  1. Ok so earlier today I played in an SRL Pokken Tournament...tournament (thanks Bandai Namco/Game Freak) and at the start there was some confusion as to how to easily set up matches as the game doesn't have a lobby system like Smash or anything but instead just randomly searches. So my first opponent named LBlueEagle helped me test something prior to our match so I'm here to provide a quick and easy rundown on how to easily get Pokken Tournament online matches going and this will NOT require you to add each other. Perfect for those who have already hit the friend cap
  2.
  3. First off, go into "Friendly Match"
  4. Set the search to "Anyone"
  5. Set battle code to "Use"
  6. Have someone be the host and put in a simple code that's easy to quickly put in. For my matches earlier, I made the code Sv(opponent) so for Eagle our code was SvL and without even adding each other, we were able to start our match in seconds due to the game looking for anyone also using that very code. If you already have your opponent added then you can just use the "Friend" search setting rather than anyone. Meanwhile the other people were in the Discord channel adding each other when it could have been done without doing so and saves time between rounds.
