illustrated image. You would see yourselves as no more than instruments, yet fight what we've done with a ground you stand naught on?
  901.
  902. If you truly are man made and destined to failure? Perhaps you should merely bend the knee and allow for us to guide you without the need for such drastic measures! If I were you, I would consider it."
  903.
  904. And there it is again. That smirk. That arrogant, three-steps-ahead-of-you smirk. It knows where it stands. It knows how far ahead of everyone they are.
  905.
  906. And they?
  907.
  908. They knew nothing.
  909.
  910. "This demonstration is over."
  911. (Walter Docro)
  912. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  913.
  914. [21:14] Fari'aeth Looks at Tyranny
  915. (Fari'aeth)
  916. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  917.
  918. [21:15] Valero munches on some jerky.
  919. (Valero Task)
  920. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  921.
  922. [21:15] Artemis finishes the last bite of her burger. It is well and truly savored.
  923. (Artemis Task)
  924. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  925.
  926. [21:16] Their focus remained fixated on Tanya as the conversation went on. Woefully unaware as to who exactly was the mastermind behind it all, but merely going off to whom stood out the most during this presentation.
  927.
  928. They made note to keep watch over what felt now. Like a turning of the tables. Tsk!
  929.
  930. Sucking at their teeth, a single hand rose to flick off the wrist. While its expression was amess from the tears of blood that fell. The anger that while it did so best to mimic. Had become all to surreal for the entity. Enthralled with only the wanton desires to see the destruction of said device.
  931.
  932. "Preach not to. I. Walter... We are all. Beings of Chaos. In the end. You... Me... You three and these people all around!" Turning to crowd, something about it all was hysterically picking at the ascendeds mind. "Sinners thru & thru, but it is out of; respect! That lines are drawn... This. Was crossing said line."
  933.
  934. But alas, no matter the spite, no matter the venom it poured past pressed pale lips. They made no move to assaults' outright. Rather. It merely depicted the possible death & decay flooding into their mind.
  935.
  936. "See, one would even come to understand. Should kindred have built a machine to take control over your livelihoods. But maybe? Such was the mistake made... There..."
  937.
  938. Pivoting off their heels in direction of Eugo and Voraz. It was only a calm look. Squinted eyes and a single nod that followed.
  939. (Irkalla)
  940. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  941.
  942. [21:17] Irkalla says in telepathy, You would be wise, to prepare yourself... Now. As it is no longer. Allied lands, we are in.
  943. [21:17] If her unnatural height and her general, scheming demeanor weren't already proof of her parentage... that damned smile she shared with her father would be all that was needed to confirm they shared the same blood. Her smirk was in and of itself a taunt; she had that same three-steps-ahead look about her too in those rare moments where her typical affability dropped. Well - maybe two-steps-ahead. She still had a ways to go.
  944.
  945. But putting that aside, the smirk Walter shot at Tyranny was the same exact one Olivia wore now. Her left hand rose to fuss with the brim of her cap, pulling it down a bit as her other hand moved behind her back. With the announcement that the demonstration was over, she took that as her cue to leave - no sense in sticking around. If it did come to blows, the enire Authority knew she couldn't quite hold her own in a fight anyway. Being here would merely be a detriment.
  946.
  947. Her hand left her capand lowered, stopping to pull the black cigarette from her lips and drop it to the ground lazily. Left hand joining the other behind her back, her gaze trailed to Altair as she gave a more friendly smile and a nod - and with that she proceeded down the staircase and back to the city proper, stomping on her discarded cigarette on the way out.
  948.
  949. As calm as her exit was, there was still the unquestionable sense of urgency - like she's getting the hell out of dodge before things got too crazy.
  950. (Olivia Docro)
  951. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  952.
  953. [21:18] Fari'aeth says, "..."
  954. [21:18] Fari'aeth nods
  955. (Fari'aeth)
  956. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  957.
  958. [21:18] Eugo La Ravias's voice (to Irkalla): Never did I trust humans from the Start Mistress. If we must kill our way out of this situation you will have my claws to defend you.
  959. [21:19] Irkalla says in telepathy, Less the king draws their blade? We may likely be free to depart... However, now is a tricky situtation entirely. As we no not the future ahead.
  960. [21:21] Eugo La Ravias's voice (to Irkalla): The future was never clear to us, We must adapt to the situation and move forwards..Continue to take the vale and to establish the Dreadwoods into a Kingdom that can rival this one.
  961. [21:21] Eugo La Ravias's voice (to Irkalla): Its best if we avoid making an enemy of them now that we have nothing to defend ourselves.
  962. [21:21] This demonstration is over.
  963.
  964. Anira was really enjoying being all the way up here! It was a moment where she, for once in a long time! Looked like a little girl that got permission from someone important to play pretend! Childlike and wonderous in many ways, shapes and forms. But? Walter's words would finally drag her from her reverie! And Anira would perk onto the tips of her boots.
  965.
  966. "This demonstration is over. Means.. Disperse. There's nothing more to be said here." Anira said with a nod of her head! But it was unlikely anyone would actually listen! Her eyes? Moving towards the members of the Authority that were around, they would help enforce it if Walter, Tanya, or Misha demanded it, right?. Well, Everything else? Was of no consequence to her.
  967.
  968. Nor did she try to really enforce the faux 'command'. After all? She wanted something violent to start! She wanted the thrill of the hunt! And the longer those that were against the display lingered? The higher chance that Walter, Misha, and Tanya? May decide it was time to end the demonstration poste haste.
  969.
  970. And with force! But for now? She'd said her peace and just enjoyed her perch.
  971. (Anira)
  972. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  973.
