  1. [19:05] A yellow flash blurred towards the area, revealing himself a towering demon of gold, before smashing an with a powerful jab.
  2.
  3. He grunted as he crushed what remained, putting them in his pocket.
  4.
  5. "You. State your allegiance," he said as he glanced to Leng.
  6. (Dantalion)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [19:13] She is no flash, no. Just an idle, head=tilted Drakanite who before even he speaks seems to refuse to acknowledge him. It takes his direct approach to stir her from her apparent lull, even though that a shell of magmic magics sticks to her, covering a very bruised and battered form.
  10.
  11. " Tongyishan, I guess. By honor, until I'm forcefully removed from their midst. You plan on doin' that, big guy? 'lil tussle in the caves to capture the wayward soldier 'n take 'er home? Or that not your M.O. "
  12.
  13. Raspy and quiet, her voice as she leans against the cave wall and stares up at the demon. She seems vaguely bemused, the prospect. Not like she knows this demon, their strengths or lack thereof.
  14.
  15. But there's better ways to not waste their time, and also worse.
  16. (Leng)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [19:19] "Human. You all are surrounded by sins. Embodiments of sin. So, you also must know dangerous it is to act with arrogance in front a demon, no? By insulting a human's pride alone, they'd resort to what you call unimaginable acts, such as war, murder, or even genocide. Did you know that? Now, what more for insulting such a disgusting creature you humans named a demon? Sullied - no, they who are darkness themselves?" he asked telepathically.
  20.
  21. "I'm sure that you by far know the answer to my question, no? Never to insult a demon, nor to never insult their pride. So, let me ask you. Why do you carry yourself with arrogance?" the demon spoke, his voice clear and ambiguous, lingering upon the female's mind.
  22. (Dantalion)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [19:34] " Ya misunderstand be, demon. "
  26.
  27. She meets him with a heavy gaze, a casual air, and speaks the same tone in returning words that burrow into her skull. To every would-be syllable and sound, perhaps Dantalion notices that the occult-bore scar on her cheek pulsates, almost in resonance. It is an easy thing, to believe, that she is arrogant. That she is disrespectful. uncaring for strengths or lack thereof, that she is ignorant to her own demeanor, her expression of self.
  28.
  29. " I don't attack ya. Yer person. I just have no interest, we have no business, if you have no reason ta try and return me ta my former master. I don't really consider this encounter as anything more than over, if so nothin'a that nature comes of it. I've nothin' ta offer you, and you, nothin'a offer me. "
  30. (Leng)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [19:41] "You speak of a misunderstanding. Yet, you puff your chest with conceit as you speak. You feel entitled. You feel as if the world must turn and give you something, before you give something back. Your scars speaks for yourself, that you are a woman who have seen many, have fought many. Yet, it baffles me how naïve you are," said the voice, yet it hinted nothing of fury - but only clarity. Flat clarity and sounding so vague one might not be able to tell if it belongs to a male or a female, betraying Dantalion's appearance.
  34.
  35. "You are thoroughly mistaken, and you've the chance to prove me wrong. Now, tell me. About the scar carved on such an alluring face." Dantalion added as crimson eyes dug deep on the scar, eyes as if bellowing with curiosity.
  36. (Dantalion)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [19:52] hey a rok
  40. (Leng)
  41. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  42.
  43. [19:54] " My indifference ain't arrogance. But I can understand where ya come from. Arrogance would claim confidence, of which I got none'a. Nor am I naïve. Just unbothered by my own lack'a self-preservation. "
  44.
  45. A little shrug and a sigh follow, before she raises a hand, and runs fingers then over the mithril studs in her cheek, their very purpose it seems to quell the pulsating occult presence still lodged in her wound. As he'd noticed, it took something greatly dark to leave so lasting a mark.
  46.
  47. " The scar was given by none other than m'lord of before I were captured, Tragedy. I fought her in a battle, and she marked me, to remind me of which side I had found myself on. A mark I deserved, and a mark I wear. "
  48. (Leng)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [20:00] "No. You use your indifference as an excuse for your arrogance. And no, you are not unbothered by your lack of preservation. You use it as a tool to speak whatever you want. Be it may for a demon or a human. But enough of this. I simply advice you caution when speaking to our kind. Others may not have the same patience as me, and I am not fond of threats, for I simply burn those who I do not fancy," he retorted, yet his eyes were still upon the scar, mouth unmoving.
