Chaps 1

So I guess the first page didn't introduce anybody of anything of that matter. Sorry.

Monday. Another day another dollar. Something to clear up is that I am a varsity quarterback, and a definitely intriguing one at that. I've been in my thoughts after watching an anime movie with serious themes Friday. It moved me so much, I read the entire manga a day later. Every character has a relatable piece that makes them seem human, however..One character in particular reminds me so much of myself I just feel disgusted. This character never wins in the end, which just had me thinking. Is that really how life should be? I head over to school around 7:20, and I see Kyra. her and I aren't the best in terms of relations, but I still had to tell her.

"Hey, have you heard about Cruz's dad?"

"No."

"He passed away last weekend. Car crash."

  Truth be told, I was nearly in tears after saying that. Life wasn't fair, but I had come to respect it. It's just life. Marvelli learned of this later, and we, as a class had found out they were best friends and played together. It was really, just, terrible.

I don't want to talk about most of my day, as I've fallen off the food chain. But I was lonely and needed company throughout passing periods. Not something you'd hear from a quarterback. After lunch I ran into little salmos, young daniel. He told me to switch positions as i couldn't deliver a pass. I knew he was joking as he doesn't play anymore, but people came up to me, asking if this were true. Lol.


I went to my fourth. Spanish. Now being the only black kid, I had hoped me being singled out wasn't due to that. 7 tardies from walking in as the bell rang. Always talking behind me. Watching me with those eyes. I was forced to play Kahoot on the computer despite having it in phone.

"Tyler is such a...", Macie Whitehead had said, fake bleached hair.

I gave her the eyes of demolition. "What."



Football is more of me fighting to keep my role Asa the defensive coordinator wants me to play end because I played parts a of it last season. Same with the JV coaches. My only problem Is that I play the side I'm not comfortable on, And I'm more fluent at playing linebacker. Some days i don't get to throw the ball...