  974. [21:23] Víolet didn't like this one bit..
  975. (Víolet Lovain)
  976. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  977.
  978. [21:23] The dark-haired teenager was more than aware of the resemblance, especially in this moment--and he gives her a nod in departure as she made off, where he remains back in the likely scenario that this does come to a battle. His scepter remained on the ready after Olivia disappeared.
  979.
  980. Things were getting tense, but would the demons simply huff and puff before running away?
  981.
  982. ...
  983.
  984. Altair watches in wait, breathing shallow with a touch of excitement shaping his features.
  985. (Altair)
  986. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  987.
  988. [21:24] He had waited for this moment to show his hand, when Tyranny could not stop the march of the Pact of Beasts.
  989.
  990. Surrounded by his Authority, outnumbering the Demons and Tyranny's supporters. A fight here would be his end, an unworthy death to the path he's forged since his birth. It had all been calculated.
  991.
  992. His own machinations outdone by another.
  993.
  994. There was another emotion building in the Ascended, one he had never truly experienced before. It stabbed through him wildly, tearing through his chest with an inner pain.
  995.
  996. It was sorrow.
  997.
  998. "...you SON OF A BITCH!"
  999.
1000. A lance of plasma forms in his hands and is launched at Walter. It is a move that will never truly hit him- it flies close enough to his face that he could feel the malice he poured into it. It would crash against a wall, dissipating into an explosive blast.
  1001.
1002. Fury was not able to be contained at this point. He flew, carrying another lance in his other hand as a blade of shadow manifests in his right. He would go for Walter.
  1003.
1004. Cutting through all in his path, expressing the rage and sorrow that now filled him.
  1005.
1006. In the end, he never truly understood humans.
  1007.
1008. No matter how hard he tried.
  1009. (Tyranny)
  1010. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1011.
  1012. [21:24] Altair whispers something.
1013. [21:24] Mish had a hand go up to the wolf girl, sort of trying to catch her gaze and wave her over.. Being seated herself, she'd seem much lower! So Anira would certainly be welcome to sit alongside.. "C'mere, pup." A pinch of her cigarette to pluck it from her lips. "I wanna make a bet." And then it's used to point down at the more.. Demon part of the crowd, small whispers to follow.
  1014. (Misha)
  1015. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1016.
1017. [21:24] Misha says, "Oh.- Nevermind."
1018. [21:24] Pachua says, "... is he atta-"
1019. [21:25] Bolt says, "So... he's chosen death then."
  1020. [21:25] Ancelin says, "Damnit."
1021. [21:25] Bolt would take a few puffs of his cancer stick.
  1022. (Bolt)
  1023. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1024.
1025. [21:26] From over in the Therian enclave Artemis can't help but let out a shrill cackle as the lance of energy goes right for the Imperator. Things finally come to a head.
  1026. (Artemis Task)
  1027. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1028.
  1029. [21:27] Angel whispers: Yes.
1030. [21:27] All of the gathered tension in his body was gone with that sudden explosion of magical power that crushed around Tyranny, finding a sense of shock and awe in it despite seeing it all coming. Before he could even blink the blow was struck and by the time Altair had swung his scepter around and poised the metal tip in Tyranny's direction the exchange would likely have passed.
  1031.
  1032. But what comes after?
  1033.
1034. At the very least, he could make himself useful unlike the do-nothing Bolt who just sits back and makes unecessary comments. Maybe he'll earn a promotion. Probably not.
  1035. (Altair)
  1036. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1037.
1038. [21:28] The drakanite would simply wait for any of them to make a move.
  1039.
1040. With the command given he look to Tanya.
  1041.
  1042. "Orders received."
  1043.
1044. The drakanite would boom from his spot with malice in his eyes. No words simply going to get those who were in the way out his master way. Tanya would see him coming for her.
  1045.
1046. "Your in the way." He say coldly.
  1047. (Fari'aeth)
  1048. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1049.
1050. [21:28] Would appear in front of Tanya with his blade coming out his sheathe
  1051. (Fari'aeth)
  1052. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1053.
1054. [21:29] There was a pause as Trik listened. He listened to them all. From the protests of the demons to the cold superiority of Walter and company. It felt as if everything had been so carefully orchestrated. Every step planned, plots within plots. But even then, he remained confused.
  1055.
1056. Not at what had been shown but at the reaction.
  1057.
1058. Would the demons not relish such a method of control? To create such beasts of war as to smash through the walls of cities with reckless abandon? Who knew what foul amalgamations of technology and magic could be wrought. What forbidden alchemies could be used to enhance such soldiers of war. If not demons...
  1059.
1060. What about humans? The nobility of the abandoned Nysea? The Teraphim of Myllenoris?
  1061.
1062. Again, the convulsing Razuka gagged and gurgled on his own terrified words. A choking sound of a vile and foul rat, excited beyond compare now. This is what he wanted. This is what he dreamed of!
  1063.
1064. But before he could scream out praise for the Imperator on high, he watched as Tyranny attacked. A powerful blast before the lunging strikes. Were Trik a more stable creature, he would understand.
  1065.
1066. But Trik was not. Trik had no true empathy for others. He only saw opportunity. The writhing creature howled past his own terror, finally spitting out words that could be heard.
  1067.
1068. "ACK! GAH! HE ATTACK-ATTACKS THE IMPERATOR-LORD. STOP-STOP HIM. GLORY TO OSRONA-CITY. VICTORY FOR RAZUKA!"
  1069.
