Stream FAQ (a.k.a. a ranting wall of text about how I hate everything on Twitch)

### No "show format".
By "show format", I mean "streamer turns on their stream, they have a 'Stream starting shortly' image and like 10 minutes of music, then they go into this long rant about their day and thanking subscribers before ever touching the game which lasts another 10 minutes. They eventually get to the game which they don't ever focus on because they are too busy reading the chat and the millions of 1 dollar donations they get which are nothing but trolls who want their 15 seconds to get their name on the stream with a shit joke. Then the streamer eventually stops and plays a 'Stream Ending' image for another 10 minutes with music playing."
THERE IS NONE OF THAT HERE.
I just pick whatever I feel like playing, load up the game, start up the stream, and within a minute I'm playing. When I stop playing, I just stop streaming, because I'm done for that day.

### No follower / donation / sub alerts on screen
They are distracting, cluttersome, serve no purpose other than giving the viewer some sort of "15 seconds of fame" feeling that no one will remember tomorrow. It's too easy to create a troll account (or a few hundred), and just spam follow the streamer in question and flood his/her alert system, or to find the minimum amount to trigger a donation alert and do it that way. Overall, it's a waste of space and I won't be using them. If you want your "viewer recognition", go watch someone else and trigger their alerts. If you want some recognition, you can just talk in my chat and maybe provide some interesting feedback to the stream, and if you decide to be rude I can always revoke your speaking privileges.
I also support anonymity and sometimes a viewer just wants to follow a stream without the whole world knowing that they did.

### No facecam
If you are too busy staring at my face then you are not watching the game. You are not watching a service that focuses on the people playing the games, you are watching a service that focuses on the games being played, and that is my focus: the games. I do use a camera for my rhythm game controllers, because it is a standard thing to do for those games, and it does not take away from the game since you are seeing exactly how the person is hitting the notes. There is no reason you need to see my "facial reaction" to anything I play, I don't play anything that has the need for any facial reaction.

### No schedule
This isn't a job to me, it's just something I do whenever I feel like it. No schedule means complete freedom. If you want to know when I'm streaming, just be smart and follow the channel and the Twitter, you'll instantly know when I start streaming if you are online.

### LIMITED microphone
You have to be EXTREMELY careful what you say while you stream, anything can be taken out of context and will suddenly be against Twitch TOS and you wake up the next day with a banned account. By not talking, I reduce the chances of getting my account banned.
For me, personally, if I'm talking and playing a game at the same time then I won't be fully dedicated towards playing the game. Mistakes in the game will happen, due to trying to think of what to say instead of staying focused on what I am playing. I find it easier to just shut up and play rather than thinking about what to say next. This may be boring to some of the viewers, but that is not an issue with me. If they don't like it, they can watch someone who doesn't focus on the game and would rather talk nonsense for hours.
During rhythm game streams, it is pretty much entire muted during game play, mainly because no one wants to hear the constant clacking of plastic buttons. Depending on the controller, they can be very annoying to listen to, especially if the mic audio is not synced 100% with the game. I might talk in-between songs.

My stream is about the game I'm playing, not me. I am not interesting in the least, but the game I am playing "might" be (definitely is more than myself). I'm not here to entertain, I'm here to play games that others have the option to watch. I feel like the majority of streamers currently are "personality streamers", trying to entertain and sell themselves out and not caring for the game they are playing. However I am the complete opposite, I give no care to myself and just care about showing the viewers the game I am currently playing. The very essence of "video game streaming" is in the name: streaming a video game.

I already know I will not be successful in streaming, by definition meaning being popular and getting a sustainable revenue from it, so I'm just going to have fun with it and not try hard at trying to entertain the audience I know I won't have. I've already tried for 5 years to create an audience (2012-2017), but that didn't end up working out with the rules I set for myself. Some may ask "Why bother streaming if no one is going to watch?" It doesn't hurt to press the Start Streaming button while I'm playing a game, and someone MIGHT pop in to see what's going on. That's what I've always been hoping for since 2012.

- A streamer who tries hard to entertain his/her audience
- A greenscreen webcam
- A "gamer branded" chair such as DXRacer. You don't need a "gamer chair" to sit comfortably, there are plenty of WAY cheaper chairs that are more comfortable. They are nothing but expensive imitation racing chairs designed for the clueless brand-affiliated gamer. If you are looking for a chair, head down to your local Staples store and sit in some chairs, find one that is more comfortable for cheaper.
- Top Donator / Recent Sub / New follower text all over the place.
- A streamer who is always talking to the chat while giving almost no effort into playing the game.
- A streamer who likes using words like "like, comment, subscribe", or "hype"
- A streamer who likes to say "Welcome to the whatever" whenever someone subscribes.
- A streamer who uses any sort of coupon code (like GreenManGaming or G2A), third party affiliate/sponsor links (like Amazon or various PC hardware peripheral companies), or paid referral links.
