  4. [2011-03-27 17:23:17] <AdventFalls> Three months. Three whole months since she'd left behind everything she'd known to follow Miss Blue into a world she had only heard of in stories. Miss Blue's stories, but regardless.
  5. [2011-03-27 17:24:08] <AdventFalls> After being introduced to the Mage's Association, Rei had officially been declared Aoko's apprentice. She had gained some capacity to use magic, but she was still only a novice- capable only of the most basic spells.
  6. [2011-03-27 17:24:45] <AdventFalls> Miss Blue had seemed particularly eager to catch Rei up on training so she could go into the world and make things happen.

  10. [2011-03-27 17:25:55] <AdventFalls> She was to pick up an item from a contact- who knew she was coming- and leave.
  11. [2011-03-27 17:26:15] <AdventFalls> It *seemed* simple enough, but she was a bit nervous. After all, it's not easy to escape an island.

  15. [2011-03-27 17:52:04] <Sandwitches> The dock that the small ship is approaching seems to be filled with numerous ships, both big and small... yet strangely there is no activity around the ships.

  17. [2011-03-27 17:52:52] <AdventFalls> Rei knew enough about island towns to know that empty docks meant the town was celebrating.... or something was wrong.

  20. [2011-03-27 18:01:07] <AdventFalls> The ship she was staring at had a familiar symbol on it from her training- the symbol of Saint Nicholas.

  22. [2011-03-27 18:48:08] <AdventFalls> She went to gather her things as she waited to make her approach. Something about this felt odd, and her gut told her that getting in and out FAST would be the name of the game.

  24. [2011-03-27 18:49:24] <Sandwitches_> Within Ten minutes Rei emerges form the bowels of the ship, just as it reaches the dock...
  25. [2011-03-27 18:51:20] <AdventFalls> Just as the docks had been empty, they were also dead quiet.
  26. [2011-03-27 18:51:32] <AdventFalls> The only thing she could notice.... was strange music coming from the Church ship.
  27. [2011-03-27 18:58:21] <AdventFalls> She decided not to screw around Church property- a quick in and out, she reminded herself. Last thing she needed was the Church poking around.
  28. [2011-03-27 19:00:58] <Sandwitches_> After a bit of Navigating through the docks, Rei quickly finds herself at an exit gate, which would lead to the silent town beyond.

  31. [2011-03-27 19:11:11] <AdventFalls> Rei went through the gate, taking careful care to close it behind her. Something just felt off.
  32. [2011-03-27 19:14:45] <Sandwitches> As she exits the dock, Rei quickly comes to relaize that the town is seemingly filled with fog.
  33. [2011-03-27 19:15:16] <Sandwitches> She also notices that only two or three of the buildings nearby appear to hae their lights on... A Pub, a hotel, and a Bakery.
  34. [2011-03-27 19:17:04] <AdventFalls> Rei sighed as she looked at her watch. Three hours until she met her contact at the inn. She tried to take a closer look at the buildings before deciding where to go.
  35. [2011-03-27 19:33:15] <Sandwitches> The Bakery seems rather ordinary, and upen a closer look is revealed to have a small dining area within, currently used by three or four people.

  37. [2011-03-27 19:50:27] <AdventFalls> Rei took a quick peek at the pub, to see if anything struck her eye there.

  39. [2011-03-27 19:54:54] <Sandwitches_> Rei isn't able to catch much... other than the rather MASSIVE group of people within the pub.
  40. [2011-03-27 19:55:36] <AdventFalls> [I guess I got nothin'.] Rei took a quick look at the inn.
  41. [2011-03-27 20:01:11] <Sandwitches_> Rei's quick peak into the Inn simply reveals that there is a resturant on the first floor.
  42. [2011-03-27 20:01:42] <AdventFalls> Rei sighed before walking into the bakery.
  43. [2011-03-27 20:07:47] <Sandwitches_> The door jingles as Rei enters the Bakery, and she is overcome by a wave of warm air. A blue haired woman behind the counter looks up and smiles before getting back to work.
  44. [2011-03-27 20:08:29] <Sandwitches_> Two of the five tables are occupied by people snacking on pastries and sipping warm drinks.
  45. [2011-03-27 20:09:33] <AdventFalls> Rei went up to the counter and nodded. "Hey. I'm... a little lost. Why's everyone in the pub?"
  46. [2011-03-27 20:18:09] <Sandwitches_> The blue haired woman adjusts her glasses and looks back to Rei. "I'm not too sure myself."
  47. [2011-03-27 20:19:23] <AdventFalls> "I'm just asking because.... everything else looked so empty besides here."
  48. [2011-03-27 20:34:08] <Sandwitches_> "It's been like that the past couple of months." The woman admits. "Now... Is there anything I can get for you?"

