  1. Lily Vanneli So far she had just been waiting for some orders or some direction of what to do, ger father just simply said wait and enjoy a mini vacation while he set about doing another 'surprise' for her. She hated them, she wasn't always a fan of surprises as they tended to end up being something she hated dealing with. So far it had been a quiet night, but the feeling of eyes on her wasn't helping her to relax, nor was that snap of the twig. Was it curiousity? Or just checking to see if there was anyone dangerous lurking around trying to get at her. She hadn't a clue that there would actually be anyone hiding around that 'tree' as soon as she made impact with the person, she knew it was a living breathing being. She had met a few new people, that seemed off, but didn't make any judgements, but with also some work to do on Kristina's house yet, as that was still in the back of her mind. But with the run in and fall, she was right back to her feet soildily, as if it wasn't really that big of a deal for her to be doing this. She would feel a hand though come closer and to her shoulder, and a voice in Italian? Latin? Which ever it was she managed to understand it, she was greatful for the classes that her father insisted that she took, being a well rounded young woman was key in this buisness. As it also opened doors that one wouldn't of otherwise have been opened to one that was seeking to do business in other countries as well. "Im 'semper curiosus, tu scis latebras non facere amicos" she was simply telling the male that she was always careful, but hiding wouldn't make him any friends. But a light smile was on her face as she looked up, and up, and up. Good gravy how tall was he?? She was quite short, poor woman, but once she found his face she would give a light smile, not knowing that he might not have eyes as his hood seemed to cover most of it."My name is Lily, and yours?" She asked him this time in english. She was stronger in Italian than Latin, but could do enough to piece things together.

  3. Bellatrix Jenkins ( INCOMING! )
  4. There strolled a petite little girl, roughly around the age of six years old, just under four feet tall, dragging along what looked to be a rather large and bloodied stuffed animal behind her. Her hair had been matted down sticking to her face which looked to be covered in some type of red dye that was simply oozing down her perfect porcelain face. Along her free hand, she had not just one, but five claws the reached just sigh of a quarter of one inch long, her face adorned with the most happy go lucky yet seemingly ominously vacant at the same time. Her beautiful baby blue dressed seemingly untouched, swaying in the cool breeze. Bare feet touched the ground every so delicately allowing her to glide along the dew soaked grass as if not even touching the ground whatsoever, on her way to the pretty fountain in the park. It would not take her long before she reached it, completely ignorant of the people around staring and gawking at her, whilst she enjoyed the beautiful moonlight delicately kissing her skin. Exhaling softly, she let out a child-like giggle to express itself into vocal form before plopping on the edge, dragging what now appeared to not be some child play toy, but the still breathing ragged body of a boy who looked barely four years old. Flashing a mischievous grin, the small girl revealed a single row of not so average teeth, before dragging the gasping boy's head into her lap, stroking him along the chin, allowing a single claw to slightly nick along his jawline; which of course caused the boy to let out a whimper and a small cry for help. Not a single word spoken from the girl, just a change in her demeanor, from resting emotionless, to chillingly creepy. Glinding her hand down along the boys abdomen, she stopped just below where his belly button should be, pressing a single claw inward, causing the small whimpers and yelps to become cries of agony. Blood began to flow like wine from the boys core as she continued to drag the claw with ease all the way up, from near stem, to sternum, sickening gushes resonated afterward as her hand seemingly vanished into the boys body. There was some swishing and slushing as organ were moved around. Sticking her tongue out and squinting her left eye, she felt around. "Ah!" she spoke, just one simple reaction one would use when you successfully have found what you were looking for! Pulling out a blood soaked hand, it revealed itself to be clutching a very important organ, one someone would use to filter out all types of bad chemicals and other nasty things. Clutching it to her face, she nuzzled into it, like one would also do to their favored family pet, soaking the side of her face with the liquid of crimson vitality. Whilst the boy was still clinging to whatever shred of life was left within, she brought it up to her mouth, biting into it as if it was one of Granny smiths red delicious apples.