1070. A pointed finger as his body quaked in abject fear still. Even with the false bravado to spur action in numbers, Trik was still a coward.
  1071. (Trik Gutterrunner)
  1072. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1073.
1074. [21:30] The rat springs RIGHT into action! Anything at all there thrown at Walter? Would certainly be repelled by the scumbag of a rat.
  1075.
1076. A red, lashing whip cracks up from the side to knock this powerful lance out of harms way, more of an attempt to sent it flying into the skies above.. Nobody would dare be allowed to touch the uncle!
  1077.
  1078. She'd be his opponent. "Na'h..-"
  1079.
1080. "Yer t'one wearin' this now." The collar was hooked around her metallic tail there and then, further whips falling down from her sleeves as she took first initiative. "Walt shouldn't 'ave t'waste 'is time on you anyway."
  1081.
1082. "Go lay n' egg or summit'." She'd spit, cigarette gobbed toward Tyranny.
  1083. (Misha)
  1084. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1085.
  1086. [21:30] Pachua says, "..."
1087. [21:30] Yarrow Allaire whispers something.
1088. [21:32] Going for the Imperator.
  1089. (Tyranny)
  1090. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1091.
  1092. [21:32] King demon grab!
  1093. (Misha)
  1094. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1095.
1096. [21:33] Irkalla says in telepathy, Kin. Do you require food and a potion. Tell me now?
1097. [21:33] The bolt of plasma whizzed past the Imperator! And Anira? Anira wheezed. A mixture of emotions spread across her face! Yet the wolf, about to rage and wheeze in a fit of anger? Begins to settle and the wheezing turns into laughter! She was giggling up a storm, and, much like one of her idols? She wore that simper, that confident smirk! The tall wolf girl snorting.
  1098.
1099. "You STRUGGLE against me, and you think you can beat Walter!? OH! This is FUNNY!" Tyranny should not have humored Anira. Not at all. The wolf had won once, and yet? That was what she clung onto! Not the loss before it, nor the three losses against Tyranny that had followed! The girl had been eased over the course of three years into being so disgustingly over confident.
  1100.
1101. She assumed the Magistrate could handle herself. She assumed Misha? Would be able to deal with Tyranny. So the ice-covered wolf girl lands upon the ground with a loud crack. The teen rolling her shoulders. This time? Her eyes were between Irkalla, Voraz, and Eugo.
  1102.
1103. "You guys aren't going to make the same mistake as him. Are you?" It was a simple question!
  1104. (Anira)
  1105. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1106.
1107. [21:33] Ancelin's worst fears came true. Things got loud. With those long ears of his ringing the rabbit winces, but he still springs into action. The lapine has no idea who his target is going to be in all the ensuing chaos, but he certainly makes it known he'll be participating, leaping far into the air as a storm of entropic magics begin swirling about him, eyes scanning the ground as he searches for a moving target to crash down on.
  1108. (Ancelin)
  1109. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1110.
1111. [21:33] There was always one bad egg in the dozen, wasn't there?.. Wait, that was apples. Crimson reed always did have rumors of rotting one's brain.
  1112.
1113. Eyebrows briefly raise in a manner of 'Well, that was expected' as a gem is slapped right into the sight of his rifle; Crackles of electricity dance upon such a rough motion. It always came down to someone wanting to stop his nation's progress - Trying to steal their freedom from their own hands.
  1114.
1115. There came the cackling, and how could he ever deny the desire to laugh in such context.
  1116.
1117. Light laughter pours from the alchemist as a crimson veil drips from his frame. "Well! I do believe they said tha demonstration was OVA. BUT S'ALIGHT! I WANTED TA SEE HOW THIS WENT ANYWAY!"
  1118.
1119. Shouldering his rifle he'd continue to cackle away as he rushed forth to join the rising fight. White sclera bleeds into a stark gold as those instincts take back over. Blessings from Asena were to abused for if he was part of an unsightly brood?
  1120.
1121. Well, he certainly was the finest of his kind.
  1122. (Stavros)
  1123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1124.
1125. [21:33] A vessel that overflows, a bubble that bursts - a river that, diverted from natural itinerary, outpours and swamps civilization. This was Osrona's fate, and how irremediably it would be changed was up to fate - the toss of a coin, the luck of a fortunate few or the whims of the gods.
  1126.
1127. When Tiranny doubles the amounting tensions down, a gelid shiver transfixes Mikhail's spine. These were pangs of enmity that had summed into too bloated a spiteful amalgamation to be rectified.
  1128.
1129. The kitsune steps forward, and his eyes orb between forces daemonic and those who swore and owed fealty to Osrona. He fit in the latter, and thus, stutters before finally yawping a decree.
  1130.
1131. "STAND DOWN! YOU WON'T TOUCH THE IMPERATOR!"
  1132. (Mikhail)
  1133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1134.
1135. [21:33] The demon merely continued to discuss what would come next with Irkalla before a sudden burst of Plasma would catch his attention only to see the lance thrown towards Walter in a Malicious manner.
  1136.
1137. There was little else that could've been done remembering the words of Tyranny claiming Osrona to be 'Somewhat' of allies turned out o be more of a lie than even the Demon knew
  1138.
1139. Not knowing quite yet what to do. But he would Irkalla already said what would happen if the King drew his sword, There was very little time to think about what would come next. it was a battle.
  1140.
1141. Shadows began to swirl and rotted decay spun around the demon as he prepared to face any foe who would come to attack his Mistress or defie the King of his Vengeance.
  1142.
1143. How much longer the demon wondered....How much longer will the Demons have to keep fighting for their own survival...This was just another example of that.