  51. [2011-03-27 20:39:39] <AdventFalls> "A sandwitch, bread bowl of soup...."
  52. [2011-03-27 20:42:04] <Sandwitches> The woman grins. "I'd reccomend one of the Curry Breads."
  53. [2011-03-27 20:49:35] <Sandwitches> The woman turns and sorts through some still steaming pastries and returns with a roll that bares a passive resemblance to a birds head. "Here, try one of my Puffin Curry Breads!"
  54. [2011-03-27 20:51:39] <AdventFalls> "How much'll that be?"
  55. [2011-03-27 20:52:08] <Sandwitches> "You're from out of town right?"
  56. [2011-03-27 20:52:30] <AdventFalls> "Well- yes," Rei admitted. "I was just passing through."
  57. [2011-03-27 20:53:12] <Sandwitches> "Then the first one is free."
  58. [2011-03-27 20:53:33] <AdventFalls> Rei blinked. "Are you sure? I mean... I may be from out of town, but I can pay."
  59. [2011-03-27 20:55:44] <Sandwitches> "No, no it's fine. The first one is free. If you want anymore though, they;ll cost Five Krone apiece."
  60. [2011-03-27 20:56:09] <AdventFalls> Rei nodded. "Alright. Can I get that to go?"
  61. [2011-03-27 21:02:28] <Sandwitches> "Of course." The woman sets about carefully wrapping up the pastry and places it carefully in a bag for Rei.
  62. [2011-03-27 21:03:04] <AdventFalls> "Thanks." Rei nodded politely and took the bag, playing a few krone into the tip jar. "Have a pleasant evening."
  63. [2011-03-27 21:05:07] <Sandwitches> "You too! And take care to not stay out too late, it gets really cold at night around here."
  64. [2011-03-27 21:06:29] <AdventFalls> "Will do!" And with that, Rei went out into the night, thinking for a moment before entering the pub to see what was going on.
  65. [2011-03-27 21:37:26] <Sandwitches> And finds herself just BARELY dodging a man shaped projectile that is sent flying out of the doorway.
  66. [2011-03-27 21:38:59] <AdventFalls> Rei stared at the man before looking inside.
  67. [2011-03-27 22:03:31] <Sandwitches> the entire pub is embroilled in a single, MASSIVE bar brawl.
  68. [2011-03-27 22:03:51] <AdventFalls> Rei sloooooooooowly backed away from the bar and went back to the bakery.
  69. [2011-03-27 22:06:26] <Sandwitches> Another person comes hurtling out of the pub towards Rei -
  70. [2011-03-27 22:07:57] <AdventFalls> -and Rei barely managed to duck out of the way on time, still backpedalling towards the bakery.
  71. [2011-03-27 22:15:09] <Sandwitches> The man hits the ground where Rei had stood moments before and rolls.
  72. [2011-03-27 22:15:28] <Sandwitches> And is soon followed but what is nothing less than a Rabid mob.
  73. [2011-03-27 22:17:21] <AdventFalls> "What the...." Rei frantically reached to reenter the bakery.
  74. [2011-03-27 22:18:32] <Sandwitches> (Move Silently.)
  75. [2011-03-27 22:19:39] <AdventFalls> [Pass]
  76. [2011-03-27 22:20:56] <Sandwitches> Rei manages to slip back into the bakery as the mob descends upon the red haired man.
  77. [2011-03-27 22:21:31] <Sandwitches> The woman behind the counter looks back up at the jingle and smiles. "Hello again."
  78. [2011-03-27 22:21:56] <AdventFalls> Rei turned around, breathing heavily. "I took a peek into the pub and nearly got run over."
  79. [2011-03-27 22:22:08] <AdventFalls> "I mean... just *look* out there!"
  80. [2011-03-27 22:23:21] <Sandwitches> The woman peaks out the door and lets out a long drawn out sigh. "Not again..."
  81. [2011-03-27 22:23:29] <AdventFalls> "Is that normal?"
  82. [2011-03-27 22:28:30] <Sandwitches> "There's normally fights... but they don't normally get this bad unless forigners are involved."
  83. [2011-03-27 22:28:30] <Sandwitches> Suddenly, a good third of the mob goes flying revealing the red haired man, who has seemingly regained his footing.
  84. [2011-03-27 22:28:30] <Sandwitches> The Woman's gaze turns hard.
  85. [2011-03-27 22:28:30] <Sandwitches> "Do you think you can get to the back room, and wait there until all of this has calmed down? I'm going to go and call the police."
  86. [2011-03-27 22:29:32] <AdventFalls> "S-Sure," Rei nodded. "This whole thing's just a bit shocking for me."