  6. Valdus So far so good...The woman hadn't run off screaming after he made an appearance. Then again, the hood he wore helped quite a bit. It hid his lack of eyes and the angry red stitching/scar around his face. What it couldn't hide though, was his height and other features. For example, the being smiled when he heard her speak, showing off some pointed teeth. He understood Latin better than English, but that didn't mean he couldn't figure out the latter. His master had called him a bright boy quite a few times and he had no qualms in proving it. The smile faded a bit when she spoke of hiding. It was something he did quite often on his outings, to a point where no one knew he existed. Valdus could be the champion of Hide and Seek if he needed to be. Just...He slipped up this evening. "Sum pudicus." He admitted quietly, using the excuse that he was shy. When she asked the question he was silent. Not that he wanted to answer, but was drawing up the words to form. His mouth opened a bit and nothing came out. His tongue moved behind his teeth before he finally spoke. "Name...Valdus." He could have simply said his name, but wanted to go just a step further and further still. "Leelee...Pretty." Oh boy was he on a roll! Valdus would abruptly go quiet and became alert. His hooded head turned in the direction of Bell. If he had fur, it'd be bristled. What he felt coming from this being was unexpected. The sound of dragging was all too familiar, clearly something he had done quite a bit himself. The smell that came their direction was a familiar one as well. Though he appeared 'tame' now, the being was a corpse eater and very dangerous. Only when his master ordered or allowed him to, would he feed off a body. So this...mess the girl child was creating would not draw him. Would not get a licking of his lips and teeth or a disappointed expression. He simply stared and listened. The sounds coming from the victim didn't tug at his unbeating heart, for he had killed as well as his master had, in various ways. Torture on the other hand though, was something he never did unless ordered to. Valdus would step away from the tree, somewhat putting himself between Lily and the scene at the fountain before speaking. "Terminus est nunc." End it now.

  8. Lily Vanneli Lily was learning that this place had some seriously odd people about, but given that she remained mindful of things and that they had to have feelings just like her, she wouldn't freak out over differences. Besides her father and grandparents raised her so much better than that, but the height differance had to be close to nearly three feet between the two of them. If ever there was a day she felt incredibly short, it was that night, but she was happy to see the male smile back at her, even if there were pointed teeth about his mouth. It was just him, just different than she had was all, not that big of a deal she told her mind repeatedly. She was very good at staying calm in situations that migjt normally freak people out, besides there had to be other creatures and the likes out here, she wasn't the only different being. Though upon hearing that he was shy she gave a soft giggle, but smiled softly at him "D opus non esse fugax" telling him there was no reason to be shy at all. Besides he was indeed the biggest thing she's seen so far, who knew whom else she may meet around this place, but for now she saw him as such. But she was patient as he grew quiet, wondering if perhaps English wasn't a language that he knew well. She would wait gently as she pulled her red leather jacket closer to her body, before zipping it up as the cold night air was starting to get to her a bit. Turning her blue hues back towards him she would hear his name and smile, bit following that she heard the most adorable nickname she'd ever been called accompanied by being called pretty. Well that made her cheeks flush a deep crimson red color, it wasn't often she got such a lovely compliment compared to all the stupid moronic cat calls and such alike. "Valdus gratias ago tibi, quia non sum sed ego pulchellus" she spoke in a softer, a bit shyer tone herself, letting him know she thanked him for it, but wasn't that pretty. "Nickname is adorable, uhhh I meam..Venerandum" she told him gently. Boy she was rusty a bit, but talking this much in Latin was giving her mind a quick refresher course in it. She didn't exactly have all heightened senses, but once Valdus stopped and turned his head she would look at him curiously "what is it?" She asked him gently as she noticed he seemed to move in front of her view, what was he keeping her from seeing, it couldn't possibly be that bad right? She had killed herself plenty of times before, but usually it was a swift kill and disposal of the bodies where they'd never be found again. Like Valdus it was never in toruture, but mostly for those who had wasted their last chance with her father and it was always a death knock with her swords, swift and over. "End what?" She asked him, as a slight frown danced acrossed her lips. She couldn't resist the need to know, so would lightly put her hand against his back. Her head rounding his arm, and in that moment she wished she hadn't done so, the sudden urge to throw up was strong, she began to start gagging and attempting to not upchuck her dinner. What the hell was that, it couldn't be that! She swiftly looked away, that was horrid! Espiecally for what looked like, ugh she couldn't even bring herself to even think that word.
  9.