  1144. (Eugo La Ravias)
  1145. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1146.
1147. [21:33] Ancelin joins the fray. With... Someone.
  1148. (Ancelin)
  1149. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1150.
1151. [21:33] {ITEM} Traded item with Irkalla: Ramen
1152. [21:33] {ITEM} Traded item with Irkalla: Rage Potion
1153. [21:33] Conflict takes the square by storm. And accordingly, he is ordered to stop any pest from taking down their Leader. Almost instantly, the beast dives underneath a burst of energy, coating his pelt with mana.
  1154.
1155. Immediately, the first he turns to is Misha, and Tanya.
  1156.
1157. "This is not a breach of 'Trust.' I'm merely following the command of... Our 'King.'"
  1158.
1159. It kicks forward, attempting to slap anyone who took to Tyranny!
  1160. (Voráz)
  1161. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1162.
1163. [21:33] "It always comes down to this."
  1164.
1165. The lit cigarettes would be swallowed. The inhaled smoke would be let out into the air and his sword would be drawn. The Ascended demon charged forward and he saw Misha go after them.
  1166.
1167. His head cocked as he looked around. The Silvercap had a job to do now and so his blade would be lifted into the air.
  1168.
1169. "Fuckin Hel, always comes down to a brawl don't it." He would state with a sigh. His head would snap towards the other demons. Eying in on their net moves. "Right, right, right."
  1170.
1171. "So! People! All of you!"
  1172.
1173. "ARE YOU WITH US OR ARE YOU AGAISNT US?"
  1174.
1175. "BECAUSE IF YOU ARE AGAISNT US. YOU WILL DIE."
  1176.
1177. And so he would prepare to attack anyone who stood in the way of Osrona's progress.
  1178. (Bolt)
  1179. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1180.
  1181.
1182. [21:35] Reiko's ears perked once the sound of plasma cracked hit the air. It looked like the great humanoid demon broke the true silence with an attack. Things were now officially going down.
  1183.
1184. Being right beside the demons was not a great advantage spot for the soon to be bloodshed that was about to break out, but it was here Reiko would make her stand. Bloody spines bust out of the Kitsune tailfur and are soon joined by whipping watery tendrils, lashing out at any enemy that wanted to work its way past her.
  1185.
1186. "Well, if ya' fucka's want blood, Come on then!
  1187.
1188. Then, Reiko would cover her friends in the Authority, getting ready to cut down and bleed whatever dares approach her friend's sides.
  1189. (Reiko Viveiros)
  1190. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1191.
  1192. [21:35] This wasn't right.
  1193.
  1194. And so?
  1195.
1196. With the orders that sounded out throughout her head the blood begins to spike around her frame flooding around the area of which everyone was in. The demon side including others that followed along side of them didn't take any of this lightly.
  1197.
1198. Violet was prepared to take on anyone who dared tried to get in the way of Tyranny anyone who she could grab would be do-able. She didn't care this wasn't the freedom she sought for.
  1199.
1200. Nothing but demons in shackles and bending them to their own whims and probably? They would be next tied and bound to those disgusting chains of rubble. Looking up at the others with a disgusted look.
  1201.
  1202. It was time.
  1203.
1204. The gun drawn and bullets loaded.
  1205. (Víolet Lovain)
  1206. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1207.
1208. [21:36] The expected finally manifests. Tanya had been waiting the entire time for one of those in the crowd to manifest their hatred and ambition, and when it rises to a pitch-
  1209.
1210. She's smiling. Wide, honest, and sincere, even as the bolt of plasma flies forwards, even as another from the crowd launches themselves forwards. Fari'aeth manifests within seconds before her, and in that same second, it's not her blade that is brought upwards to defend herself, but the entire scabbard, made out of a brilliant blue metal that clashes against his assault.
  1211.
1212. She inhales, softly, a dull tone taking her gaze. Her lips purse, and then, slowly, she shakes her head.
  1213.
1214. "Alright, then. You're not whom I wanted, but alas. I suppose, if it is necessary, you and I can dance for a moment."
  1215.
1216. The scabbard is pulled down at her side, her free hand coming down to rest upon the hilt of her blade as if she were moments away from drawing it. As she inhales, the entire world around her erupts into violent red flames, the sign of a burning crimson star that alights her with its flame.
  1217.
1218. And her eyes burn bright red, just like any demon's, in preparation.
  1219.
1220. "..Though I must first offer you the chance to yield and stand down. There is no need for this to become."
  1221.
1222. She clears her throat, quietly.
  1223.
1224. "More bloody than it already is going to be."
  1225. (Tanya Volkova)
  1226. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1227.
1228. [21:37] The message was heard loud and clear.
  1229.
1230. He simply scoffed, as words raced through his mind. "Mmm...." A long groan escaped the man, his back stretching backwards as several 'pops' echoed around him.
  1231.
  1232. "Osrona is a joke."
  1233.
1234. The lean man proclaimed, as a hand came up to point towards the keep.
  1235.
  1236. "You are a joke."
  1237.
1238. Long fingernails extended as a peculiar snow whizzed its way around Angel. Yet any that touch it would feel a certain behind them. His hand continued to reach upwards, snapping his finger.
  1239.
1240. A crown of embellished ice would whisk into reality on his head. Its iridescent self sending a pulsating darkness around Angel. His snow fell faster - each snowflake causing cracks to form on the pavement below him.
  1241.
1242. A single hand rose up to point towards the crowd of rat-boys.
  1243.
1244. His snow would tense - before showering towards the gang. Each snowflake, bulleting forward and penetrating the ground below them.