  88. [2011-03-27 22:36:31] <Sandwitches> The woman pulls a cellphone form... Somewhere... and points to a door at the farside of the dining area. "Though there."
  89. [2011-03-27 22:37:01] <Sandwitches> A man is sent flying into the front door of the Bakery, cracking the glass.
  90. [2011-03-27 22:37:04] <Sandwitches> "Hurry."
  91. [2011-03-27 22:37:15] <AdventFalls> Rei nodded, going through the back door.
  92. [2011-03-27 22:55:31] <Sandwitches> Seconds after the door closes behind Rei, Rei hears something shatter.
  93. [2011-03-27 22:55:32] <Sandwitches> screams echo into the bakery from outside, pained calls for help from dozens of different people.
  94. [2011-03-27 22:55:32] <Sandwitches> The door jingle as something enters, and Rei hears more glass shatter, this time accompanied by a pained cry from the Bakery Chef.
  95. [2011-03-27 22:55:32] <Sandwitches> A) Leave the room
  96. [2011-03-27 22:55:32] <Sandwitches> B) Stay in the room
  97. [2011-03-27 23:04:50] <AdventFalls> -Leave the room
  98. [2011-03-27 23:07:41] <AdventFalls> [If she's in trouble.... damn it. I can't just stay here!]
  99. [2011-03-27 23:14:46] <AdventFalls> She went back through the door....
  100. [2011-03-27 23:26:14] <Sandwitches> The first thing Rei sees is the blue haired woman picking herself up from the ruins of her display case.
  101. [2011-03-27 23:26:15] <Sandwitches> The Second thing she sees is the red haired man from earlier Standing over the woman.
  102. [2011-03-27 23:26:15] <Sandwitches> Both people's gazes snap towards Rei as the door closes behind Rei, The man's face twisting into a deranged grin.
  103. [2011-03-27 23:26:59] <AdventFalls> "What is your deal? She didn't do anything to you."
  104. [2011-03-27 23:38:41] <Sandwitches> The man grins and begins to chuckle.
  105. [2011-03-27 23:38:42] <Sandwitches> "Get out of here!" The Woman screams.
  106. [2011-03-27 23:38:42] <Sandwitches> The mans chuckle distorts into full on psychotic laughter As he charges at Rei with a speed unlike anything the girl has ever seen anyone move at-
  107. [2011-03-27 23:40:17] <AdventFalls> Rei titled her head, letting the man's punch fly by where her head had been. "My turn." She reared back a punch-
  108. [2011-03-27 23:51:29] <Sandwitches> Which the man sidesteps with little effort, his laughter rises in pitch.
  109. [2011-03-28 00:03:58] <Sandwitches> The Laughter stops as the man's face twists... and the man crashes down to the ground face first.
  110. [2011-03-28 00:03:58] <Sandwitches> Directly behind where the man had been standing moments before stands a black haired young man with a pair of bright blue eyes.
  111. [2011-03-28 00:03:58] <Sandwitches> He is dressed in a simple Blue winter coat and jeans... and within his right hand rests a bloody knife.
  112. [2011-03-28 00:03:58] <Sandwitches> The man stares at Rei for a long moment, before his eyes bulge with relization.
  113. [2011-03-28 00:05:21] <AdventFalls> Rei's eye's bulged as well. "S-Shiki?"
  114. [2011-03-28 00:05:52] <Sandwitches> "Sensei?"
  115. [2011-03-28 00:06:55] <AdventFalls> "Not.... quite."
  116. [2011-03-28 00:08:41] <Sandwitches> "Who.. Are you?"
  117. [2011-03-28 00:09:13] <AdventFalls> "...Here's the simplest way I can put it. My name is Rei Ikari-Aozaki. ...You could consider me Miss Blue's daughter."
  118. [2011-03-28 00:10:46] <Sandwitches> "Her... Daughter!?"
  119. [2011-03-28 00:11:09] <AdventFalls> "Like I said, it's the simplest way I can put it. It's complicated."
  120. [2011-03-28 00:11:30] <AdventFalls> "But it's good to see you, Shiki."
  121. [2011-03-28 00:12:54] <Sandwitches> "To see me...?" The man's eyes narrow. "Have we met before?"
  122. [2011-03-28 00:13:50] <AdventFalls> "...Miss Blue told me about you."
  123. [2011-03-28 00:22:53] <Sandwitches> "Why are you here?"
  124. [2011-03-28 00:22:53] <Sandwitches> "Yes... What ARE you doing here?" the blue haired woman says as she picks herself up and approaches the pair.
  125. [2011-03-28 00:24:52] <AdventFalls> "Just passing through," Rei nodded. "Miss Blue wanted me to pick something up from someone. And.... I was told to come to this island."
  126. [2011-03-28 00:26:47] <AdventFalls> She paused for a moment in thought, before her eyes lit up. "She's gonna be thrilled to hear that you're ok."
  127. [2011-03-28 00:36:56] <Sandwitches> "She did?"
  128. [2011-03-28 00:36:56] <Sandwitches> "Of COURSE she did. The only people who know you're still alive are your sister and the maids!" As the blue haired woman approaches, Rei catches a glimpse of the woman's injuries healing in the blink of an eye. "And you are NOT going to tell her."