  52.
  53. "And you claim that your lord is Tragedy, yet you also claimed that your allegiance falls to Tongyishan. Do you really aim to confuse me? Or do you mean to insult my intelligence? Do you mean to mock me, human?"
  54.
  55. Dantalion then cast his gaze on Leng, endlessly patient for an answer. An answer he demands.
  56. (Dantalion)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [20:12] " … You understand what it means to be honorbound, right? "
  60.
  61. Now, she borders and trials off with voice towards the direct, the bluntly disrespectful, with a slight growl to the tone brought about by the constant challenging of her person.
  62.
  63. " I sat in separate dungeons, expectant of death both times, for over a year while my lord slept. Was captured, slated for sacrifice first, execution second. Then fuckin' spared not by her hand, but by sheer fucking luck, only reason I'm here right now. When somebody wins me back, I will return to her. They dragged me away, after I were defeated once. So I sit in places of contest, like here, and wait for somebody with the strength to drag me back, or I will defeat them and move on until I feel it's right to return of my own volition, that my singular purpose as a soldier's fulfilled. "
  64. (Leng)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [20:19] "So, is that it? Not only are you arrogant, entitled, but you believe the world spins around yourself?" the demon asked, still telepathically, yet the tone it carried remained unchanging - as if genuinely curious, without a hint of mocking.
  68.
  69. "You expect that the world owes you for you believe you've suffered a lot. And that the world must pay for it has done, the world, and everyone in it. Am I right? And now, you demand everyone to fight over you, like a princess caused by a war, because princes and kings wishes for her hand. And the only way to gain it, is to slaughter each other. And yet you claim you're not naïve. Do you hear yourself, human? Or do you wish for me to repeat your own words? What are you, really? And what made you act like a goddess or a queen?"
  70. (Dantalion)
  71. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  72.
  73. [20:24] " You can tell me that I am arrogant, but I know what I am, demon. Yer not provoking me. "
  74.
  75. Her dullness returns, as she scratches again at the scar with a slight grimace.
  76.
  77. " I am a tool. A thing. A weapon with a dull blade, to be held by another, pointed at one's enemies. A cog in the machine of this world, easily replaced and easily forgotten. My feelings may dictate to whom I seem appealin' in wieldin', but what I am is what I am. A soldier who longs fer her purpose. "
  78. (Leng)
  79. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  80.
  81. [20:33] "A tool? Is that how you really see yourself, your Highness?" he retorted, the tone remaining as is - lyrical and clear.
  82.
  83. "No. You do not think yourself as such. A tool does not think. You claim you're a cog, yet you remain and act like a master of the world, as if with the ability to twist and bend destiny and fate. You are not a soldier because you wish for someone to win you back. A mercenary perhaps is a better word to describe your profession. However, you as a person is something else - lest you stop acting so entitled." he continued.
  84.
  85. "You lie and believe your own lies. But, you do not fool those around you. Perhaps they act fooled because they have no interest on you, because there is something much larger than them that they must face. And here I am, standing before you. And I demand an answer from you, oh tool, oh weapon, oh cog."
  86.
  87. "What do you really want?"
  88. (Dantalion)
  89. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  90.
  91. [20:58] how does this keep happen
  92. (Leng)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [21:01] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  96. [21:06] She ends up grinding her teeth, as the demon goes on, boring into her skull with words that etch against her proper purpose, what SHE has deigned for HERSELF.
  97.
  98. She does not have that pride, that confidence, that thought of her own person. Weak, frail, and a failure only fit to serve use, with no right to continue to fail in the decision of her own course, she clings to others for that.
  99.
  100. Leng knows what she is. Qiao knew what she was. How dare this demon tell her anything but. How dare it tell her she's got this cocky, greater, domineering attitude towards her peers. That she doesn't already KNOW that she is an insignificant spec in this world, that it is pure selfishness she dares want anything but her own death at this point, with all her failures mounting, with her purpose proven to be her undoing time and time again.