  1245.
  1246. Angel's storm has begun!
  1247. (Angel)
  1248. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1249. [21:42] As the ascended look back to their kindred, there came the flood of memories during the war. Where it witnessed Muulimnir chopped to pieces and sold off to Finn Ghede.
  1250.
1251. The mere, boiling frustrations had long since boiled over with the years passing. Given the alarm through both sights and telepathy. Irkalla could only cackle in response.
  1252.
  1253. "Hehe!HaHa!Haha!HeHe!Hahahahahahahahah!"
  1254.
1255. Raising their arms, tugging at two of the horns protruding out from their head. The crimson gaze, smeared with mimicked emotions grew wicked in an instant. Eyes widening, blood shot, their head threw back as arms spread wide and the release of Ethereal magics grew.
  1256.
  1257. https://www.youtube.com/embed/iZeuPuAoxSY
  1258.
1259. Converging onto her existence. The shadows of night bent & twisted. Contorting to the sigils of Hel'Heim becoming more prominent as the seconds passed. In an explosive release, did their body slouch forward, ashen locks covering most of which could be seen from beneath.
  1260.
1261. A single hue, burning with a dark desire. "Worry not... Humans. Such an act happens often throughout history does it not? Is through this conflict. That we shall either find, an agreement... Or shattered promises."
  1262.
1263. With a small speech offered, they ascended would do as its position entailed as a lieutenant. And dispatch those that would seek to stop the king from the rightful battle.
  1264. (Irkalla)
  1265. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1266.
1267. [21:56] Engaging on the first of likely many, the downpour of units would be rivaled by the essence's gathered within the Lovecraftian being. Harnessing the fragmented pieces of warriors lost to the demons grasp.
  1268.
1269. Embedded within each shadowy figure brought upon a design to their image. The visceral magics working to impregnate fear into the warrior who'd sought to oppose the ascended.
  1270.
1271. Amalia, Yoshiko, Demios and many more became the army in which led the man astray. Guiding them in a manner befitting of a demonic creature sure as Irkalla. Enduring the blows, as each collision was had.
  1272.
1273. Their pale flesh began to show, bit by bit. Every gash opened, every blood curdling cry. But it wasn't enough to topple over such a being, one with growth. With experience.
  1274.
1275. "You are not, one who can seek to stand in my way. Boy! Learn your place and understand the humuliation my kindred underwent! You will KNEEL!"
  1276.
1277. With words focused in through telepathy, the screeching banshee harnessed all it could in a single instance. Releasing forward Only the wickedness it thrived, it was reborn within.
  1278.
1279. The Dark lords presence, further empowering her units. Each overwhelmed by the emotions tucked within the essence's. Clearly, a match on their own for the human.
  1280.
1281. But now imagine an army.
  1282. (Irkalla)
  1283. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1284.
1285. [21:59] Irkalla also picked up and munched on a random piece of jerky on the ground. They didn't care. They needed the energy!
  1286. (Irkalla)
  1287. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1288.
1289. [21:59] Danger often attracted towards Demons, It wasn't an unlikely scenario as it seemed once again the enormous power of Demons was being coveted by mankind thinking they could possess something far beyond their reach.
  1290.
1291. Going far beyond shattered trust but to shatter the entirety of the alliance between them. This was pointed and direct and all the more the Demon echoed the vengeance of Tyranny. Wanting to make these humans hurt for what they did.
  1292.
1293. Although small Ravias endagedered themselves once again to fight for what it believed in, Rage consuming it almost taking it to become a wild beast like the Bound Kaor was....but no...It was not that any more.
  1294.
1295. Black Blood began to trickle down Eugo's clawed tips as the demon began to etch runes into the air, pentagrams filled with heinous words that were no longer to be seen as the same markings used to give Glyphs and enchantments by the words of the Angels.
  1296.
1297. Trickling traces of essence began to gather around the demon as it had seemed to gain some control over manifesting this power through a prior ritual, Eugo had spent its time fighting for nothing more than its bestial instincts.
  1298.
1299. However this battle? It was a battle that would be for its entire race. More than itself. It would have to teach these humans to suffer. To learn their place. And to rot in the annals of time as a Kingdom that failed to live up to the standards of Demonkind.
  1300.
1301. No words were exchanged only the initial burst of bloodlust that would signal his attack to stop Bolt from interfering with Tyranny's battle against walter.
  1302. (Eugo La Ravias)
  1303. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1304. [22:13] Badump. Badump. Badump.
  1305.
1306. His heart began to pump again. He could feel his senses skyrocketing. A feeling that had always consumed him in battle, and yet, this time it would be different. He felt at ease.
  1307.
1308. "Always getting in the way of progress." He would state as he rushed the demon. His gaze would be cast upon the demon, one full of blood lust. One ready to end it's life at a moments notice.
  1309.
1310. His blade would make contact with Eugo's carapace, setting a deep wound in as he quickly rushed again - yet this time he changed it up. Quickly he went to the ground - a spin would flare up as he whipped the demon with his tail knocking him back, and once again he charged striking again.
  1311.
1312. Yet not without injuries to the Razuka's own body. He cared not for his own well being. Bolt knew a fight came with injuries and so he expect Eugo to cause his blood to draw with whatever attacks he threw.
  1313.
1314. So he would attack again. Spinning once more, slashing the demon like he was dancing wildly before backing up.
  1315.
1316. "Honestly. I'm fucking tired of this." He would state while he reached into his suit's pocket. A sigh would be given as he pulled out the Lightbringer's pistol. "You can fuck off now."
  1317.
