  1. Kemonomimi report
  2.
  3. =====Phyiscal and Mental Report======
  4. Kemonomimi are a known subspecies that look like humans but with phyiscal traits of a animal. These Kemonomimi are intelligent enough for speech and basic problem solving as well as having human social interactions.
  5. Overall intelligence varys, being comparable of a human child around six or upto ten years old. It is still possible for them to be more capable in some ways.
  6. However basic instinct will often take over when they are in a unfamiliar situation or become stressed, behaving more like their animal counterpart.
  7.
  8. Physically they appear human but have several key features that humans lack. This is mainly in the form of a tail and ears, which are of an animal. The type of tail and ears vary and there are many different types.
  9. They are known to sometimes be more sensetive than humans, most notable around the ears and tails.
  10. Examples are but not limited to.
  11. -Cat
  12. -Dog
  13. -Rabbit
  14. -Fox
  15. -Wolf
  16.
  17. Other versions do exist however these are the most commonly found types. Even though there are many different types they are still considered the same species, even if their animal counter-part are not.
  18. There are other differences that set them apart from humans that are more minor and less apparent. Most notable being their eyes and teeth, being more akin to their animal counter-part.
  19. unique patterns in the hair and unique colors not found in humans are also possible.
  20.
  21. Because of these biological differences Kemonomimi have a heightened sense of smell, hearing and sight, being slightly above the average human. The exact increase will vary on depending on the type.
  22.
  23. They grow much faster than humans, reaching full maturity in about seven to eight years.
  24. Their height when fully grown is usually between 130cm to 150cm. Usually looking no different than a human child of age 12.
  25.
  26. Because of their nature and often difficulty adapting fully to human culture, most of them are put under the care of a human. Those that are not will often end up various homes, waiting for a human caregiver to adopt them.
  27. Many humans seek to adopt them for different reasons. From wanting a companion or new member of their family.
  28.
  29. Cases of wild Kemonomimi do appear and one should be careful when approaching them as they may not take kindly to humans. While they arent exactly the most dangerous due to their small size and limited strength, they are still able to bite with sharp teeth and may have sharpend claws or makeshift weapons.
  30. Please refer to the section on Wild Kemonomimis for more information.
  31.
  32. The average Kemonomimi can be very playful and have high energy, but variants in personality are as common as with humans.
  33.
  34. They can grow very attatched to a human, usually their caretakers and form a deep loyal bond with them. This is similar to other animals bonds such as with dogs or cats but much deeper.
  35. This attachment can only be summed up as "love". They will attempt to remain close to their human and can often get very phyiscal with them and if encouraged can lead to deeper connections (See below for more details on sexual bonding)
  36. Being away from this person for too long can cause them a great deal of stress and anxiety, and should be avoided to not cause them health problems.
  37.
  38. This attatchment isnt limited to just those of the opposite gender and they will just as easily form one with someone of the same gender.
  39.
  40. Their attatchment isnt easily broken and once they have become attatched to a human they will not easily sway. Only in the most dire situation can this bond be broken, such as either death or long term abondamment.
  41. High ammounts of stress and anxiety after a bond is broken is very common and forming a new bond is unlikely. So great care should be taken when dealing with Kemonomimis who have suffered such loss.
  42.
  43. It is possible for them to form an attatchment to more than one human. Such as if they are part of a family and have more than one primary caregiver.
  44.
  45. Outside of any caregiver or immediatly close humans, they might often be shy and keep their distance when around strangers. Depending on how their caregiver reacts they will be more open.
  46.
  47. Bonds between each other is less common but still occur. This can take the form of a sibling like bond if they are raised together or that of close friends with regular visits. They do not show the same affection and love for one another like they do with a human.
  48.
  49. The different types also tend to slightly vary in personality traits. While this isnt always the case it is fairly common for that type.
  50. Cat - Cat types are less active than other types and often perfer to laze around.
  51. Dog - The most active type, they enjoy lots of phyiscal activity and are the most loyal.
  52. Rabbit - These types prefer a lot of physical contact with those they are attatched to and are very shy around strangers.
  53. Fox - They are very playful and are known for their mischief.
  54. Wolf - They are very much like the Dog type but can be more aggressive and moody.
  55.
  56. ========Info on Intimacy with Kemonomimi=======
  57. Sex with a human is possible and fairly common practice for them to do with a human they have become attatched to. They do not usually actively seek out sex with a human at first, but their instinct often leads them towards it.
  58. Sex to them is more about pleasure and being embraced by their loved ones instead of reproduction. Its not uncommon for them to start activtly seeking it out from their caretakers after they have been taught about it.