  10. Valdus For a moment Lily was forgotten a he focused on the girl. Any sort of killing was usually done in private or within the walls he lived in. Out in the open like this though...It was a whole new experience. His master may have done such things too, there wasn't any doubt, but again, Valdus hadn't. The outside world had plenty of things to teach him, little and large things that weren't important in his daily life. There was a tug then, one of stepping out of the shadows more...Perhaps a small rebellious side? Staying hidden had been his thing for quite a while, even his master told him to do so. This moment though was causing wheels to turn, ones that would surely get him in trouble at some point. For now though, he awaited a response until he felt Lily touch his back. Valdus didn't tense, barely even reacted to it until he heard the gagging. Another familiar sound, one that master's men tended to make when they came to the basement. The dying ones tended to make that sound too as they choked on their own blood. Was she hurt? "<i>Leelee?</I>" The being turned swiftly, now ignoring the girl and her prey. "<i>Esne bonus?</i>" He asked if she was ok. Without permission, his hands turned her, followed by a quick check over. The scent of blood was still fresh to him which made Valdus unsure if she was injured. This would prompt him to move her away from the fountain and down some other path in case the girl tried to attack. During his 'examination' he felt how chilly her clothing was and hadn't even noticed the weather they were in. "<i>Frigidus es?</I>" Was she cold? The shyness he had lied about earlier never reared it's head beyond their introduction. He had put himself between the scenes and was now willing to take her somewhere warm. She was the first person he's met outside his home and was becoming very precious to the being.
  11.
  12. Lily Vanneli Not understanding what had so gotten his focus, she was concered it maybe someone bad perhaps, as he hadn't even seemed that brave at showing himself earlier. A small cold feeling dropped right against her cheek, glancing up a moment oh, it was snowing, it was her first snow of the season, which meant it was for sure below freezing. But once she glanced back at him and placed her hand against his none pensive back she would quirk a brow, just as he head slid from around him, and that sight was more than enough to her cause to be sick. There was a lot of negative things she's seen, in her life, but that; talk about a shock and an instant need to feel sick to her stomach and throw up. That wasn't just any food it was homemade food, she did the time to make it and there was none left. Due to those few assholes back at the house had devoured most of it, they didn't take her serious half the time, at least about nothing considered work related. This was so much more different though, it was wretched, the only line she'd never cross, was for children. Once they ever came across one, either they'd be taken in and trained up, or placed in a good home; the family lawyer tended to most of that. It was just how it was in her family, that was always one thing, innocents were not part of the deal. That was something that she wasn't doing well controlling, and it was embarrassing. The first wave came up and it was right before Valdus had turned around. She would cough attempting to not start it all over again, as he asked her and a nod of her head a bit as if trying to let him know she was fine, just the sight made her very sick. Before she knew it she would feel that Valdus was being forward, turning her about, and seeming to check her down and she was perfectly fine. She was still coughing trying to not get sick again, as he was ushering further down another path. She was a bit more thankful than she could muster out, finally the coughing slowed down and she took a few deep breaths "iustum non vidisti aliquid simile quod multo .... ad me" she began telling him it was to much, never having seen anything like that before. A deep breath as she nodded to finally feeling a bit to cold, she had been able to bare it for a little while, "Vidi mala et accipit panem, et non tractare" softly telling him she has seen a lot of bad things, but this really took the cake. A dog shiver she would keep her eyes on Valdus, or the sky at this point, unsure of whst to do at this poiint. She was in a bit of shock, it was to be expected from her, the brain trying to process what it had seen, seeming a bit less spunk than she had to her earlier.
  13.
  14. Valdus All he currently felt was the chill in the air, the snow would remain unnoticed for now. Once the check over was completed and he didn't feel anything wet or organs hanging out, his concern diminished. Valdus would bring his hands to his sides again. Her words further confirming that she had gotten sick rather than hurt. He could see in his own way, but never knew how to put it into words. The images were just THERE in his mind, sometimes clear as day and sharper than any true sight. He still preferred touch though, which gave him more details. The being began to wonder if she had been sheltered from all this atrocities. As she continued though, it was the complete opposite and he'd nod. "Sic ego." So have I. It was feeling good in a way to have someone to relate with. His master had pretty much been the only one, the only friend he's really had. Valdus wasn't searching for others like him, but more a change in life. Repetition could get boring and though he'd never admit it, it was getting to him. "Non potui te in domum suam? Domum tuam." He was offering to take her home, but corrected meaning her home. What would master think if he snuck someone over? Technically the place he ran was a place for others...But Valdus wasn't supposed to be seen in the upper levels where guests stayed. He wasn't supposed to be seen at all, but Lily shouldn't be out there for too much longer.
  15.