  1318. BANG! BANG! BANG!
  1319.
1320. Shots would be fired at the demon injuring them to the point where they had to run, or risk being capture.
  1321. (Bolt)
  1322. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1323.
1324. [22:15] With the defeat of a single opponent thus far. The ascended calmly composed themselves, patting down the mess they'd become from all the release of pent-up frustrations.
  1325.
1326. Taking to allowing the legion of shadowy figures summoned at constant from the being. To defend the creature, their gaze held steadfast towards the ensuing conflict. Prepared to fight another round or two or three. Should the case be needed.
  1327.
1328. There was little to sway the woman now. Taking the years of studies over the soul to now craft a torture befitting of the ignorant.
  1329.
1330. Although they couldn't retain their full strength at the moment. They were no less, an imposing figure to stand against.
  1331. (Irkalla)
  1332. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1333. [22:24] The magic they learned to draw in the essence around them and utilizes it to empower the Demonic Magic Eugo wove into his spells and yet.. He hit a barricade one he could not pass due to his current standing.
  1334.
1335. Move passed improving Using both Mana and Essence to increase the potency of his curse magic and withering spells afflicting the mans body with horrendous curses that bubbled scars and wounds all over him.
  1336.
1337. Runic circles would swarm to protect against his blade clashing against the steel aiming to rot away his flesh like he'd done to all of his other victims yet still he could not surpass him.
  1338.
1339. Like a deadly dance slashes rained down upon Eugo covering him in wounds that were kept bleeding due to the Rats blood magic. Anger filled the creature once again being bested by a human it was pitiful....
  1340.
1341. A roar of fury echoed Ravias only growing stronger in the midst of his combat, Claws spewed forth a great shadow like that erupted towards Bolt. Claws charging towards them and within an instance of the Gun being Drawn out Eugo began to panic.
  1342.
1343. A weapon similar to that of the Crimson destroyer....And in that moment of hesitation BANG BANG BANG shots fired into the creature. Draining the essence of the energies around him Ravias attempted to defend the blasts yet some made it passed his shields of shadow.
  1344.
1345. However as the shots drew near the Demon he witnessed something uncanny, Time began to slow the bullets of blood began to seep into time as the demon's power only began to grow expontentionally faceing an opponent like this with his hatred and rage for humanity boiling over.
  1346.
1347. And Time began to stand still for the Demon, He quickly avoided the other blobs of bullets that were aimed towards him, The wounds he'd sustained were reversed through time once more and almost as if he'd never been there the demon vanished into a thin mist....
  1348. (Eugo La Ravias)
  1349. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1350. [22:25] Irkalla says, "Whoever claimed... Alls fair in love & war. Clearly never made a deal. With demons... Hehe..."
1351. [22:26] While it could simply watch from afar, the demon had other things in-mind... More, maddening things in mind. Raising a hand upward above itself. While it spoke in hushed breathes. They were casting their magics rather honestly.
  1352.
1353. In the open, where upon their chest the sigil of Hel'Heim pulsated with furry. With a single finger pointed at the leader of Osrona.
  1354.
1355. They would, feel, their mistake...
  1356.
  1357. (Irkalla)
  1358. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1359.
  1360. [22:27] Irkalla says, "..."
1361. [22:27] Irkalla goes blank face.
  1362. (Irkalla)
  1363. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1364.
1365. [22:29] Irkalla sratched at their head a bit. Grumbling a few words beneath their breathe. "The Dark lords likely just... Sleepy at the moment." Glancing around the area, they wondered what would become of the situtation. Should their king fall.
  1366. (Irkalla)
  1367. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1368.
1369. [22:36] Eugo La Ravias's voice (to Irkalla): If The King were to fall here....
1370. [22:37] Irkalla says in telepathy, Worry not, eugo... You need only escape... I shall ensure this happens.
  1371.
  1372.
1373. [22:37] Irkalla says in telepathy, There are plenty of chapters still left to be written in this story. We won't allow ourselves to be seen as one that kneels willingly.
1374. [22:38] Uncontested in its absorption, the dour javelin builds up within the kitsune imperator's figure, radiating in its darkened purple glow, before it is ultimately launched back at the other dog made man at twice the girth and density.
  1375.
1376. "A fool's endeavor, Tyranny." He croons, as he leaves the vantage point in a blitz, seeking to cut down his aggressor. Havoc ensues, but Walter seems above it all.
  1377.
1378. Yahoel, now flaring it's rust-like light, cuts through the air like butter, spinning widely, yet with an apparent lack of air resistance. Oxygen combusts into lesser, boundless substances, leaving the treading of Walter's trajectory unobstructed by even the atmosphere itself.
  1379.
1380. Tyranny fights someone who seems to not only stand to the height of his claim, but tall of it. Where he had once claimed himself to be the strongest man in Esshar, echoing Blaidd's own assured spirit of being the strongest demon? Walter had now made peace withdivinity. The divinity inherent in all of men, so as long as they'd hold themselves to that standard.
  1381.
1382. They clash and struggle, leaving both their shade and overwhelming light behind.
  1383.
1384. Until the kitsune finally lands an opening, and mercilessly cleaves Tyranny's dexter arm, syphoning an unthinkable amount of his life force in the act.
  1385.
1386. The imperator's gaze, inevitably, basks in the debauchery and hunt of it all, likely afflicted by Tyranny's own bizarre essence to a further degree.
  1387.
1388. "Fire another one, lose the entire paw. I dare you."
  1389. (Walter Docro)
  1390. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1391.