  101.
  102. Something's bending, struggling to remain constrained within her chest, and the demon's prodding is clearly beginning to upset the young woman, already not exactly the pinnacle or even standard of mental health to begin with.
  103.
  104. " I want. You to stop tryna pretend like you're fuckin' omniscient. And fuck off. "
  105.
  106. She hisses, and then doubles back on herself, her own words.
  107.
  108. " You don't know me but at a glance, with a single exchange. I don't owe you, or anybody an answer. My purpose is to continue to exist until somebody kills me. There is no want except for the strength that comes from not dying. But I do not FEAR anythin', let alone dyin'. "
  109. (Leng)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [21:20] "And thus she answered. You've claimed and boasted a lot. But, no. With fury, you conflicted and crushed your own statements, your own claims. And no, I do not pretend that I am omniscient. But, I know you humans, and you all are the same. You surround yourself with a miasma of mystery, yet what stands and what remains is simply but a husk, a husk you attempt to fill. To fill so that you'll find a place in this world. You pretend to be someone significant, and then backing away learning you're at fault. That is who YOU are. You are filled with pride, arrogance, self-entitlement. Because you have no other way to compensate for your inferiority and weakness." the demon continued, undeterred by the woman's frustration.
  113.
  114. "Indeed, you are weak and inferior. And yes, of course, you do not owe me an answer or anybody. Because it is us that should owe you instead - you, the poor victim. Ah, and your purpose is to continue to exist until somebody kills you? No, isn't your purpose to remain the princess in a tug of war. For someone to win your hand? Isn't that your purpose? Why do you keep on changing your mind? What you want, isn't it for someone to take you? Someone you may deem worthy? And isn't thinking that way only proves your arrogance? Yes, one encounter and I know you more than yourself." without remorse, he spoke.
  115.
  116. "Prove me wrong, human. Prove me wrong. No? You don't want to? Why? Ah, because I'm right, isn't it? Of course I am."
  117. (Dantalion)
  118. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  119.
  120. [21:29] Mines.
  121. (Setzer)
  122. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  123.
  124. [21:30] Mine
  125. (Bella Di Maria)
  126. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  127.
  128. [21:38] " Shut. Up. There ain't nothin' fuckin' about what I am that yer right about except what I'M SAYIN'. You speak on fuckin' assumption and observation where I 'ave the culmination of every moment of my fucking life leading up ta this moment to know what the goddamn shit I am. You?
  129.
  130. NOTHIN'.
  131.
  132. There is no significance to me that makes me believe you are what I think I think I am-- FUCK. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I CONTINUE TA EXIST AND ACT AS I FUCKIN' PLEASE.
  133.
  134. Y'know what? I don't care what that means. If I feel like it, I'll DO it. And if my current course'a action, like I fuckin' told you, is just that? I'll keep doin' it. I don't need to pry apart the reasonings, paint it as something greater than a tool's glimmering little impulse.
  135.
  136. I don't fucking care. "
  137.
  138. She's seething, in restrained a manner, leaning back at the cave's wall by the end of things. But not, no relaxed, arms folded. Her fingers dig into stone, and send spiderwebbing cracks into the icy rock.
  139.
  140. She's very, very on edge, and blatantly defensive.
  141. (Leng)
  142. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  143.
  144. [21:53] "You are angry because I'm right. A human wouldn't waste a massive effort to prove one wrong - at least when regarding to themselves. They'd say, 'Right, sure you know who I am,' and perhaps even laugh and end the discussion like that. But you, you're mad, you're furious because I'm right. And yes, you are to exist and act as you please, that's what you really want.
  145.
  146. You do not consider yourself a tool, a weapon, no. You are just like everyone, desirous and lustful. Just like every other human - banal and uninteresting. You are not the poem that you desire to be. You keep your scar to feel special. But, unfortunately, we both know that you're not.
  147.
