Mario 3 Warpless Beginner Notes w safety strats

W1
*STAR* from Hammer Bro in W1
-fireball on W1 boss if you can

W2
-Skip first W2 Hammer Bro - go to 2-3
-2-5, get Hammer Bro w/ *HAMMER*

W3
-in 3-1 go over the top of the level
-door 6 in 3-fort
-kill both Hammer Bros (*HAMMER*, *STAR*)
-Door 6 in 3-fort
-Cloud on 3-6, go down to 3-8 - DO NOT DIE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
-Fire on boss if you can

W4
-Hit rock w hammer after 4-3, before fortress
-Hammer Bro for *CLOUD*
-Try to manip Lakitu in 4-4 to bounce and get over the top
-Hammer Bros for *P-WING*, *STAR*
-4-6

W5
-5-2 up pipe at start
-5 Fortress (possible Cloud option)
-*P-WING* from Hammer bro

W6
-Use Hammer to get to pipe, Hammer Bro after for another *HAMMER*
-Try to keep fire into 6-fort (star to Boom-Boom in second half, if you can)
-P-wing in 6-5 (& Star, if you need it to not get hit)
-Hammer bros for *CLOUD*, *STAR*
-Hammer to get to 6-Fort-2

W7
-7-2 Star, get P-Speed, Go FAST
-Cloud 7-4
-P-wing on 7-fort
-P-wing on 7-6, go over the top
-7-8  w/ star (7-7 is fine if you don't want to do 7-8)
-Use cloud on 7-9 or 7-fort (P-wing on fort works, too)
-Music box on Piranha Plant

W8
-Just swim under the boats if you want
-Pray for hand luck (maybe not that bad to get a leaf, actually)
-Just use a leaf for air force, if you have one
-Fireballs on Bowser is ideal (unless you grabbed Hammer Bro suit in W6)
-Use the 1up box to do the clip in Bowsers fortress - stay up top in the donut section, fireball him from the top of the door