  59. While it is not required for their health, mental or physical it should be done regularly to keep them from getting too stressed from feeling ignored or neglected. Alternatives do exist for those who do not wish to engage in such activitys or are unable to.
  60.
  61. Kemonomimis do go into heat occasionally. They will see a large increases in their arousal. Stress will be further increased if they are not able to relieve themselves via contact with another. This only occurs when they are around a human they are attatched too. Cases of them going into heat in the wild is rare.
  62.
  63. They are also able to have sex with each other, but this isnt usually done in the same manner as humans. With humans its usually done for pleasure and bonding but with another of their own races its often only done for breeding purposes.
  64. It is highly recommend to get a vasectomy for male Kemonomimis if they are going to around females frequently. Such as living within the same house.
  65.
  66. Pregnancy rate is fairly high and often only takes a single night of coupling to conceive. Pregnancy will last for about five to six months before giving birth. Twins or triplets are the most common, almost always fraternal but single births are still possible.
  67. Babies will remain with the mother for around two years and are then usually adopted.
  68. Any child will always take on the type of the mother. So while different types can breed, the outcome is always the same. Other characteristics such as hair and eye color tends to come from the father more commonly.
  69. Example.
  70. F.Cat x M.Cat = Cat
  71. F.Cat x M.Dog = Cat
  72. Breeding different types do sometimes alter the characteristics slightly, where a F.Fox x M.Rabbit, the offspring's tail would be shorter while the ears longer, but will a Fox type regardless.
  73.
  74. Pregnancy with a human is considered impossible without medical help. But only between a human male and female Kemonomimi, the reverse has never been recorded in history.
  75. This will result in a half-breed which is refenced below.
  76.
  77. =======Info on Half-Breeds========
  78. Half-breeds are rare, when a human male and female Kemonomimi have a child together. It is only possible with medical help and in many places illegal or frowned upon.
  79. The half-breed takes on all of the traits of the mother and appears no different than a typcial Kemonomimi at first glance.
  80. Half-breeds are also unable to produce children, whether male or female or with a human or a pure breed Kemonomimi.
  81. The only major difference is that their eyes appear the same as a human than a Kemonomimi.
  82. Otherwise the only way to truly tell if its a half-breed is with a DNA test.
  83.
  84. Half-breed often exhibit different behavior than pure ones. They can be less obedient and sometimes anti-social, not bonding closely with a human or Kemonomimi. A healthy environment has been known to solve these behavior issues.
  85.
  86. Base instinct has been known to cause them great anxiety. The theory being their human side is unable to completely understand their Kemonomimi half which causes them a lot of stress and anxiety.
  87. Half-breeds also enter heat like purebreeds. This is often much more intense for them and they have trouble controling themselves, causing them increased stress if not delt with.
  88.
  89. Their intelligence is much higher than a normal Kemonomimi. Being able to preform more complex problem solving and independence than the average Kemonomimi. However this is still wildly untested due to the rarity of half-breeds.
  90.
  91. The ears and tail of half-breeds are very sensitive to stumli. This is assumed to be the result of extra nerves that the human half of the brain is unable to comprehend.
  92.
  93. They remain physically the same and age at the same rate as a normal Kemonomimi would. They do appear to be slightly taller than the average Kemonomimi, but the data is still limited.
  94.
  95. The laws and society still see half-breeds the same as a normal Kemonomimi and are not treated any differently. So they must still be put under the care of a caregiver.
  96.
  97. =======Info On Wild Kemonomimis=========
  98. Wild Kemonomimis do exist out in the world. They are often find in rural areas with minimal human presence. Living in abandoned buildings or making make shift shelter out of what they can find or using natural shelter.
  99.
  100. Social structure of Kemonomimis in the wild follow a patriarchy. Where the strongest male leads. The lead male will surround themselves with a harem of females. Other males can be apart of this tribe and those that are loyal enough might also have a female of their own.
  101. Sizes of tribes vary, but are usually between 15 to 30 but sometimes can reach in the hundreds.
  102.
  103. Unlike domesticated Kemonomimis, wild ones are often feral and hostial towards humans. It is possible to gain their trust but it takes time.
  104. Attempting to demesticate a once wild Kemonomimi is not advised but can be possible. Much care should be taken when attempting to interact with a wild Kemonomimi.
  105.
  106. Intelligence is overall much lower in wild Kemonomimis. But they have shown to be more innovative and more independent than those domesticated.
  107. Their language isnt understood very well, but they appear to speak what ever the local language with alterations.
  108.
  109. They will mostly hunt for food, eating other local wild life. They will also forage for nearby ediable fruits or other stuff.
  110. If they are close enough to a human populace they have been known for stealing food.
  111. Cannibalism has been record in some extremely rare cases when food is scarce.