  148. And I shan't force myself to defeat you, a weapon as you falsely claimed. Not even a cog. Because a cog serves purpose, and you do not. You do not serve a purpose, thus you're not a cog. Not a weapon, not a soldier. You are an empty husk thatyou so desperately wish to fill. But, I will not feed your ego, and I will leave you here. Because though you may physically exist, you actually do not. That is your existence, woman. Your existence is nothing. You are nothing because you've thrown away what picked you up. What is supposed to have given you identity is now gone. Because of you're arrogance. Who knows if that will change. But 'knowing' YOU, it will not. You are to remain insignificant."
  149.
  150. Dantalion spoke telepathically, directly towards Leng. So, none could hear him, but the woman alone.
  151.
  152. He then turned his head toward the group.
  153.
  154. "And look. Your saviours. They will claim you, and you will be a weapon to them to prove me wrong. They will claim you because they're worthy, and finally the princess' hands will have won by them. Such an interesting tale, isn't it?" the demon spoke, finally with human tongue, his voice sounding low and heavy compared to his lyrical telepathic voice.
  155. (Dantalion)
  156. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  157.
  158. [21:55] Blood.
  159. (Mythran Yugao)
  160. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  161.
  162. [22:02] Mythran Yugao says, "Blood for Jianghu, valmasia must be destroyed."
  163. [22:13] Her fingers tremble. Her throat itches. Her teeth grit. Heat bellows from the bubbling cracks in her magma shell, and it begins to melt the long-frozen earth beneath her feet, sending steam bellowing up as the heat only rises the more it bores into her skull, his words.
  164.
  165. Denied even rebuttal, defense of herself by the arrival of others. Her patience wears so thin, paper thin, ready to fall apart, the Drakanite woman ready to snap.
  166.
  167. Not because of what he'd assumed, no, but by grinding into her psyche what she already knows, the insignificance of her purpose and in what way she lacks that she matters to anyone in the world until she is already away. Only in retrospect, did she ever matter. Only in frailty and weakness or singular instance does she matter.
  168.
  169. There is shadow under her eye, scowl and weight and unearthly glow to that Draconic eye as she unsheathes blade and drags it loudly, tip against icy ground, leaving light scar in a wiggly line.
  170.
  171. … She walks right past the demon, forward towards the line of onlookers.
  172.
  173. " … None of these people know me. Give a fuck about me. Have spoke a single word my way. They are not here to interfere. They will not. This is mine. "
  174.
  175. She turns back to the demon, dangerously close, radiating a vibrant heat, clinching a single hand around the sword still set on her shoulders, and she whispers. While not audible, the venom certainly translates in glare and aura.
  176. (Leng)
  177. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  178.
  179. [22:13] Leng whispers: You say that I am arrogant, yet also I am nothing. What would that make you, then, if I killed you here and now?
  180. [22:19] Mythran didn't know her well at all.
  181.
  182. That doesn't mean he didn't care, he notices that she's intent on fighting the Kaor demon one on one. Looking at her form and thinking for a while he nods.
  183.
  184. "If you wish to challenge the beast by all means go ahead, I'll of course intervene if things get rough. Though I'm confident in your ability I believe that you will win." He smiles parting his hair.
  185.
  186. "Destroy that beast, rid of the chaos he plans to spread. Claim the victory for yourself and for the innocent. Be great."
  187.
  188. His mythril hand falls on to his sheathed katana as he sizes up Lord dantalion. Leng should win and even if she didn't the Kaor will be dealt with one way or another.
  189.
  190. The Yugao understood things like these. This was a personal bout, it was respected.
  191. (Mythran Yugao)
  192. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  193.
  194. [22:21] The Sarradian has had his sights within this cave, some good some bad but as for this particular one, he just couldn't put his hand on it.
  195.
  196. "Ohsh..?"
  197.
  198. His Jade-colored eyes met Dantalion almost immediately. Setzer didn't even notice Leng standing aside of him. Immediately, the elder man grabbed onto the Umbran, the staff on his back before leaking of a light colored electricity.
  199.
  200. "Shouldsh we evensh give thish a chanshe to explain itshelf..?"
  201.
  202. Setzer eyes quickly glanced towards each and every single ally that stood by his side before his vision returned to the Kaor in front of him. The Aged-man clenched his staff with a rather firm grip until - He notices Leng, who looked to surely be here before they even arrived. Guess he was acting a bit older than he usually do.