  16. Lily Vanneli Lily was really fine, she wasn't hurt or the likes of such, but she let him do his checking if it only was to make him feel so much better that she wasn't hurt in anyways. Well other than getting so sick at a gruelling sight that she just had to know what was going on, her own mistake for the night, thankfully. She still hadn't really noticed his lack of eyes and a nose, but it wouldn't of made much of a differance now as he was extra kind to her in those moments. Feeling a bit indebted to him over it, but for now her focus on calming down was at the forefront of her mind. Finally catching her breath she would sigh, the night air catching her hot steamy breath she was starting to real herself in a bit. That one may give her nightmares for a couple of weeks, of course that was one thing her father hadn't warned her about at all.Maybe she should scold him for that tid bit, later on the next time they would talk, for now she had explained that it was probably one of the worst things she's seen by far. But she would give a slight smile at Valdus and nodded a bit as he agreed with her and finding he had the same experience. Perhaps the two of them did have a whole lot more in common. She felt that Valdus was already growing on her and she would be fine with it, that was part of the goal right, to create her own friends and connections? She would give a soft giggle at his correction "iam nunc me non accipit prima nocte diem non habuisset." Teasing gim a bit, telling him he couldn't take her home on the firdt night of meeting her, as they hadn't even had a proper date yet, but all in good fun and teasing him a bit. But she would not a bit "Certus, suavis et pulchra sonos, qui ex vobis" Sure, that sounds lovely and sweet of you.As infact it was very kind for him to offer, though she was quite capable of walking home alone. "This way" she pointed towards the opposite direction the had been in, and she would shove her hands inside of her pockets of her jacket as she stayed close to Valdus, but not so close she'd accidently bump into him. "calidum scelerisque aliquam, quam de te mihi adiungere?" how about you join me fore some hot Chcoclate, realizing the more they talked the better she was getting at the language again. Thinking he was doing her some really postive good that night.
  17.
  18. Valdus The teasing went over his head at first. Valdus hardly had any friends...Well, his master's servants really didn't count...They were around, but very expendable. He learned years ago not to get too close to any of them. Lily would be his first friend, for she didn't work for his master and lived outside of home. His expression was that of disappointment, a frown creasing the corners of his mouth, but he understood. They barely knew each other and he was being...Clingy. He liked her already, but that may be out of something new. Something new and wasn't scared off by him. It wasn't like he didn't KNOW what he looked like, his sight may be dulled, but his hearing was sharp. He had heard others talking about him and not in nice ways. Master soon corrected them though and some were even replaced. The damage done should have made him stay hidden, but it didn't. He only stayed hidden because he was told to. Lily running into him was an unpredictable accident, so he shouldn't get in trouble now. "Ad tempus quid facitis?" He asked what she meant by 'date'? He has heard the word before, but only pertaining to a day, not actually going out with someone. He wanted to do this right before taking her home...Oh...Wait a minute. "Ante vos erant ludo." You were teasing earlier. Something akin to a gruff, nervous laugh escaped him. More out of how he didn't catch it right away. Dummy! His hand came up and rubbed the back of his hood where his neck would be. She thought he was sweet. When she spoke of this way, he'd wait for her to start walking before following. The following words got a tilt from his head as both excitement was bubbling and some confusion. Someone was inviting HIM into their home! Was he allowed to go? It was still part of town, right? Valdus didn't know where the place ended sooo, yes? Yes. "Calidum scelerisque Quid est simile?" What was hot chocolate like? It wasn't as if Master had deprived him of sweets, but he's never tried chocolate hot before.
  19.
  20. She didn't know much about him, this was true, and yet she hadn't the slightest feeling that he'd want to harm her; not to mention the way he seemed to be incredibly concerned with her well being once she had gitten sick. So a bond of trust was created, she rarely let that wall fall away, but she was one to always trust the insticts: they've never let her down, and actions tended to speak a lot more than words ever could. It was all about one's body language, and the energy about them, there was always such signs as Valdus' expression was and her mouth dropped a bit as she shook her head. "Heu, non mediocriter offendit illud pollicitationi" oh no, I didn't mean anything wrong by it, promise! She would bite against her bottom lip, in fact it was quite the opposite. Her cheeks were starting to flush a deep crimson red, feeling a bit like an idiot for saying that, it wasn't meant to tell him he was being clingy or anything of that nature. Not knowing the extent to what he exactly looked like, but she want going to push the issue, besides his apperance would probably be quite mild to that horrid image popping up in her mind shaking it off a bit as she shook her head feeling a bit disappointed in herself. Only guy that she's finally encounted on her own, by sheer accident, was not well scared the living daylights out of by her father at least. Such was her life, finally room to breath here, and she screws it up.