1392. [22:40] Eugo La Ravias's voice (to Irkalla): Yes...you're right Mistress...I'll leave it to you and the others then....
1393. [22:44] He is pushed to his limit.
  1394.
1395. The Ascended King of Demons, thrust into a corner for the first time in his life. Never has he been on the receiving side of such a beating, likely in part to the emotional trauma and physical strain of Walter's power.
  1396.
1397. He was intense, his fire nothing he had ever experienced. His lifespan was massive, and Walter took chunks of it with every swing. His gun was knocked away from his hands in that last swing, and he finds himself running out of options.
  1398.
  1399. "...you dare me?"
  1400.
1401. The rifle isn't even reached for, as the red eyes of the demon stare him down. He digs deep, deeper than he's ever felt he's had to for this fight.
  1402.
1403. A handle of a broken sword is taken from his coat, and gripped in both hands.
  1404.
1405. "You are nothing but a farce. You control through fear, you have no true love from your subjects. Maybe my choice of title was wrong. Maybe I'm just a fool."
  1406.
1407. The invocation of his Tarot, the first one to have been announced as positive. The handle glows black, and his aura is spreads to form a faux blade for the sword.
  1408.
1409. "At this point, I don't care what my people think of me. I will fight and die for their freedom either way, for they were always my strength."
  1410.
1411. A final charge, Tyranny attempting to drive this sword of shadows through Walter. The glory of him, and his people, depended on this fight.
  1412. (Tyranny)
  1413. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1414. [22:52] It was a burst of strength that did not make sense. It was a power that Tyranny, that Blaidd had not needed to call upon for a long time. But his entire life, in the end, had been devoted for the evolution of his people. Through combat, through fellowship, and through conquest; Tyranny would lead them.
  1415.
1416. He, who founded the Covenant, who trained a legion from monsters to warriors, and who would fight on the frontlines for their sake. He had his doubts, his lusts for power that would override his goal.
  1417.
1418. But right now his path was clear.
  1419.
1420. His sword clashes against Yahoel, black against rust and endless shadow against all-consuming firelight. A demon who would give all of himself for his people, and a man who would consume them for his own power.
  1421.
1422. Tyranny did not care for such morality, not when there was someone in front of him to fight and kill.
  1423.
1424. Black blood seeps from his wounds, but his shadow-blade strikes true against Walter's leg. A strike for a strike as the two stare each other down one more time.
  1425.
1426. Another spear of purple light forms in his right hand, ready to impale the Imperator once he got close enough.
  1427.
  1428. He could not miss.
  1429.
1430. The Mad Dog of Osrona, verses the Great Wolf of the Abyss.
  1431. (Tyranny)
  1432. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1433.
1434. [23:00] He had subconsciously held some of his faculties back, perhaps out of an illusion of dominance. Of true inequity in capabilities and grasp over change. Yet, Tyranny pushes through, in a reality check that makes unthinkable happen.
  1435.
1436. Walter pyr Docro is tagged, in the leg - no less. His mobility and speed, thus far pristine and signifying the biggest deterrent against Tyranny, who had thus far had difficulty in turning the tide, is ultimately compromised.
  1437.
1438. Blood, that undoubtedly of a man, gushes out. And yet, Walter stares in disbelief - as if this was no more than a trick, an illusion, an inconsistency in his way of having things.
  1439.
1440. And thus, that unforgiving stare bounces back at the hellhound, in something akin to disbelief and incontrollable frustration for the tick of a second.
  1441.
1442. In his ire, upon not stacking up to his own bluffed demand, made as a taunt, Walter contradicts himself.
  1443.
1444. "How... fucking... dare you, you dog?"
  1445.
1446. Unbecoming of a man who had met fame and power by defending his persona of unapologetic crookedness and meager nature.
  1447.
  1448. And to good reason.
  1449.
1450. The figure of an ebony-maned lady, one that Tyranny would've caught glimpses of prior to his ascent, looms behind his back. Her gleam coincides with Yahoel's. A cherub, of sorts.
  1451.
1452. Yet, by all means, not a good one.
  1453.
1454. When Walter speaks, her lips synergize with his own. The phrase comes off in a contrast to the imperator's usual demeanor.
  1455.
1456. "I will take everything from you for it."
  1457. (Walter Docro)
  1458. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1459.
1460. [23:03] Artemis Task whispers something.
1461. [23:17] Tic, toc. Tic, toc...
  1462.
1463. And thus, the fury and cataclysmic havoc that ensues is not short of unearthly. With that synchronized cholera, one that's open for all those present to see, Walter and The Spirit of Avarice gleam in a bizarre, pale orange light.
  1464.
1465. As he charges back at one whom had thought of him as a friend, the Imperator no longer has need of his feet for the purpose of mobilization. Instead, leaving behind a trailblaze of scorch and disintegration, he and the tamed geist, who was now actively participating, propel themselves in midair by virtue of pure explosions.
  1466.
1467. His feet sense the recoil of his own actions. The rapid movement taxes his muscles, just out of overexertion of his mana mechanisms. And yet, it stops not the onslaught.
  1468.
1469. The demon can no longer keep up with the overwhelming strength of the imperator. His guard is compromised, his movements lose their snappy response. Yet, not by virtue of physical wear or tear. For it is the kitsune's own radiant aspect that swallows and eats away at the archon's mana.
  1470.
1471. And the margin grows dense enough for him to make a visible difference.
  1472.
1473. For his hand rests at Tyranny's throat.
  1474.
1475. "Your tongue... has been ran for too long." And though it sounds like Walter, even his speech patterns sound clogged. Intervened, something out of a performance - like he was playing a character.