  203.
  204. "O-Ohsh...didn't shee her.."
  205.
  206. Setzer patiently listened to Mythran's words before nodding.
  207.
  208. "I shee, I shee..Ish ish up to her, yesh.."
  209. (Setzer)
  210. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  211.
  212. [22:29] Bella simply followed Setzer here. She honestly barely paid attention to why given the fact that she had just got through with a sparring match before she saw her lover taking off and tagged along.
  213.
  214. Now there was a demon here.
  215.
  216. The kitsune had made up her mind not to step in unless forced to. If she saw the demon attacking, she would not hesitate to jump in.. Though when it seemed like the woman wanted to do it solo, and more allies appeared the Di Maria decided to just stand back.
  217.
  218. Blue eyes took in the beast before her. Did he even start this fight? What did he mean prove his point?.. What were the pair talking about before they arrived.
  219.
  220. The teen's stance seemed calm. Her hands in her pockets as she stood at Setzer's side.
  221. (Bella Di Maria)
  222. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  223.
  224. [22:32] "You've become arrogant because they're here. Your salvation, your saviours. You know that their very nature compels them to do so. They shout order and justice, so they must save the innocent, and even the princess caught in tow. You've gained confidence because you have them now as your companion to slay the demon, the demon whom exposed the truth - the truth about yourself, your pitiful existence." he said and merely offered Leng a brief second of a glance, his ambiguous, lyrical voice finally filling the heads of those around - everyone.
  225.
  226. "Perhaps they don't care about you. But you are manipulating them into fighting FOR you, WITH you. Because they will fight no matter what, for YOU. That's how you envision it, although you know that they will try to slay me because of their perception of justice, because demons are evil that they must erase. Because they must kill a demon that might end up slaughtering their kin on the coming war - despite the fact that it was them who started this war. And YOU. YOU are using that as your shield, to save what little remains of you." Dantalion continued, his eyes upon the Yugao, who spoke of getting rid of chaos.
  227.
  228. "And if I accept your challenge, besting you in the end, they will stop me from killing you. They will SAVE you, the heroic princess, and they will paint themselves as heroes. I'm right, isn't it? Because you humans are the same, you are only strong collectively. Yet pitiful individually." added the demon, everyone able to hear his words in their minds as he scanned the gathered - from Dan, Bella, Setzer, Mythran, and to Kitai.
  229.
  230. "Isn't it, woman? Yes, you know I'm right, and you were unable to do anything about it until they came. Do you know how pitiful you are?"
  231. (Dantalion)
  232. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  233.
  234. [22:39] Any harder, and she might crack a tooth. Her knuckles crack under the force of her own grip on blade.
  235.
  236. Her breaths are a seething whisper, but they cut through the silence of the cave.
  237.
  238. " … We leave. Now. And none of them follow. Does that content the worry and the doubt of your being, demon? If any of them follow, I my-fucking-self will attack any or all of them, and give you freedom to flee. "
  239.
  240. A simple offer. A statement.
  241. (Leng)
  242. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  243.
  244. [22:42] Dantalion ignored Leng.
  245.
  246. "She will be killed on cold blood. Dead, just like that. Because she allowed her fury to kill her. Her head will be stabbed on a pike, for you all to see. And darkness would have won once more, the evil only growing as the innocent fell and died to a demon's fire." he said, addressing the others.
  247.
  248. "Is that how you'd want this tale to end?"
  249. (Dantalion)
  250. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  251.
  252. [22:47] Dan just wanted to mine some ores in the ice-cave not come across his friend, a demon and several other people from Ardent. He mostly sat on the sideline for the entire thing, Dan was originally content with her trying to fight it alone until...
  253.
  254. Well it said that, that certainly managed to irritate him enough. He knew that she'd probably be a little pissed but it wouldn't be the first time.
  255.
  256. "No... it's really not. I sure as hell believe that she'll be able to beat ya' and that she won't want interference but... Nah, I don't want to see her dead."
  257.
  258. "Someone here does give a damn believe it or not..."
  259.