  22. Lily Vanneli: She didn't know much about him, this was true, and yet she hadn't the slightest feeling that he'd want to harm her; not to mention the way he seemed to be incredibly concerned with her well being once she had gitten sick. Only guy that she's finally encounted on her own, by sheer accident, was not well scared the living daylights out of by her father at least. Such was her life, finally room to breath here, and she screws it up. She wanted to try and fix this, but didn't exactly know how, but once he asked her what she meant by a 'date' her cheeks flushed a deep crimson red. She muat of been cursed ir something, as this wasn't her night "Cum enim diem, tamquam vere ex illis aliquis .... et quaeritur, um romatically" a date is when, you really like someone....and ask them out, um romatically. She explained kind of bluntly, but her hair feel against her face trying to hide her flushed rosy red cheeks. But it seemed that soon enough he finally realized she was mostly teasing him and a bit of a nervous giggle came from as she apologized "Ego autem contristari nimis similis ludo malas Conabor" yes, i was, sorry i shall try to reftain from teasing so much like that. She would softly slip her hands back inside of her pockets as they walked along the sidewalks, coming to some small houses first, before reaching a single floored planned house and would head up to the bottom of a set of stairs She would smile at his question "Calidum scelerisque calidum potum factum est autem incaluerit, et scelerisque lac, et frui eo" Hot Chocolate is a warm beverage made of chocolate and warmed milk, you will enjoy it.
  23.
  24. Valdus Now that he had caught on to the teasing, things smoothed over. He didn't look sad anymore and felt a bit foolish for not figuring it out sooner. Valdus wasn't at fault though, having only been taught of important things and teasing wasn't one of them. Anyone that did such to him tended to be replaced. This was something he was use to and didn't befriend any of the help back home. He got his fix of socializing, sure, but it never went beyond just a few words for various reasons. For one it was his appearance, an unnatural, fearsome one. Fit the part of not to be trifled with, whether on guard or not. Valdus would listen more to the tone of her voice, rather than notice the flushing of her skin. There was a slight tilt to his head, like that of a bird learning new words. She had his full attention. 'Romantically' was a word he hadn't heard before, which caused an unsure expression to cross his patched face. Well he did like her, for she had been very nice to him. They were already out...So maybe 'romantically' meant seriously. Made sense to him. So Valdus would nod and speak. "<i>Nos es tunc in diem.</i>" We're on a date then. Was it his turn to tease or was he being serious? "<i>Te valde amo.</I>" I really like you. His hand went to his hood and tugged it a bit further down as they wandered to more populated areas. It was as if he could feel the houses and those that resided inside. This was far from being 'hidden' like he was supposed to be. Valdus would step in closer to Lily until she stopped at the steps to her home. He'd pause as well, listening to the answer she gave. "<i>Ego adfici ad experiri.</i>" He was thrilled to try it. "<i>Intus possumus ire nunc?</i>" He asked if they could go inside now.

  26. Lily Vanneli (Possible incoming)
  27. Being that he seemed to not be to sad anymore, which she was greatful for, she would take a bit of a breath, but still feeling a bit nervous, it wasn't like the teasing or rather flirtatious words she used was meant by harm. Rather in fact the opposite, she was really glad that they did meet by accident, as she wouldn't of been able to deal with the situation earlier in the park. She felt like he was entirely a big cinnamon roll, so cute, dispite what bit of his apperance she has seen. Very kind and sweet and the worry over her getting hurt was something that she didn't really think was happening. In her life the idea of ever actually truly going out on a date was always squashed, as there wouldn't be anyone good enough for her according to her father. But to meet someone and they have that much concern over you, once you get sick, tends to speak a lot about someone. Though trying to explain what a date was, held some difficulty as she didn't realize he wouldn't know much about it. She wondered if he'd ever seen a movie with it in there, that might actually be a bit of a better way to explain it. She might have to look through some of her movies when they got there, but at his words her cheeks flushed even darker if it was possible she'd just turn into a bright red tomato. This maybe something that made him just so adorable, though he was quite direct in his statements. "es certus?" Are, are you su-sure? She asked him as she would blush more at his liking her. "Ego vere similis tui est: Super tua dulcis mihi gratias vobis"I really like you to, your super sweet to me, thank you. Oh one would wonder maybe this might be a fast move? But you only live once right? Even she knew she would die eventually some day, and being free from her father she could do as she wished in her own personal life as long as it never affected her work. Once they stopped at the steps she would tilt her head up at him, boy he was so so tall, but some reason that just made her feel that much more safe. "Gaudeo bonum, et quod sic utinam, me paenitet, aliud quo animus sic admirati sunt" Good I'm glad, and oh yes, sorry, mind wondered else where this way. She would walk up the steps and stick her key in the door and unlock it before pushing it open. "domi te fac, obsecro" make yourself at home, please she told him as she slipped off her shoes and jacket in the hallway, hanging it up on a coat hook and placing her shoes under the bench that sat there. Shutting the door and locking it as it kept everyone safe. She would motion him to follow her and she took him into the kitchen. "I'll make the coco, would you care to watch?" She spoke in english, having forgotten he might have a bit of trouble, but she wanted to try and help him in learning the language more too. She would pull out chcolate, marshmallows, milk, coco powder, sugar and two mugs, as well as a pot to stick on the stove. The kitchen was more of a open floor plan, it seemed to waft into the living room with warm fluffy looking couches. "Tam spectare elit curares?" Would you care to watch a movie as well, she asked him as she poored the milk into the pot and began heating it slowly so that it wouldn't burn or scorch, otherwise it would turn out badly.
