Ring Scene

A: This is it...
A: Syrabane! Answer me!
A: Come forth!
A: Come on damn you!

A: What the... I had it just now. (Pause here and stop if Aldous does not actually have the ring "LOL")

A: This power shall be mine... Or I will destroy...
(Energy coalesces in the air around Aldous, and the Spectral Guardian solidifies in front of him in an icy explosion)
A: Agghh!
G: The Warlock's Ring has been scattered through the ages once again.
G: With it's bond broken, I have also been set free, and have come to answer this plea.
G: Knowledge you have sought only leads to fates worse than death.
G: You shall not forget the lessons that I have learned from this madness.
(Combat begins, Guardian becomes vulnerable)
A: What?! This isn't at all what I wanted!
A: Help!

G: Rest now... (Stop here if Aldous died, the Spectral Guardian teleports back to the dungeon and becomes invulnerable again)

A: What... What have I done?
A: I've wasted all this effort... All for some angry spirit to show up? Even that is now just a dead husk.
A: At least you were here. I don't think I would have survived otherwise.

P: Your foolish greed led to this!
A: I know, I know... The odds of anyone succeeding in tampering with that ancient design and understanding how to draw from it...

P: What's done is done.
A: Yes, and now I have to live with it.

P: What did that spectre have to do with any of this?
A: I don't know... As the explosion consuming the ring formed, I could feel that strange being warp into it's place. It could just be a dead husk for all I care.

P: Isn't there any way to get it back?
A: Unlikely. While I probably haven't destroyed the Warlock's Ring completely, the nature of artifacts like that means it will end up somewhere else.
A: Usually somewhere far away, years from now.
A: The power I wanted to keep forever is lost the wind.

P: What are you going to do now?
A: I don't know. I had another, minor project, but that's not nearly to the same scope as the ring.