  260. He figured that she'd be able to take him on but he asked a question and he was atleast going to answer it.
  261. (Dan Karadin)
  262. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  263.
  264. [22:47] Kitai looked towards Lord Dandelion. She recalled him being with Lazarus and robbing her but an honor duel was an honor duel in her books. She had one before so she hadn't the right to interrupt another persons request.
  265.
  266. "I believe you were that one demon from years ago. Like a beautiful Dandelion, as much as I would like to interrupt I can't interrupt someones honorable duel."
  267.
  268. In truth she did not hate dandelion as the rest did. It was war, true he was evil but she saw evil in all people recently. The very few she didn't had either died or become friends of a sort. Dandelion would be a tough foe for the other from the looks of it, but who is to believe she would lose just from looks alone.
  269. (Kitai)
  270. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  271.
  272. [22:51] "You say that like anyone here will allow her death.. The moment I see things going too far will be your death, Demon.. But I trust Dan's opinion. If he says she can beat you then she will.", the kitsune replies calmly.
  273.
  274. Did the beast really think he could get away with murder with all these watching eyes? What did he take us for?
  275. (Bella Di Maria)
  276. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  277.
  278. [22:54] "I shuppose sho...Honorsh and whatnotsh.."
  279.
  280. His eyes shifted to Leng.
  281.
  282. "I barely knowsh you and shpoke with you, but death is not shomething I whish for you, I wouldsh even gosh to rishk my life to protects you."
  283.
  284. The Sarradian's focus turned to the Demon.
  285.
  286. "I will allows the battle to take placesh..I believesh in their will and abilitiesh."
  287.
  288. Of course, death would not be an option for the woman, as long as the Sarradian stood within the area. His staff remained in the grips of his hand as he prepared himself to watch such battle.
  289. (Setzer)
  290. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  291.
  292. [22:54] His eyes lock on to Leng his face neutral.
  293.
  294. Her request was very odd too Mythran it almost sounded suicidal and the demon's words didn't help. He speaks his voice was stern. "Don't get yourself killed miss." He sighs. Her decision seemed pretty dumb, but if she wins then there'd be no issue.
  295.
  296. He turns to the demon.
  297.
  298. "Listen well." He points to Leng. "If she doesn't kill you, better hope I don't find you." His arm quickly falls to his side tucked into his cape as a smile appears.
  299.
  300. "Have your honor duel."
  301. (Mythran Yugao)
  302. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  303.
  304. [22:55] Bella Di Maria says, "Mythran, you're such a nerd."
  305. [22:56] Mythran Yugao says, "Blood. Death to chaos. Glory for Jianghu. War. War. War."
  306. [22:59] His eyes scanned them once more, before it fell upon Kitai and spoke in rough tongue, "And you did not heed my warning. For I have returned."
  307.
  308. "And you've finally decided. As per her wish,we will leave this place, and she will die. You will see her again, but only her corpse and nothing more. And you all will know that you caused her death, because you cannot eat your pride. Because of all your arrogance. And the tale ends with darkness standing over all - once again, the order lost. I, Dantalion wrote this tale, but you've written how it ended. It ended with death."
  309. (Dantalion)
  310. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  311.
  312. [23:00] Welp
  313. (Dan Karadin)
  314. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  315.
  316. [23:00] Leng says, "Better than to live a coward."
  317. [23:00] Dantalion says, "And die as nothing. Die as no one."
  318. [23:00] Dan Karadin says, "If you die... I'll miss ya' and I'll be very pissed off."
  319. [23:00] Bella Di Maria exclaims, "Shut up!"
  320. [23:00] Dantalion says, "I shall grant your wish, insignificant woman."
  321. [23:01] Mythran Yugao says, "Shut up virgin."
  322. [23:01] Leng says, "fk u "
  323. [23:01] Leng says, "ill die unkissed"
  324. [23:01] Bella Di Maria says, "....Nothing's wrong with waiting for marriage, Mythran"
  325. [23:02] Dantalion leaves with Leng unless intercepted.
  326. (Dantalion)
  327. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  328.
  329. [23:02] Mythran Yugao says, "I was speaking to the demon..."