  28.
  29. Valdus The scene at the park was really nothing new to him. Only it had made Lily feel sick and terrible. This then prompted him to swear. No destruction and harm in her presence. She was the only friend he had outside the walls of home and he didn’t want to risk losing it. So, he would take on this ‘big softy’ appearance, even though that was his core. Valdus wasn’t a bad guy, wasn’t intimidating or the like unless his master told him to be. That, or if he deemed it fit to act in such a way. Bad people didn’t take hints when someone was nice, this he’d learned throughout the years. You had to get right in their face and show who the scarier person is. That in his ‘eyes’ would be master, followed by him. Valdus didn’t have the worry about anyone dating him, for he never knew the word beyond it being the number of a day. Now he knew there was another meaning and was excited to tell his master the new things he was learning. Then again, he was still worried that he hadn’t kept hidden like before. Nope, he took charge and…Well no that’s not how it went, she ran into him. So technically, he shouldn’t get any trouble from that. It was all fate and timings doing. Still, there was that nagging worry, but not enough to send him running home. Nope, he was currently at someone else’s home, turning her cheeks red like a tomato with his admission to liking her. Movies weren’t something he tended to go for, music and being read to was much easier. Master did the latter for him when he found the time to, mainly being whatever he was interested in. Valdus would sit there and listen, regardless of the genre. Questions tended to be asked after the story vs during. It’d help with him memory too and test to make sure he was paying attention. When she spoke, Lily got a smile from him. She liked him too and that made Valdus happy. “<i>Ita.</i>” Yes. Another thing he’d be telling master about; he went on a date because Lily liked him too! Any sort of death was far from his mind, though her own some day would make the being very sad. He knew of death, but didn’t want people he cared for to be part of it. “<i>Non veniam ad vos.</i>” She didn’t have to apologize. He was just nervous about being out in the open like that. So many houses packed close together had groups of people just as tightly packed. At least in town it felt like there was more room. Places to hide if need be. His hand came up to check on where the frame of the door was. Apparently, he’s had experience with bonking his head. Should he need to duck, he would and enter her abode. His head tilted when she said to make himself at home. It wasn’t like his home was a mess or the like, but she didn’t have the things he did…Did she? An old record player, some art supplies and chalk to doodle on the walls with. “<I>Alius dictisque lacessere?</i>” Another tease? He wanted to make sure he didn’t misunderstand again. He could hear her moving around behind him, but Valdus didn’t bother to do the same as she. He could remove his shoes at least, but that would reveal his scarred legs and bare feet. Instead he would wait for her next move. Heading to the kitchen, he’d follow her steps and would once more duck if he had to. “<I>I…watch. Leelee.</i>” The switch in language wasn’t bad and he needed the practice anyway. She had been kind enough to speak his ‘native’ words, so Valdus would try the same. Though he couldn’t exactly see, he listened to what she was doing and could smell the ingredients. His hand rested on a counter’s edge and he leaned some as if he was truly watching what she was doing. “<i>I watch moo-veee. Ita.</I>” Yes. Nothing to it.