  1476.
1477. Or perhaps, the character was simply playing him.
  1478.
1479. The oppressive gleam surrounds Walter's gloved appendage, circling around the abyssal wolf's voicebox, eating away at it. Not from a physical level, but a spiritual one.
  1480.
1481. His mouth goes numb, as do his laryngeal muscles. There's pain, though it is only to a staggering degree, far from an agonizing experience. A kick to the sternum brings the archon crashing down against the walls of the fortress soon after.
  1482.
1483. Once the imperator speaks yet again, he doesso with a voice that's not his own, but one completely identical to Tyranny's.
  1484.
1485. "The only farce here is you, Tyranny. Jealousy will only deter you in your march against Myllenoris." He had stolen his voice. "Your own betrayal would have made itself wait, but I knew it was coming.
  1486.
1487. Stay out of my way."
  1488. (Walter Docro)
  1489. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1490. [23:25] A singular false move is enough to stop his advance. one that allows Walter to grip his throat and tear away at his voice. A sputter emits from the King of Demons, and he skirts away from his clutches while holding his throat.
  1491.
1492. He could barely speak, and thus flowed what remained of his power through the Right Eye of the King.
  1493.
1494. A massive pulse of Occultism flowed through the area, carried through the psychic might of his Ascension. Words flowed through to everyone in the room as telepathy was enhanced by his Authority.
  1495.
1496. "This place is no longer safe for my kindred or followers, we are moving!"
  1497.
1498. The strain on his body from the loss of power, and his flowing of strength bled his eyes, forcing lines of black blood to stain his face.
  1499.
1500. He had not reached the peak when he ascended.
  1501.
1502. He had only found a much higher mountain.
  1503.
1504. Through telepathy, his final words before melting into shadow. "I have searched your heart, Walter. It is nothing but that burning desire for might and other's strength."
  1505.
  1506. "You are barely human."
  1507. (Tyranny)
  1508. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1509. [23:29] "Betrayal..."
  1510.
1511. The words clung to the ascendeds ear as they witnessed the fall of their king. Reminiscing briefly over the first encounter had with, Blaidd. What humanity could perceive as emotions, could have surely been felt in the meaning behind the words exchanged that fated day.
  1512.
1513. I seek to see our kind rise... I look not to rule demon-kind. But guide them.
  1514.
1515. With a single-hand raised to where their core resided. The Markings of Hel'Heim had begun to express themselves once more. As the legion of shadows stood in defense, surrounding the demon on all accounts.
  1516.
1517. Maybe it was madness that drove them forward. That held them strung like a fish. Because they could only thing of one thing. Falling back to its more primordial instincts.
  1518.
  1519. Survival.
  1520.
1521. "Kin... Should you all feed the need to depart. Go. Now..." After-all, sometimes a battle wasn't simply about winning or losing, but staking claim to ideologies. Methodologies.
  1522.
1523. The fragmented souls inside them cried, each experience rotted away at the demons mind. Finding bliss in reenacting what it'd done countless times before.
  1524.
1525. Topple over fate and cripple its warriors against demon-kinds eventual ascension.
  1526.
1527. Turning to its legion, each were given a tap on the shoulder. A smile followed, "Tonight, you shall all find some form of rest here... As I seek to conquer a being unlike you. Pieces." Waving their arm to make space for the ascended to walk forward. Ignoring the faces of those who'd watch this ensuing battle.
  1528.
1529. A focused gaze upon the man who'd bested the king. "My... My... My. One speaks of betrayal. Yet? You were the first to pull said metaphorical trigger..." Their face contorted with anger, wrinkles built where as the crimson hues remained illuminated, vibrant with life.
  1530.
1531. "Worry not however... For... I am. Humble. I am... Reasonable. After I've taken the entity inside you? I shall allow you to plead your case. You seek to claim these shackles created to be for the reckless demons? Than why not simply approach us with said knowledge first?" Of course, they wouldn't neither did the ascended expect a positive response.
  1532.
1533. Instead, they embraced the chaos. Breathing in occultism as it expended off their form. Looking to consume the man whole before the soul diver, took its just desert.
  1534. (Irkalla)
  1535. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1536.
1537. [23:31] The Archon had fallen.
  1538.
1539. Jaeger truly didn't know how this battle was going to turn out, he had experiences fighting both parties but at the end of the day combat was never predetermined.
  1540.
1541. Twilly's prediction had come into fruition. Walter had betrayed the Abyssal Covenant only days before they'd march towards Starfall. The Archon had put up a valiant effort but the Imperator was far too strong, Jaeger knew firsthand.
  1542.
1543. But that surely wouldn't stop him from stepping forward, placing one paw in front of the other in a motion to move towards the Kitsune. Two flaming pupils were locked directly onto Walter, never taking a moment to let the man escape Jaeger's view.
  1544.
1545. He had heard this before, the voice of others. Maybe the moment Walter had summoned Finn should've let the panther know ahead of time. But the root of this ability was unknown, it'd take more to figure out than a few glances. Eventually Jaeger would discover thesecrets this man held.
  1546.
1547. Though for now his body readied itself for combat. The winds twisted throughout the city while Jaeger released a brutal roar. His voice echoed throughout all of Osrona, and other voices would be heard within it. Though they wouldn't resemble any voice that anyone knew before, undiscernible screams from the puts of Helheim rang in the ears of all unfortunate enough to listen.
  1548.
  1549. "I couldn't leave, not now.
  1550.
1551. I don't believe betrayal is an action to be taken lightly. He'll learn in due time."
  1552. (Jaeger)
