- Person A is having a rare bug with extremely strange behavior with 0x's implementation of mojang's authentication system. They go to 0x and are trying to debug it together in voice chat, and they work together to create a way to reliably reproduce the glitch. 0x realizes the potential of this as bypassing authentication immediately, but Person A does not. 0x tells fr1kin. Person A is being really leaky, mentioning this bug in public discord servers and channels, where some smarter people might realize the potential of how this could be exploited. 0x needs to shut them up. 0x explains what's going on and why they need to be quiet, and says that this has the potential to compromise all auth. Person A quiets down, figures it out, and gives it to jared. Once jared has it, they start up a group chat on riot to discuss the situation and what needs to happen. fr1kin shares it with the rest of nerds inc at this point, after Jared knew. Jared needs to keep this quiet because they just want to data collect.
- 0x comes to the conclusion that if he tells the masons that this bug exists, that that will become public knowledge. As earlier, essentially this bug is so simple that it's been hiding in plain sight. If people just knew exactly where to look (the implementation of mojang's authentication API, which was previous thought to be "perfect" since it has such a simple job to do), it would be found. It would be completely uncontrolled with any script kiddie being able to login to anyones account. He figured it would be best to keep it contained as much as possible until it's patched and make sure none of the group bases and members would be hurt by nerds inc with the exploit. He knows that Mojang knows about this bug from Hypixel given how they were able to troll streamers. He would have personally reported it to mojang immediately if they'd had a bug bounty program.
- The grief of the emperium end base happened without 0x's knowledge while he was offline, jared leaked it since it wasn't a mason base. 0x doesn't know if this end base was exploited or insided, his initial assumption was insided. 0x had forbidden Mason bases from being griefed.
- 0x didn't clear any echests or kill anyone to spawn. And no one did this to any masons (not even dark).
- Nerds Inc don't care so much about griefing, they just want the data. They set some guidelines on what is and is not okay. Jared abides by this, but then says that he's thinking about breaching them and he's thinking about logging into Fit's account. This is Sunday. 0x logs into fits account quickly to get 3 screenshots to prove that it's real, then warns fit immediately to stash anything important from his echest. Jared did not actually ever log into Fit's account. Fit tells some members of the community, and this spreads to the whole shitstorm on Sunday night.