  31. Lily Vanneli ((Incoming!))
  32. While Lily can handle killing bad people and grown people who owed money or drugs or whatever it is they got themselves in trouble for with no issues, but that reached her limits. Nope, it was gross and honestly she'd sooner rather forget the sight all together, perhaps a hypnotist could help her lock it away. Often times when it came to the very damaging life tragedies, it's where her father would take her, but maybe this time it would be better just to process it all. Though this was supposed to be her life now, and she needed to stop worrying about what her father would think all the time, that was one thing the two could sort of relate in. Their new found freedom to explore a bit and do as they pleased when it came to their own time, but work was still mandatory; well at least for him. Currently she was waiting for a phone call, supposedly something about setting her up with someone to train her better or whatever her father rambled on about. That was one thing she hated, growing up as a child of her old city's big mafia boss, it sounds more romantically appealing in the books than it ever does in life. Maybe while they had their coco before the offer of a movie she and he could talk abit more and get to know each other more. The only thing she was greatful for was those underling idiots her father sent to protect her were asleep as she asended the steps. Really it was the only time she could get true peace and quiet, and often locked them in their rooms to do so. "O bene optimum igitur nuntius noctis" oh well, that the best news of the night then, she giggled softly in response as she made herself as comfortable as possible once she stepped inside. Her doorways were that of an average standard height, where as she might look slightly like a child walking through, he'd most definitely look like a giant. She did indeed have a record player it was her grandmother's before she passed, that was who she considered to be her mother, the one woman who helped raise her. Her grandmother had a deep love of music, and instilled it into Lily, though she seemed to rarely use it anymore, perhaps it was just to painful. "Bene, si tu non es, hospes et rude" well you are a guest and I shouldn't be rude, she told him in a gentle tone. The house was very warm and inviting, as if it was the best place in the world, even Lily seemed to relax more as she stood there starting to pull things out they woukd need for their drink. "O, nihil, ego non vult: Volo vos sentio comfortable hic domus mea est in domum suam" Oh, no, i mean it, i want you to feel comfortable here, my home is your home, she assured him and smiled a bit. "Praeter in ludo uti oportet me esse vere dicitur de amatorie blandiri, id quod est id quod factum est." Besides, the teasing I was using should of really been called flirting, because that is what it was. She explained to him more as her cheeks flushed again as she started to figure out how much she would need to make and began to slowly melt thr chocolate and the coco powder and sugar together. "Alright then, grab a barstool chair there and sit down and I'll bring it to you" she told him sweetly as she motioned to the chair for him to have a seat in. Well as she was listening she would stop a moment as her mind swirled with thoughts "uh, ut faciam, quod non habeo, nisi sit aliquid aliud magis facere velis?" uh, we don't have to do that, unless there is something else you'd rather do? She asked gently as she started to poor the nice hot coco into cups and topping them with a few sweet marshmallows and then shifted to the island, to sit next to Valdus. Handing him the drink "Videte nunc ferventissimam sorbere lente" Careful now it is very hot, sip it slowly, she advised him as she gently crossed her legs taking a sip of the warm hot drink humming happily at the taste.

  34. Valdus Valdus was risking thinking on his own. It would come along with age and still being his own person. He wasn’t some mindless undead thing that lumbered about, but he still had his limitations. Learn on the fly, right? If what he was doing was wrong, he would ask for forgiveness and hope it was accepted. For now, any repercussions would be dealt with later. He was enjoying her company, the warmth and comfort of this home and the smells of the chocolate being brewed. This place wasn’t his home, far from it. It felt more…Alive? Maybe that would be the best word. It wasn’t like home was some cold, dark, dank crypt or anything. Master had standards, but it was the vibe of the place that differed. “<i> Es non rude. Ut nunquam puto.</I>” You’re not rude. Never think that. Though her tone had been gentle, his was firm. Seems Valdus has put his new friend on a pedestal and that’d she do no wrong. “<i>Ego comfortable.</I>” He added quickly. Valdus was comfortable. Flirting. Another new word he could tell master about. So many things that he should keep quiet, but lying was a big no no. If the man found out about anything there’d be more trouble. Grab a barstool. He’d stand there a moment, his hooded head turning slowly before he’d reach out for what he needed. His hand tested the amount of space he had before trying to sit. It wasn’t uncomfortable, at least not for him. If the stool could speak though, that’d be a different story. “<i>W-watch moooveee.</i>” He insisted in English. It’d get chalked up to ‘new experience’ too. He heard her sit close by and soon felt for the mug. His hands were callused, and a bit of reddish scarring peeked from under his sleeve. Once he took the mug, he could feel the heat confirming her warning. “<I>Cah air ful.</I>” He tried, but also understood. The mug tipped to his lips and he felt the marshmallows bump lightly against his mouth. The taste that soon followed was heavenly and it was hard not to gulp the hot liquid down. “<i> Est bonum. Gratias tibi.</I>” It’s good. Thank you.