  130. [2011-03-28 00:40:06] <Sandwitches> "Because he will never be safe otherwise."
  131. [2011-03-28 00:41:59] <AdventFalls> "From... what? So I can't even tell her he's okay and go 'but you gotta pretend he's dead'?"
  132. [2011-03-28 00:42:50] <Sandwitches> The blue haired woman glares at Rei. "You don;t tell her ANYTHING."
  133. [2011-03-28 00:43:17] <AdventFalls> "...Okay. Okay. Miss Blue doesn't get to know."
  134. [2011-03-28 00:45:14] <AdventFalls> She looked at Shiki, utterly confused.
  135. [2011-03-28 00:48:41] <Sandwitches> Shiki looks back, jsut as confused.
  136. [2011-03-28 00:49:02] <AdventFalls> "Just... why?"
  137. [2011-03-28 00:49:46] <AdventFalls> She didn't expect a straight answer, just hoping for something that could justify it.
  138. [2011-03-28 00:50:25] <Sandwitches> The woman simply Glares at Rei.
  139. [2011-03-28 00:51:01] <AdventFalls> "This is one of those 'I can't even explain' kinds of deals, isn't it."
  140. [2011-03-28 00:55:18] <Sandwitches> Shiki sighs and shakes his head."Just... go with it."
  141. [2011-03-28 00:56:34] <AdventFalls> "If you say so, Shiki." She sighed, opening up the to-go bag and looking at the pastry. "....I think I've lost my appetite," Rei groaned.
