Step 1
The method only requires one thing, and that is a serial number of an iPhone. This can be obtained from your friends phone or one that you find online such as a dummy phone in the apple store.
You will be ordering a replacement iPhone from offering back nothing at all. To do this you will have to go to the following link, filling in your country and serial number.

Following the promts and screens you will "Request Service" and then sign in with your Apple ID. You will create one if you do not have one.
Afterwards of the acceptance of their Terms of Service page please follow the instructions below.

Step 2
Describe The Issue:
Service Option: Repair or Replace
Method: Battery, charging and power
Detail Description: Charging iPhone
Then in your own words desribe your problem you are having with your product.

Step 3
Check the service marked "I beleive my product is covered for service..."
Also checking the two TOS boxes for erasing data and Sim Cards.

Step 4
Follow the promt to fill in your address where they will ship your replacement box.

Step 5
An email would be sent to your registered email. In the next few days you will receive a replacement box in the mail. You are to take out the paperwork in that box and take out your care package that they wish to send your iphone back in.
Once you have taken out the care package box, seal it in the return package bag with the paper work that came with it.
Open the bag along the top of it so it purposly looks like it has been tampered with, opening the box inside the bag. Then resealing it to be able to ship back to them.

Take it to the post office and don't forget proof of posting.

Step 6
An email will be sent to you saying that they have received your care package service box and then after another short wait, they should send you that a replacement is on its way.
Please note that you did not send any device in return for this service but essentially an empty box. Also note that the serial is not blacklisted nor reported stolen. The serial of the iphoone or ipod does need to be under warrenty!