  36. Lily Vanneli Lily was thrilled with having company other than a few lazy boyish goones for a change, she would often find that one could only stay around them so long before wanting to tear their hair out. Valdus seemed to be, very calm and comfortable in her home, at least the one for now, who knows where life would take her. For now though she did her best to try and just enjoy the moment of things, and ignore the small fact she did bring a stranger into her home. She kept it warmed with the feeling of life as often times it was the only space she could truly relax at without a care, and it was her safety place, and would probably always be that way. "O, ego me non vult, sed non plus velle quam esse." oh, i didn't mean that I was, but more that I didn't want to be. She told him as her cheeks flushed a bit, boy who was supposed to be teaching who tonight? Oh well, she knew she wasn't always a good person, but she tried her best to do what she could when she could. Often times though, it seemed to back fire in her face, and maybe because she felt safe with Valdus. "Et quamquam plus sapere volunt ad dico watchbwhat" I'll be wiser though to watchbwhat I say, she assured him as she finally was comfortable sitting next to him. Gently taking another sip of her hot coco, wondering a bit about him more as she thought of possible questions that wouldn't seem to nosy. "Bonum Gaudeo te, hoc est, quod dixi, ut sentio comfortable, quaedam sicut domi" Good I'm glad you are, that is what I meant, to feel comfortable, kind of like at home. She told him with a soft giggle and smiled at him. Though she smiled softly at him and nodded her head a bit "okay okay movie it is then, but finish your coco first don't want a mess in the living room" she told him slowly, not as a way to put him down, but that he could try and catch onto the language. Nodding her head more "that's right, careful" she told him as she sipped more on her coco.Though she too would chug it down if she could and wouldn't burn her tongue. "o ego sum tam libenter, quam frui eo" oh, I'm so glad that you enjoy it. She would softoy bite her bottom lip a bit as she thought, it seemed to be a nervous habit of hers. "Ita, Valdus, quid est quod te velim facere pro fun?" So, Valdus, what is it that you like to do for fun? She asked as she warmed her hands on her cup and sipped more as she was alloted to without burning her tongue off.
  37.
  38. Valdus "<i>Nonne tu es.</I>" You're not. He repeated, though it wasn't needed. Perhaps it was to seal that she never would be, not to him. He'd pause and turn his head a bit to 'look' at her. "<i>Et non opus est.</i>" She didn't need to. Valdus may have suddenly seen a mistake in his own responses. "<I> Honeste autem circa me quod vis, potes dicere. Im 'utor ad eam. Si non molesta est mihi iam satus.</i>" Honestly, you can say anything you want around me. I'm use to it. Shouldn't start bothering me now. Another sip of the coco, though no marshmallows this time as they've melted. "<i>Hoc sentit melius est in domum suam.</i>" This feels better than home. There he admitted it. Valdus couldn't understand why, but it did. It's not to say though, if he had the option, that'd he'd leave HIS home. He was well taken care of there and had no reason to abandon it. He'd pause when she spoke of finishing the drink so there'd be no mess. Now he wondered whether or not to chug it. Careful was repeated though, so he stuck to the original plan. What did he do for fun? He'd gently swirl the mug as he thought about it. "<I>Ego expectantibus dominum usque uigiliarum, musicam audire .</i>" He'd start with waiting for his master to wake, listen to music... "<i>Perseus secum trahunt. Nos uti creta. Magis haereat areae murosque firmabant. Sicut sensus fit sonus.</i>" Draw with Teddy. We like to use chalk. It sticks better to the floors and walls. I like the feel and sound it makes. "<i>Quia non capit Taurus paegnium creta. Tum sic uti manibus meis.</I>" Teddy can't hold the chalk because he's a toy. So I use both my hands. He'd move his fingers to emphasize. "<I>Non efficiunt aliquid speciale, sicut informante. Ea re quod nec ego adepto laudatur.</i>" Don't create anything special, just shapes. I get praised for them no matter what. After he spoke, he was done. Seems his fun was limited, but it was his entertainment. He wouldn't admit to her though, that when he listened to music he tried to dance. Nothing special there either, just some shuffling to expel energy. "<i>Quid de te?</I>" What about you?