  330. [23:02] Dan Karadin whispers something.
  331. [23:02] Dan Karadin whispers something.
  332. [23:02] Bella Di Maria whispers something.
  333. [23:02] Dan Karadin whispers something.
  334. [23:03] smassh
  335. (Dantalion)
  336. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  337.
  338. [23:03] mine
  339.
  340. (Leng)
  341. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  342.
  343. [23:06] Dantalion asks, "You've chosen death. Why?"
  344. [23:06] Dantalion says, "However, you can still go. Run, away, insignificant one. Run away. "
  345. [23:06] Leng says, "... I ain't no coward."
  346. [23:06] Dantalion says, "You are a coward, and we both know that."
  347. [23:06] Leng says, "You can pry apart every other little thing about me."
  348. [23:07] Leng says, "But bring me to the edge of death, and I dare you to find a hint of fucking fear in me."
  349. [23:07] Dantalion says, "Hm.... Again, you are a coward. You fear me, you fear death. However, to be a coward against a being such as myself is not something to be ashamed of."
  350. [23:07] Dantalion says, "Run away."
  351. [23:08] Dantalion says, "Go to them, to Tongyishan, of those whom you've pledged your allegiance to."
  352. [23:08] Leng draws her blame in fuming silence, barring teeth.
  353. (Leng)
  354. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  355.
  356. [23:08] Leng says, "... Stop talking."
  357. [23:08] Leng says, "I don't. Care. What you think and expect of me."
  358. [23:09] Dantalion stops talking indeed, but uses telepathy instead.
  359. (Dantalion)
  360. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  361.
  362. [23:09] Leng reeees.
  363. (Leng)
  364. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  365.
  366. [23:09] Dantalion says, "<Is that so?>"
  367. [23:09] Leng says, "I am not taking a SINGLE step backwards."
  368. [23:09] Dantalion says, "<So you wish to die then? Despite knowing you're nothing against me?>"
  369. [23:10] Dantalion says, "<Or do you perhaps cling to a false hope that you can escape me once I've defeated you?>"
  370. [23:10] Leng says, "If I fuckin' die, then I die."
  371. [23:10] Leng says, "Death is the end. I do not CARE about what happens when I'm gone."
  372. [23:11] Dantalion says, "<What made you choose death? Because I made you realize how insignificant you are? Is that it?>"
  373. [23:12] Leng says, "I wanna see if I can kill you."
  374. [23:12] Dantalion says, "<And if you cannot?>"
  375. [23:12] Dantalion says, "<Will you run away? Flee?>"
  376. [23:12] Leng says, "Then I die. And it doesn't fucking matter."
  377. [23:12] Dantalion says, "<Well then... Prepare yourself.>"
  378. [23:12] Leng asks, "If I fall, and I cannot fight, but I can still run?"
  379. [23:12] Leng says, "I will not."
  380. [23:12] Leng coughs.
  381. (Leng)
  382. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  383.
  384. [23:12] Dantalion says, "<You will.>"
  385. [23:12] Leng says, "I will NOT."
  386. [23:12] Dantalion says, "<I guarantee you... you will... you willl....>"
  387. [23:12] Leng says, "I WILL NOT."
  388. [23:17] A flair of heat, a bare of blade, and a silent exhale settles her stance, bulks her thin frame with muscle upon the influx of raw mana.
  389.
  390. And she bears serious a stare towards the demon.
  391. (Leng)
  392. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  393.
  394. [23:17] The demon spread his wings, levitating mid-air as spheres of flame and darkness surrounded his being.
  395.
  396. "Perish."
  397. (Dantalion)
  398. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  399.
  400. [23:20] Dantalion says, "Surrender now..."
  401. [23:20] Dantalion asks, "Is this how you wish to write your life?"
  402. [23:20] Leng says, "Absolutely. NOT."
  403. [23:20] Dantalion asks, "Are you just going to give up? Without proving me wrong? Will you accept your fate, just like that?"
  404. [23:20] Dantalion asks, "Because of your pride?"
  405. [23:21] Leng asks, "You think I'd rather write a shameful chapter in my life's story than die fighting stronger than I?"
  406. [23:21] Leng says, "Fuck off."
  407. [23:21] Dantalion says, "..."
  408. [23:21] Dantalion says, "If that's your wish... Then die."
  409. [23:21] Leng says, "Even my DEATh proves you wrong."
  410. [23:21] Leng says, "I am no coward."
  411. [23:23] ** Dantalion has inflicted an injury upon Leng. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  412. [23:29] The demon fought and bested her after a long, arduous fight.
  413.
  414. Truth be told, Leng proved herself extremely capable, even to the point of matching the demon with raw strength and abilities alone. However, the demon's innate manipulation over fire and darkness seemed to have given him an edge, not to mention his mastery over time that allowed him to predict the warrior's movements.
  415.
  416. However, he never had the interest to kill her, for some reason - though he indeed said he will.
  417.
  418. He only stared at her as his wounds healed themselves. No, his wounds were turning back to what they were previously as time passed by.
  419. (Dantalion)
  420. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  421.
  422. [23:35] It's frustration nd anger at an outset, and she is a reckless fucking idiot on the battlefield. She charges in, trying to slam with everything she has--
  423.
  424. But she doesn't expect him to be so fucking fast. He darts in and out of her reach, stabs at her with better strengths, with more sturdiness-- thanks in some small part to her own culminated wounds.
  425.
  426. There's no excuse for losing, except that one is stronger than the other. Perhaps, midst their extended pauses between clashes, as she begins to fail, she could try to flee.
  427.
  428. Still Leng only moves forward, only sent back by his explosive flame, beaten back by better force, by better tactic, by more care and thought behind oneself.
  429.
  430. The Drakanite only charges forward until no longer can she stand, until she no longer can stand, until the warp of hostile flame has broken away at her magma shell, destroyed her stance, slammed her across the fields, and left her clinging to her blade, half stuck into the dirt.
  431.
  432. Defenseless. Shaking. Barely upright but by what little strength she has left.
  433.
  434. Her eyes are closed. She waits for an end to come.
  435. (Leng)
  436. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  437.
  438. [23:42] "Arise." the demon commanded as he stood over her, his voice penetrating her mind.
  439.
  440. "You've claimed that you waited for someone, someone to be able to win you back. And I have defeated you, though I do not wish for you to be mine. However, I admit that you are strong. And you'll even gain more strength if you destroy the shackles that bind you. Head for Gaiar, and go back to your master as you've claimed. That is where you belong. That is where you stand."
  441.
  442. He didn't know if Leng would heed his words, but he decided to let her decide her fate - though with a warning.
  443.
  444. "However, know that you won't be spared once Gaiar Aetherius claim Tongyishan with the flames of war."
  445.
  446. And with that, the space seemed to shift around him, leaving the area silently not unless stopped.
  447. (Dantalion)
  448. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  449.
  450. [23:46] Another failure. Another loss. Another life left behind. Another failure, another beginning.
  451.
  452. Does it matter? Will anybody miss her? Does she actually have anything to return to? Will Tragedy simply kill her for her defection, for her capture, for all her failures thus far?
  453.
  454. It doesn't matter, no. She's not dead. They don't plan to kill her, then, as she croons neck and struggles onto feet, unsteady and pained, grabbing at her shoulder with a wince.
  455.
  456. " … Wh. Where is she? "
  457.
  458. She doesn't try to stop him. Only the question is offered, as she as of yet still does not find the feet to move.
  459. (Leng)
  460. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  461.
  462. [00:02] Of course, Dantalion didn’t know how Tragedy will react if ever Leng decides to see her. Perhaps the Archon will slay her, or perhaps not. He didn’t know the past between the two. However, he granted her only what he could – a choice.
  463.
  464. "The capital city of demons, Gaiar Aetherius. If you seek guidance, then find Visionary, for that is what he calls himself. He will help you find your way, just tell him what happened and be sure to mention my name." he said, glancing to Leng from his peripherals.
  465.
  466. "And I shall be watching your journey, whatever path you decide, human."
  467.
  468. With that, he would blur then finally disappear, leaving the woman to herself.
  469. (Dantalion)
